MC has something special that can make him win. Cortona even said there was stronger and smarter spartans than him. MC had luck that beat impossible odds. I think he can easily beat doom guy. Doom guy was most likely similar to the stronger spartans.

You seem to forgot to mention that Chief destroyed 2 planet sized Halo rings, made the Covenant Empire (an entire alien empire) afraid of him calling him "the Demon", destroyed an entire Covenant armada, Flood, and Covenant Assault Carrier single handily, destroyed the Didact's ship with a nuke, saved the galaxy three times and is about to save for a forth, caused so much destruction for the Covenant and Flood that even the Forerunners took notice. Got the Warden and Didact's respect being called a Warrior-Servant.

Doomslayer spent centuries dimension hopping from one version of hell to murdering entire demon populations of those Hells and was only stopped by dropping a mountain on top of him. and it only contained him, they couldn't kill him.

The Domain is not of Forerunner origin, it's actually a Precursor quantum dimension that the Forerunners used to contain a mass amount of past knowledge. Apparently the Domain is self aware and can give AIs power, it was connected to Forerunners personal armors and could explain the Didact's and Warden's use of constraint fields.

The Pfhor used the trih xeem device to cause it to go nova in a final desperate move to quell the S'pht slave rebellion at the end of Marathon 2, unknowingly freeing it . The W'rkncacnter is an indestructible, unpredictable, reality melting being of chaos, a universal threat. Durandal finds the ancient Jjaro station and sends the Security Officer in, hoping that it contains some way to stop the W'rkncacnter, or at least save himself. Inside the station, some intelligence (possibly a Jjaro AI or even one of the Jjaro themselves) guides him through time and across dimensions, hopping between alternate timelines and altering them (typically through incredible violence) until the W'rkncacnter is once again imprisoned.

I did play Infinity, but I got the impression, and was told by others, the game didn't actually happen and was just a dream and that Marathon: Durandal ending was the actual ending to the game. That's pretty neat to know the events actually transpired

Chief vs Doomguy would be a really close match and I can't really say I vow for any of the two.

On speed they are pretty much on par, Chief broke his Achilles tendon when he ran at 105Km/h when first trying out the MJolnir Mk V, so his top speed must be somewhere around 90-95km/h but that's only on a sprint, since Kelly is known to be the fastest Spartan II and her top sustained speed is of 62km/h as stated in Ghost of Onyx. DooMguy on the other hand is known to run for an unlimited time at about 40-50km/h iirc which is pretty close. I don't know about Doomguy's reflexes but Chief with a Mjolnir armor on has a reaction time over 6 times smaller than that of a normal soldier and judging form the gameplay Doomguy's reaction time must be on par at the very least.

On everything else it's the same, Doomguy is fucking super strong but Chief can lift several tons, their endurance to damage is also ridiculous, MC can withstand things like falling from orbit (and that's pre-armor enchancement and pre-librarian messing with his genes to make him the peak of all evolution) while Doomguy hold being attacked by pretty much every fucking thing demos can throw at him, on weapons they too are on par, maybe the Unmaker would give a bit of an edge to Doomguy but then again Chief is known to have a natural ability to isntantly understand how any weapon works and use it with an above average performance...


I'm gonna go ahead and call it a tie, a close one, with Doomguy almost winning.
