It depends on what kind of stuff you're working on.

Mobile Apps and Business software QA is dry and boring as fuck, and QA is cheap so if you work at a firm that specializes in QA, expect to get a lot of shit like "Oh we added one new feature here, please test this for 8 fucking hours even though you can probably figure out everything thats right and wrong about it in one hour."

Video games is ups and downs, its still work and it can be pretty boring sometimes or grindy but sometimes you get to do things like multiplayer testing and its a lot of fun.

QA is not a good place to go though if you want a career, you're the lowest paid in the software dev industry with no real room to go up. Im just working here until I find a better job.
