Is Wild Guns Reloaded any good...

Is Wild Guns Reloaded any good? I was thinking about getting the game tomorrow since I saw the physical copy at my local game shop. I haven't played the original SNES game but should I still get this for $30? How good is it? Is there any replay ablity? Thanks In Advance

The game is basically a remake of the SNES game with two new characters. It is a console arcade style game. The replayability is in trying to beat higher difficulties and get better scores.

An issue I have with the game is that I think they took out continues in multiplayer. I definitely remember the original having it and this new one just dumps you to game over and then the title screen when playing multiplayer.

Do I have to beat the game on single player first?

I haven't played Reloaded yet, but the original SNES game is great. It's short, but it's fun to replay. I've heard that Reloaded is quite difficult.

$30 feels a little steep if you're unsure about the game. I'd emulate the SNES game first to see if it's something you'd enjoy, and you might want to wait for a sale on the digital version of Reloaded before buying.

I don't think many people have played reloaded yet. I'm still trying to figure out what is up with the multiplayer.

I'll just emulate the SNES version and see if I'm down with it, also you could really onlyy get the physical copy on play-asia and even then it'll be like $40 so yeah

Haven't really heard anyone talk about this game either.

I was just skimming the GameFAQs board. It looks like there are no continues in multiplayer, but I'm not entirely sure. I see at least one Natsume representative is also there fielding feedback, so I suppose they might take some complaints into consideration if they decide to update anything in the game.

weebshit

It's too expensive for what you get.

Yeah, that is weird to me just because the original game had it for sure. It makes the multiplayer kinda harder especially since you can't change the difficulty of the multiplayer either. I'm going to beat the game solo and see if it unlocks anything, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I wanted to play this with someone who isn't that good at games, but it is kinda made way harder and at this point I'll just play the SNES version instead.

Not really, you faggot.

I bought it. Ask me anything.

As far multiplayer is concerned, there are no continues. Furthermore, everyone shares the extra lives, which is probably to make up for the extra two possible players

So, are they basically expecting you to play multiplayer with three other players on your couch every time and expecting all four of you to be competent at the game?

That seems insane to me. The original had continues and separate lives as well. I'm pretty sure you could adjust the difficulty too.

Yes. Better get down with practicing the lasso

You can only adjust the difficulty for singleplayer mode

Also I'll say that the new characters are meh. Fat chick practically requires you to memorize where enemies are going to be, and the dog's thing has an auto-lock on within a certain radius so it makes hitting a more threatening target out of a group harder

>No continues in multiplayer

FOR WHAT PURPOSE

Learning the original in multiplayer was fun, and now people can't do that

Is it worth $30

I hope more SNES-era games like Wild Guns Reloaded and Assault Suit Leynos gets remakes

I'd wait for a sale. The new levels are great, and they did a goddamm fantastic job with the graphics and music, but the multiplayer sucks at the moment

>SNK is back
>Wild Guns
>Assault Suits Leynos

What did we ever do to deserve such glory?

Ehh, I kind of wasn't looking for multiplayer but that sucks, currently playing Wind Guns SNES right now, man it's pretty hard.

>SNK is back

In name only right? They havent actually done anything yet outside KoF XIV

What if SNK made a new Aero Fighters with the same cast Aero Fighters usually has.

Do you have the physical copy.

Does it have local co-op?

Is the Leynos remake any good? It's on sale and I liked cybernator a lot but this looks way more intense. Does it play well with a controller rather than m+kb?

Yes? Stop whining and get good. I beat normal without continuing so can you and your faggot friends.

I think I might just get it and try to get good. But I'm still, I guess $30 will give me a big excuse to master the game, currently still playing the SNES game at the moment.

I'm good. My friends aren't.

I beat the entire game on a PS4 and the game was originally a Sega Genesis game.

If you liked Cybernator you'll dig this (and the new easter egg level) a lot.
