Did you 100% it?
I think the 'secret' hub world or whatever is comfy
Crash 2 is one of my favorites, at least.
Up there with CTR and Warped.
Getting 100% in 3 is pure cancer. Worse than 1.
Getting all that shit on the underwater, plane, and jetski levels is awful.
nice thread
I could never beat this game back in the day. I remember getting really far and never being able to progress beyond that point because the disc reader in the ps1 sucked.
it's all easy except for the Plane and the Tiger levels. Those are cancer.
Can we stop pretending Warped is better than 2, /woah/fags?
...
>the 5 PSX Crash games
>the 3 good Spyro games
>Ratchet and Clank
>Sly Cooper
>the Jak trilogy
What an era that was.
Easy but infinitely tedious and unfun.
Tiger was babby mode if you could beat the hidden bear level in Crash 2.
I'm missing 4 gems.
both from the ruins level, one from the first world of hub 5 and i forgot the last one.
I think you might need to do some box hopping in one of the surf levels to get those ruin gems. Getting the gem on Piston It Away requires you to skip the skull platform, get some boxes up ahead, and backtrack using a 3D jump around the shrink ray and then going through the skull route.
Beat most of Titans. It is fucking hard to KILL all enemies in later levels without running out of lives.
woah!
I actually got to the secret part in road to ruind using the spin jump (i love doing that) but i missed some boxes, the other one i need to backtrack i guess because the green gem path skips a lot of boxes.
But i wanted to beat it before the year ends, i will complete it some other time.
I forgot some gems in the snow escape level, the 100% on the electric bowler part was terrible.
Why are there so many Crash threads on Sup Forums now?
>That bear level where you're surrounded in the dark
Good thing I had a bunch of lifes.
people are hype for the ps4 remaster.
Also Oneyng played recently Crash 2.
Jokes on her, I like flat chests too.
>tfw trying to beat the hidden bear level and maintaining the 100 lives glitch to truly max out the game completion
So much time wasted doing it in the wrong order.
>3 good Spyro games
Hey, Hero's Tail was alright.
I was going to reply the games but i don't want to spoile the remakes
whoa
MARJ!
in which order do you guys enter the levels
in order or out of order
i usually do the levels in order but sometimes i'll skip a level and come back later to finish it if i don't like, for an example the pits. I don't mind back tracking but the camera really messes up your way of looking
>beated
this.
i thought i only noticed. fuck you illiterate Sup Forums
Considering I've replayed them a bunch, I do the most annoying levels first, then relax with the baby-easy ones.
>that one loud "WOAH"
caught me off guard.
FAVORITE / LEAST FAVORITE CRASH BANDICOOT 2 LEVELS?
Favorite: Crash Crush
Least favorite: Road to Ruin / Ruination
How was I supposed to know Ripper Roo's blonde hair was misleading and "he" was wearing a straight jacket?
Have a boy.
Is every Crash thread going to have Oney posting?
Not that I am complaining, just asking
3 is the only one I have ever 100%'d. I did it multiple times in my childhood.
been playing Crash Team Racing on PS1 yesterday.
man, I've missed out as a kid not having a PS1 back then.
that shit probably trumps Mario Kart.
some of the characters are fucking ugly and weird, however.
>Crash threads are now thinly veiled e-celeb youtoober threads
yay
It's fresh in a lotta people's minds, it's only natural.
woah
>Getting all plat relics in 3
I mean I can tolerate the bike levels, they're just really hard execution, but fucking jetski need execution AND RNG.
Getting 100% in Wrath of Cortex is easy because of all the game breaking abilities you get, but that one underwater time trial in that stupid submarine sphere was the hardest time trial I've ever done in a video game.
>tfw could never finish Crash 2 or 3
>tfw love the shit out of CTR
>emulate Wrath of Cortex because I don't remember it being so bad
>MASSIVE slowdown during the underwater levels, have approximately eight years to assess oncoming threats
>still have trouble with the goddamn time trials
Who thought that was fun? Who looked at the dumb bathysphere thing and thought it was fun?
You might be missing the crates gem from Cold Hard Crash, because there's that one asshole crate at the very top of the bouncy box.
I think Orange Asphalt was the one level where I really had trouble getting the platinum relic, much harder than Area 51
OneyNg did it. That shit looked so painful
>Start crash 1
>get the slippery climb
well that was a fun game, time to stop
Back in the day, my friend had a N64 while I had a PS1, we enjoyed Mario Kart a lot at his place, then when I bought CTR we were both just blown away at how much better the controls were. The Adventure and Time Trial modes also adds a lot of gameplay for single player.
I replayed Crash 3 so much as a kid.
I was comfortable with every level but always got anxious with Bug Lite
I really fucking loved the baby dinosaur, and the music for those dino chase levels was really good
Got everything from cold hard crash, having to return to the skull pad was a pain in the ass.
Sorryed
>get through Cold Hard Crash's death route, all the boxes broken, sweating bullets as I get to the next checkpoint and then find the rest of the sneaky crates in the level
>get to the end
>154/155
I don't think I've ever been that mad at a video game since, and I've been pretty goddamn mad.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
