I don't know anyone could buy another Battlefield game after Battlefield 3 unless you started at BFBC2 or later.

It has the least shit of all the battlefield games. The guns are boring, the vehicles are boring, the progression system is boring. The core is copy paste battlefield geamplay. I'll stick with 4, thanks.

I've been having a lot of fun with BF1.
I started with BC2 and have played every game since.

It took place in a much older time time frame of course things are going to play a bit slower. The gradual refined game play and vintage guns and vehicles make the game have a nice comfy atmosphere.

Of course kids with autism need flashing lights and a billion buttons to hit on the screen to feel satisfied but I'll try my best not to judge.

The last battlefield I played was bf2 if you need that information

Nope. Bought infinite warfare legacy edition and titanfall 2, no regrets (well, shouldn't have gone with legacy, should have just gotten normal iw since mwr is ass). I can buy boringfield 1 if I want to as well but I don't buy shitty games. Inb4 iw is bad meme.

I guess I fell for it? Though I enjoy it quite a bit desu. I will say that the community has gone to complete shit. On a team of 12 you'll have 6-10 scouts. And everyone's playing ass-backwards: going for k/d in objective based modes and rushing into enemy territory in TDM.

Also, just like every Battlefield title there are a lot of bugs and just shitty mechanics: spawning on top of an enemy squad, audio cutting in and out, getting taken out by invisible explosions janky-ass suppression...

But, overall it's pretty good desu.

Medics in this game are so fucking trash. I get sniped and I'm 3 meters away from the nearest medic and I still don't get a revive

How's the mp on ps4?

I'm interested in the game but it seems like you're just one small cog in huge machine that is kinda irrelevant to the whole outcome if you do it solo. Seems like it's made more for team based clans that wanna play strategically

I don't understand why i'm so bad at this game. I was frequently at the top of the scoreboard in battlefield 3 and 4, with a really solid KD and way more score than everyone else, now... It's a struggle to even be in 8th place and I lose every single fight. It's killing my enjoyment of the game I thought I was good.

Core shooter mechanics in battlefield were always decent at best, the only thing this series had going for it was variety, especially in terms of vehicles. Now the vehicles are boring as fuck, I have no incentive to use them, so bf turned to a less mechanically polished cod with bigger maps.

If you're going solo and plan on winning, you better be a damn strong player with a shit ton of patience.

The ps4 community is comprised of snipers and retarded children. Hardly anyone uses VOIP. People will spawn in tanks and just sit at the back of the map.
I've actually seen multiple people aiming in the OPPOSITE direction of the enemy.

I wish there was a decent milsim on ps4...

Yeah it's janky as shit sometimes but I do not find the gunplay boring at all, I find it to be a lot of fun.

i guess its okay, but even as the anti tank class i feel pretty powerless against tanks. the only thing that does any damage is the dynamite, and most tankers are too smart to drive into cramped areas that allow me to sneak up close enough to use it. and when you die, it takes forever to get back into the action unless youre in a big squad (provided theyre not all sniping)

Also is anybody having issues with hit detection? I swear my reticle is right on target and yet I still miss at nearly point blank.

Not sure if it has anything to do with lag, but it is fucking infuriating.

I do know that some cunts have figured out if they play on a foreign server and have just high enough ping to lag but not disconnect they effectively have godmode enabled.

I've seriously encountered dozens of people doing this. There's even a discussion of this topic on the official bf1 forums.

If I want to play a competitive shooter I turn on CS, if I want to get intoxicated sit back in my comfy chair and run around shooting conquering objectives and dying without a care I turn on Battlefield.

Not to mention it looks and sounds gorgeous.

bolt action only mode is fun when you can get it, glad they added the option.

That said, Martini Henry vs SMLE is totally unbalanced in hardcore mode (which 90% of Standard Issue Rifle mode servers use) because the memetini is all downsides since almost everything is a killshot. Gewehr 98 vs SMLE also feels a bit unbalanced cause IMO the SMLE is just better. Italy vs A-H is the only one that feels balanced.

i am tired of the small scale, the maps are big but there are just a few players on every spot, so it rarely feels like a battle.

operations is boring now because they can't balance it and there are too many tickets now, also i only liked the hell operation.
just played 50 hours since release and i am tired of it.

The stupidest thing about this game is how they made several guns exclusive to Pilot/Tanker classes.

Its dumb that a cool gun like the C96 Carbine won't ever be used by you unless you leave your vehicle, and that's a terrible move.

I just don't get why they'd basically banish them from practical usability.

The Last shooter I really loved was FEAR. I font know how Doom, Battlefield and Titanfall get praise.

Keep TAA on at all times, sync your FPS with your monitors refresh rate. Turn off V-sync. You will still get some screen tear but it will stabilize your FPS considerably.

Just play Verdun.

Making a WWI shooter is a stupid idea, so im glad they ignored that stuff.

But the guns are balanced. The likelyhood of you winning a gunfight against someone of equal skill in anything over 60M with an SMG vs a Rifle/SL-Rifle or LMG is very low. Different guns for different situations. The Italians and germans loved to equip their specialised close-quarters troops with SMGs.

It's only fun because of Operations which reminds me a lot of Red Orchestra 2 but if it actually played well, everything else in the game including conquest is trash and only played by retards.
