Ronda Rousey was so dominant that Dana White and the UFC decided to create the women's bantamweight division solely for her to head. Rousey had an excellent run, finishing all of her opponents in typically record time but became arrogant and full of herself by the time she fought Holly Holm. This was further impeded by her trainer, Edmond Tarvedyan, a man who is so fucking incompetent that he believes that Ronda is an excellent striker. He is fucking poisonous to everyone he touches, and I firmly believe that he holds the majority of responsibility for why Ronda is no longer good and when Travis Browne has gotten worse as well. Ronda is now officially worse than a meme fighter, and unless she leaves that retard Edmond's gym, she will always be such.

There's absolutely no point in seeing Rousey's defeats as some sort of threat to feminism since she only gets her ass kicked by other women. If anything, everyone should be happy that female fighters can be competitive with one another instead of just having one dominant champion hog all the attention.

I know so little about Rousey that I don't have any negative feelings against her personally, but she's clearly more of a marketing tool than a person in women's MMA.

I don't know if you've looked at a white person's ass or even seen an ass in person but white people are so pale that you can see pimples and veins on and under the skin. Shit's gross.

I always wondered why I found dark skin to be so appealing, even though it's not really "exotic" for me. It just naturally covers up the imperfections in the skin better than light skin does. Granted, the imperfections are still there but they're naturally less noticeable with a darker pigment surrounding them.

It feels a little fucked up to talk about human beings like they're finger paintings but it feels interesting to notice this.

Here's the whole story. Ronda comes in to MMA round about the time that it's finally hit popular status which means that feminism pokes it's head in and asks why women can't get slapped around by other women and invade another man's hobby. Ronda and a couple other untrained amateurs decide they want to be just like George St.Pierre and kick ass like tough women.

Being the tough, typical tomboy she's always claimed to be, she routinely slaps around other females with ease. Her one-trick-pony however is the arm bar. The Arm Bar is the most instant win maneuver in MMA. You either tap out (because your opponent *strongly implies* but will never actually break your arm because it would be the lowest of the low in a career where an injury like that can end it quickly) or you use advanced technique, experience and a high pain threshold to wiggle out of it. The women in the bantamweight division had none of those things, so they tapped out like they were taught to by their kid-gloved coaches.

So, because she wins every fight with her one-trick-pony, she is called the greatest female fighter in a league where females have barely begun a history of fighting. It's like being king of the largest trash pile because you sat on a garbage bag. Eventually someone else will want the title and will actually work hard for it.

So her ego inflates. She talks some major shit. Then Holly Holm comes in. Holm's fighting style is pretty good, prefering counter-attacks and powerful jabs. Against Ronda, who has only won her fights by grappling dainty flowers her entire career, a kickboxing and boxing specialist who's strike game is extremely solid, Ronda does what Ronda does best. She shit talks and doesn't train at all. She doesn't learn how to take a hit, she doesn't learn how to punch straight (watch some webms on how she punches in slow-mo. She looks like she's going to knock herself out with her own deltoid).

No, of course not. She was never a genuine agent for feminism to begin with because she only ever competed with other women. I don't understand why she's become such a cultural icon outside of MMA.

Again, I don't have anything against her as a person. I just find it baffling that she's become such a pop culture figure for some illogical reason.
