I sure am glad there's a refund option.
What a poor excuse of a game.

git gud
>he didn't make it past the Sodden Knight
I get what the game is trying to do but I don't want to play it.
vita version when
have been looking forward to this for a while, and now even more thanks to henkaku
What is really annoying is that all the weapons "feel" the same, so the specializing in a weapon type doesnt seem justified.
Also why would you stack points in attributes instead of going for more skills?
But it's like Dark Souls. It feels like a Souls games. It's like you're playing ANOTHER Dark Souls game. This is the Dark Souls of 2D games, how can you not like it?
Become proffiecient, you pleblord
I did, actually.
I just honestly think the game is shit at what it attempts to do.
Also the graphics look like they came straight outta newgrounds.
Huehuehuehuehue
It's a shitty ass flash game. I quit it minutes in when it felt like soggy garbage to play.
Only at the start.
Somewhere around the castle/temple/pyramid areas you start to walljump/airdash like an idiot and it basically becomes an Igavania which happens to have a stamina bar akin to Ecclesia and more mechanics.
Might be a blatant knock off but I still liked it
>itt people who did not play Salt and Sanctuary
I liked it but the balance is ass.
At least, for once, the big 2handed weapons are the overpowered ones.
everything becomes overpowered later on, even whips and guns.
I liked Dark Souls for all the reasons SnS didn't have
Momodora is better
>Google it
>See that disgusting cover art
Nope.
>disgusting
Shit taste detected
What is it with devs and sidescroller angels? Keep that shit in the 00's, I want my top down perspective metroidvanias already
>paying more than five bucks for indie games
Why do people do this? Games are priced by production values. It isn't hard to tell that NMS wasn't a AAA product. It isn't hard to see that these indie darlings at twenty bucks aren't AA quality games. Just fucking wait until they charge what their production values are worth.
>You are made of salt
>The lands converge
>The endboss is potentially more or less (You) from a previous cycle
>Play Dark Souls 3, which came out later
>You are made of ash
>The lands converge
>The endboss is potentially more or less (You) from a previous cycle
Hmm...
Newgrounds Souls
Play it for more than five minutes.
>basically becomes an Igavania
and that's a bad thing?
But which came first?
S&S
Not at all.
It's just annoying when people call it only a 2D remake of DaS while ignoring the other half of the game.
Game sucks ass, just like all games Sup Forums recommends.
>"I-it's a difficult game! You probably just don't like it b-because you can't play it!"
Difficult? Kek, as usual you shitters call yet another piss easy game difficult.
I tried my best to come up with a shit build that would make things challenging after breezing through the game the first time, but nope, there is no such thing as a shit build. Everything, and I really do mean EVERYTHING is overpowered.
Guns, poison, magic, two handed weapons, shields, everything.
I went bow only, since bows don't have much support and I barely hear about them, and the game was still a fucking joke.
Then, there's like 3 music 'tracks' in the game, all of which consist of like 3 guitar riffs.
Art style is good, but that's about all the praise I'd give it. The non existent difficulty brings the game down immensely.
Oh and yes, that's including New Game+. Fucking nothing actually changes, nothing is any harder.
I got stuck at some giant bird thing and stopped caring enough to beat it but it's a good game there's no glaring flaws that it has
Yup, From completely re-wrote the game in less than 9 days (Salt and Sanctuary came out March 15th, DS3 came out on March 24th in Japan) to copy a shitty fanfiction game.
Maybe they should have, maybe then DaS 3 wouldn't be the piece of shit it is.
pretty much the best 2D Souls git gud you retard.
knives are never overpowered, they're just shit.
The dev was one determined fucking shill when it came out, is mainly why.
The amount of raw effort he put into spamming Sup Forums with slightly edited pasta was actually kinda impressive for some indie fucker.
Shame, if only he put more effort into making things actually difficult I would have liked the game.
Like the game is easy throughout, don't get me wrong, but everything after the early game is just so much easier. It's so easy to get to a point in which you have too much recovery available, so much offense that you can drop a boss in mere seconds, and a bunch of utility shit out the ass as well.
I honestly felt like Symphony of the fucking night had harder difficulty spikes, which is just pathetic honestly.
It's a shame his games keep getting easier and easier.
The exact reason I don't like it is because it's so shamelessly "dark souls but in 2d"
there was one difficulty spike lategame in witch of the lake
but you likely have so much damage at that point that you'll just get lucky without getting gud
>interested in game, check out some footage
>player character looks like it was designed by a 13 year old Deviantart user
>stop being interested in game
Next time hire a real artist you cheapskate faggot devs.
