Pic related is what I would recommend, it is down to 5 dollars and is definitely a good bargain.
Pros:
Great atmosphere Good controls Great story Replayability Choices matter
Cons:
To short
I have 100% in 8 hours of playtime, it is a gem of a game on the sale it is on, not worth the full 20 dollars though.
What games would you recommend other anons buy?
Kayden Mitchell
The bit.trip complete set is 80% off right now for a set of 6 ace games.
Pros: Hard as nails Rewarding Good music Tells a fairly touching, minimalist story that doesn't get in the way of the gameplay
Cons: "Pixel shit" Indie Can be a bit TOO challenging - still haven't beaten the last level of the first game.
They're just good games senpaichi. Bit.Trip Runner practically birthed the genre.
Ethan Nelson
Nice one user, I hadn't heard of these before but it has peaked my interest. Bundles are cheap as fuck also, thanks.
Ryder Collins
LISA Inside
Lincoln Campbell
anyone can recommend me a twin stick shooter?
Easton Brooks
I tried to play it, and I just couldnt. The voice acting and characters were just too cringey
William Richardson
Great game. Played it twice to get both endings. Wish the game could have been longer though. Still, great game. Would buy at full price.
Lincoln Clark
I intensely examine every game I play to see whether there's any SJW shit, and I base my opinion of the game on it. Is there ANY SJW bs? If yes, then fuck that shit.
Joshua Carter
The later Geometry Wars. Furi?
Jaxson Brooks
Let me guess, there is an eceleb shitposting thread with 300+ replies?
Fucking cancerous memers
Fuck this trash board, god forbid we talk about videogames.
Jackson Ross
important question before I buy, I hope you can help me out:
Are there any bovine animals featured in this game?
Juan Allen
There is more than two endings user.
Jonathan Lee
Nuclear Throne is widely considered to be the best of the best.
Carson Long
Nope, no animals at all.
Mason Brooks
Think he means one of the "normal" endings and the NG+ one.
Isaac Adams
I thought the voice actors were pretty good, what did you find cringey about them?
Lucas Wilson
I know, the first ending I got was bad. The second was pretty good cuz I finally got Clarissa to like me. I heard there's an ending when Michael is alive. I also got the ending where Alex never goes to the island. I'd say I did gud.
Eli Johnson
>I drop games that may allude to opinions I don't agree with
So you get triggered?
Robert Green
theres this weird attempt to simulate natural dialog, but they all sort of talk over one another and sometimes its hard to tell who's responding to whom. While I didnt get more than 15 min into the game, I pretty much found all the characters to be insufferable.
Thomas Campbell
Yeah that's all the ones I know about, and of course the one you leave Clarissa.
Easton Cooper
I understand what you mean by the trying for the natural dialog and the characters talking over each other. That got annoying at times but definitely not reason to drop the game, for me anyway.
To each their own I guess, shame you didn't get to experience it all.
Blake Long
I can always go back to it, but Im kinda spoiled by stuff like KYR0, which Id actually recommend to you if you liked the format of Oxenfree.
Mason Sanchez
Top down puzzle game is it? Can't find it on steam.
Chase Roberts
That's a pretty shitty way of going about it, but that stuff bothers me too so I'll tell you. >no gay relationships >no shoehorning in social issues, it's only about coming-of-age and spooky ghosts
>appearances are the kind of hipstery stuff kids like nowadays (just LOOK at those gauges)
There you go, Sup Forums. The dialogue flips between natural and cringey sometimes, though. I liked it overall.
Christopher Miller
Kentucky Route Zero. It is amazing. Like the comfiest fever dream you will ever experience.
Nolan Myers
How have I not heard of this before? I might just buy this, thanks man.
Nicholas Mitchell
Dude. Just buy it. Now. Its literally like playing through a backwoods Appalachian dream-quest wrapped in three layers of blankets with an IV drip of warm whiskey. The whole game literally runs on dream logic: things happen that you would not have predicted, but for some reason it will make sense and not make you bat an eye.
