How do you feel about enemies having lifebars in the new Zelda?

I'm hoping this means the bosses will be more 2D-like. Vaati was much better than any final boss in 3D Zeldas

Just a necessary change due to the expanded options available to the player.

In old games you did the special thing to the boss, and then hit them with your sword, you didn't have 90 different weapons to do varying amounts of damage with.

Nothings more annoying than running into a giant boss in the woods and having no idea how much health it has. Health bar lets you know if you are prepared or need to run away.
For a hardcore game no health bar hidden bosses sounds amazing, but then someone would document it anyways so the element of surprise would be gone. Its bad of a casual games

Zelda doing great I guess.

>when we design games, we design them to appeal to all ages, which is why we always try to include a tutorial to basic concepts of our games. We received some complaints about Skyward Sword taking too long for the game to begin, but we include these so our games will be able to be played from anyone aged 3 to 103.

>ages 3 and up
>hardcore game
>literally made for infants

He's also the guy that said casual players are a pathetic bunch.
Pick and choose, shall we

>3
>infant

Just because your mother breastfed you when you were that old doesn't change the definition of the word infant.

Why did you direct this at me?

>and having no idea how much health it has
most zelda boss health are calculated by number of hits, while the boss fights themselves leave you with limited chances of the boss's vulnerability, and you can tell when a boss is getting weaker.

We actually have different weaposn with different damage modifiers this time around.
Life bars are a must

Why would this make it more 2D-like? There's little difference in the core mechanics of damaging bosses in either the 2D or 3D games, generally.

>Approach enemy, press the one sword attack button three times, kill enemy

OMfG new Zelda is so hardcore and tough! It's for us big boys now!

What is the point of this post?

who is saying that? fucking faggot

hate

Yeah because a strong attack is better than having an arsenal of weapons to fight with?

i dont know i think i was just explaining as far as i know the difference in zelda bosses and why you wouldn't normally need a health bar

You dont randomly encounter a boss while looking for frogs and half a heart left. Completely different gameplay design. The post isnt relevant.

ok sorry

But in most zelda games bosses are
>do "the thing" to stun the enemy
>hit the eye/weak point
>repeat 3 times
The bosses weren't fights, they were mini puzzles. This time it's different.

i know

>New Zelda! Now instead of never dying the entire game, you might lose a heart or two if you drop your pacifier!

What is this bait?

No Nitentoddler.
Enjoy your tablet and your game for 3-13 years old

All botw threads are filled with trolls that argue every single aspect of this game is shit

Its not even an argument over an aspect of a game. Its like a 16 year old is trying to bait a response.
