"Hi! Welcome to Gamestop!"

"Hi! Welcome to Gamestop!"
"Could I also interest you in one of the gayest collectibles on the planet, and annoy you with how proud of all the money I've wasted on these gay ass things!?

Seriously, what the fuck is it with them and these things?

>He still buys physical media
>Not even from Amazon

It's cheap trash that's easy to manufacture because it all uses the same base, and normies love to eat that shit. They think they're collecting valuable figures from garbage they like while not paying a lot of money for it.

>Imgur
>doesn't use greentext to quote
I don't know what your problem is OP, you're their target demographic.
People collect dumb shit, they always have and always will.

>He only "buys" Digital media

these shitty dolls are a forced meme.

>Come GameStop for first time ever
>Approach counter
>"Hello, can I help you?"
"Yes, do you have Steam controllers?"
>"Yes"
"Then I'd like to buy two, please"
>"Sure, one moment"
>Complete transaction and walk out with the product I came for

I don't understand the hate and the memes. The workers seemed pretty average for establishments of this sort.

I'm Irish and every American has to stop and talk to me and tell me how they're [lame percentile] Irish and their great great great Grandmother came over through Ellis Island. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Stop hanging around liberals embedded with identity politics talking points then

Why do people buy Funko Pop and why do they always leave the shit in the box? Everyone I know who has these displays like 40 of them as if they are the storage room of a store. Do people think these mass produced things everyone has will be worth money one day?

>don't have a clue about the use
>with some lubricant it fits

I don't think that's what they say

Might as well be.

Some of them do increase in value so about 1% of everyone's collection will be worth 30 dollars instead of 10.

These are trash but I have a few figs still in packaging, like the retro "kenner" style alien figure and the venture bros figs, the packaging is kinda part of the art.

I hang them on my wall between all my picture frames

but I still fucking hate these pop figures, mostly cause they're ugly as sin.

EB games/gamestop is not the same anywhere. I went to the EB games at my mall this week and literally 2/3 of the store is now dedicated to just board games, toys and funko shit. And then just 1 wall of the store is all the videos games. It's fucked up. It's like "come buy our nerd shit and board games that no one wants! oh uh yeah we have some uh games too"

why the fuck do you even still own and display them if you hate how they look? just throw them in the trash or give it to another retard who might like them

before I quit they want to change some stores to some thing called "lootstop"

>friends agree with me that these things are dumb
>they start working at Gamestop
>end up buying several dozens of them

Corporate brainwashing is a real thing

I swear I never even see people buy any of that shit. It's crazy how many retailers and people are falling tfor the funko meme. Gamestop is fucked. They're the next blockbuster

>every other store is selling these en masse
>every person collecting the garbage actually thinks they're going to be worth tons of money
>there's thousands of thousands of people collecting these literal memes that aren't going to be worth anything at all because so many other people are holding onto them

beanie babies 2.0. I mean yeah, theres gonna be some that might be worth some money cause there exclusives or whatever, but to think that they're all gonna be valuable? nah

>He thinks buying digital media is somehow better
>He actually believes he owns digital media

KEK

>amazon

price gouging faggots aren't what I want to buy from, user

Are you talking about the Gametraders in Parramatta? Because if so have you ever seen them sell any of those crappy posters?

They're cheaper than physical stores so I'd rather pay thirty bucks for a game instead of one hundred dollarydoos.

tfw I get games cheaper at gamestop than I'd get on amazon

same with a lot of other stores, too

I actually found a MM Link Nendo in a Gamestop while looking for Christmas stuff, it was a bit pricey at $45 but it's nice that they had them, I also asked the guy at the counter if they had any more and he said
>what's a nendoroid
while holding the box in his hands, so it was probably a holiday thing, a lot nice than funkos at least

vinyl figures use to always give hipster creed, but were very expensive
funkos give people that feeling of being hipster but were cheap and big
then that wore off, but it then became the new beanie babies

I don't understand why Pop gets so much shit and other chink-made collectibles don't. What's the difference with this specific brand?

the same moulds for literally everything, the dead, soulless eyes, the general lack of detail and bad paint jobs, they're barely below PAK level of shit and at least those have posable joints

The original price of that Nendoroid is about $35, so that doesn't seem pricey at all.
