Anyone?
>see game
>remember that I wanted to buy it
>check steamdb.info
>it used to be cheaper than it is now
every time
This good or trash?
Crypt of the NecroDancer is fun and difficult. That's all I can say. I haven't played the others.
Although I would like to know if Dishonored is worth buying without all the DLC. I heard the DLC is good so I guess I'll probably want it eventually. But is the DLC ever going to get cheaper? If not, I'd be better off getting the whole pack for $9.99 instead of buying the pieces separately for more.
trash
>Got about 40h in it
Good, very VERY old skool though, it's like a direct continuation of Fallout 2.
what are some good games to enjoy with the steam controller under 5$?
Downwell, Super House of Dead Ninjas, Dustforce
Every year I buy less and less stuff. This year I haven't bought anything and honestly I haven't even paid much attention. Steam sales are dead to me and not having fresh daily deals is what really killed it.
I want to buy a racing game for my wife that you can play with a gamepad.
Her laptop's specs:
Intel Pentium CPU N3530 @2.16 GHz
4 GB Ram
Intel HD Graphics
Win 8 64bit
That will barely run anything desu senpai.
i have £23 left is stellaris any good? also recommendations
I know, but I am still looking for something. It should be just racing, no destroying other cars or violent stuff.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
still pondering if I should get Disgaea or not.
Yes, and community is well alive andnot dead like Masters of Orion. Speaking about it, Im gonna boot up a new game of Stellaris.
Anybody here plays armello? IS it any good? And how is the online? Or should i not get it if non of my friends want to play it?
I felt the same until I realized that I just stopped buying cheap AAA games (either shit discounts or I had those I'm interested in already), but the Steam Sale is still good for indie games. As in, some of those games get discounted to prices that are no-brainers for a few hours of entertainment.
I don't need every Assassin's Creed or whatever, but a handful of indie games with interesting ideas and mechanics are always fun.
You don't need to "buy" Road Rash 95 nigga
Just get definitive, story DLC is good, and the challenge mode is decently fun, and has achievements.
Core game is somewhat interesting, developers are greedy fucks, DLC galore, the game itself is infested by furries.
>Masters of Orion
In master of orion you can be disgraced white-haired Khan Humans who seeks revenge on the Earthlings tho.
Postal is kinda bad. The shooting feels terrible and the joke wears thin very quickly.
Dishonred is great, but also very short and easy and extremely boring if you go for the stealth non-lethal approach because there are so little options for that and they're basically all just slower than killing everyone.
Crypt is bad if you want a roguelike, okay if you want a rythm game with combat. The actual roguelike elements are extremely dumbed down.
Farcry 3 has a so bad its funny plot, good gunplay and fun insta-kill based melee once you get the abilities. Its also about twice as long as it needs to be and you'll have all abilities worth getting before your halfway through making the rest an overly easy snorefest.
If you just wanna fuck people up and collect random crap, its one of the better games. Blood Dragon was recently given away for free, though, and is basically Farcry 3 with better pacing and better movement (in particular you don't die for falling 3 inches in it)
The hell happened to strangers wrath hd
Poster that first asked here. I can't swing the $10 right now so just hold off on it til next sale?
trash
either dishonored or FC3
So what would you recommend I buy for under $5 instead?
>dlc
Are the dlc cosmetics or something i really need to have in order to play?
>furries
I mean its a board game with furry animals in it so its to be expected but its a board game so i dont think that there is a voice chat or something?
Been considering it too. Not sure what the hell it is, though. Is it like Civilization but with a fuckable rabbit?
It's okay for the first part but is EXTREMELY tedious to replay, uses the same shitty engine as Shadowrun with the same exact shitty character models, and gets VERY slow midway through.
Wouldn't recommend it specifically because they used a 3D phone-game engine.
I've bought nothing this sale, but have managed to finished about 4 games from my backlog in December alone.
Now, Shadowrun Hong Kong, is it worth it? Lots of people are saying it's inferior to Dragonfall, so I'm a bit skeptical.
Or anything that you can play with a gamepad with that hardware that is not excessively violent (no FPS).
This. I only bought some Rocket League dlc.
Reposting.
good
r8
What is the best modern Assasins Creed? (after black flag)
>These winners
Awful, just awful.
I enjoyed Risk of Rain(You can pirate it and still play it multiplayer though), FTL and Dungeon of the Endless.
>Skyrim won test of time
jesus christ kids are fucking retarded
good. i played it for 50h or so on launch while it was still buggy. it's since updated with dev cut and stuff, highly rec it
Yup
you mad undertale didnt win anything, cuck?
Should I or I'm a faggot?
Not too surprising, with categories like "I thought this game was cool before it won an award," and admitting the awards mean jack shit:
>What do the winning games get?
>Eternal fame as winner of the first ever Steam Awards!
I'm mad about Skyrim winning over Age Of Empires II, but everything else is okay like The Walking Dead and great for Euro Simulator 2 winning that much.
Anyone want to trade me for these two cards?
If you could gift me a helldivers dlc for €1.5 it would be awesome.
i like syndicate but it's too easy compared to the others
unity has a bad reputation because of botched release but its good now
both have great historical settings
syndicate is better optimized and runs better
Drop KSP and Farming Simulator.
A bit to many management games senpai ? I wouldd be satified with just Cities Skylines if I were you.
I have all the games I ever wanted, PS4, PS3, Vita, a shit load of spare time thanks to holidays and I don't feel like doing anything, not even sleep or listen to music while browsing internet, not even rewatch the usual Christmas movies.
Thoughts on:
Pathologic HD
Tyranny
Darkest Dungeon
Deadbolt
Any of these worth the price? I played Darkest Dungeon some time ago when it was in early access and thought it was okay. Have they changed much significantly?
Only $5 at GameStop for physical copy. Comes with 1 & 2 for Steam.
just get cities skylines (you don't need the smaller dlcs though)
don't get kerbal space program and wait for a better sale on the others.
>Have they changed much significantly?
Difficulty has been raised considerably with some bullshit involving random heart attacks, or so I've read.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is Steam GOTY.
Bought Darkest Dungeon last night and having a blast with it, just slept 4 hours before booting it up again.
Tyranny looks to be better than Pilllars of Eternity, haven't tried it though, will buy it in the future.
Tyranny's discount isn't significant enough, the game has plenty of rough edges and the end is not all there, it should be at least 25% off to make up for the missing last quarter of the game.
Racing: Need for Speed Underground 2
Other: Stardew Valley, Don't Starve, Bastion/Transistor
>Transistor
Lolno. The game is surprisingly demanding. It's not for those specs at least.
I want to get Xenoverse 2 but it still seems awfully pricey
>CS:Go won "5 more minutes" over Civ 5, terraria, and Rocket league
>GTA V won "woah dude"
>GTA V won "game within a game" over W3 gwent, garry's mod, tabletop simulator
The steam awards were literally "BRO THIS GAME IS SO EPIC".
>two cards for 1.50
lmao
Anyone?
But other user said Dishonored isn't worth it without DLC. And does FC3 require Uplay?
Dominions in MP only basically
Doom is great
Exanima is still EA but looks fun, slow development though
House of the Dying Sun is fucking great but really short
Duskers is neat in concept but very niche
Killer is Dead is okay. Great design, shitty controls. Worth 3 bucks, but only as a last resort
Other games look like trash.
These are simulators/planners. They take time to get into and time to really shine. Get one of them. Drop the rest. There's always the Easter Sale coming.
Should I get this?
>>GTA V won "woah dude"
>>GTA V won "game within a game" over W3 gwent, garry's mod, tabletop simulator
Really? I didn't even see it was on the list, and I was sure about W3 winning game within a game.
I bought Shadow Tactics: Blade of the Shogun and I highly recommend it to everyone. Extremely fun game if you love commando
Is Subnautica worth $10?
Is Abzu worth $6?
What is Stardew Valley about? Do you just do farming or other things too?
popularity contest really
I'm pretty suprised by the winners as well. Terraria not winning a single title suprised me the most as it was nominated in so man categeories.,
Farming, management, organization. It's cute and fun, really. Very innocent, surprising amount of depth. Great music and charming graphics.
Also pretty good assets too, if you don't mind the accents not being all there
>stupid, stupid, stupid!
UI is incredibly well polished too.
Looking at winners, yeah. Basically the most known games on the list won.
Abzu is def worth 6 dollars. Bought it at 20 and thought it was reasenable. It's a pure walking"swimming" sim though.
>Is Subnautica worth $10?
I think so, the devs add content often enough to make you come back to the game
Should I buy Ray Gigant or Trillion: God of Destruction? Or perhaps Conception II?
>Killer is Dead is okay. Great design, shitty controls. Worth 3 bucks, but only as a last resort
The last fight is pretty awesome and almost makes up for the garbage aspects of the game.
You can be a weeb and listen to it in Jap
Suggestions for a game around €5?
Some of my favorite games are dark souls, gmod and fallout.
I've put it into my cart along with NFS Hot Pursuit. Thank you.
Now I need one more game that is not excessively violent and this time without pixel graphics.
Spiritual successor to harvest moon.
That term is overused but entirely appropriate here, where even the series creator acknowledges it as such.
>Trillion: God of Destruction
it's a spreadsheet & waifu simulator, little to no content I bought it physical on vita it still sting
i have 50 steambux anything I should add/remove?
why is skyrim 20 dollars
It's still there.
Are Battleblock Theater and A Boy and His Blob good?
"supply" but mostly demand
bought mass effect 1 and 2 and ass creed 2, not really enjoying mass effect desu
...
>Now I need one more game that is not excessively violent and this time without pixel graphics.
Any genre? Action, strategy, tactics, platformer, ... ?
battleblock
yes
even more fun in coop
>test of time
>skyrim
>whooaa dude
>GTAV ?????
i dont know why i expected it to not be shit.
thanks i'm gonna get
i didn't play abzu but subnautica is worth 10 as long as you get into it
focus on crafting the habitat builder ASAP so that you can get more storage and build the mini sub
Dead End Road
Is this any good?
>the steam award winners
I just remembered how much casuals have destroyed gaming as we know it
