HOUSE

Is it just the nostalgia or u2 was the best NFS?

GAS GAS GAS

I'M GONNA STEP ON THE GAS

It's nostalgia. It brought more setbacks than improvements from Underground 1. It's why I switched over to Midnight Club because that series was fundamentally designed for open world.

You know, funny you mention that. In western developed racing games, drifting has no, if any, advantage over steering normally, especially in normal conditions. But in Japanese developed racing games, drifting is the be all-end all of the game; nearly every Japanese game relies on drifting to either gain speed or to corner.

Is this the /o/ equivalent of 'Katana are superior to inferior gaijin weaponry'?

>nearly every Japanese game relies on drifting to either gain speed or to corner.

true, even mario kart.

why

This just came into my mind, but do you think Need For Speed Underground 1's story was inspired by Initial D?

And I just found out GRID straight up has Mount Haruna. Codies are such weeaboos.

One of the things I hated about NuNeedforSpeed was how barebones the customization was. They totally nailed the tune up performance but visual customization was total shit. The majority of cars had a grand total of 2 spoiler/hood options which looked almost identical and some of the cars DIDN'T EVEN HAVE custom parts for some categories. I.e most cars didn't had custom headlights or tailights. Basically the only thing you could actually customize in great detail was color and stickers

A KILLER ON THE ROAD

Its the best in the series. Although the best open world racing game will always be Midnight Club

I love how it doesn't even look like Most Wanted's M3 GTR

It was almost the perfect arcade racer, carbon and undercover could have been better but for some reason I don't remember them so fondly

Didn't even noticed it was supposed to be the same car desu, just a stock image I found at google.

>ricer city space trash
>best in the series

huh? if your favorite NFS isnt 3, High Stakes, or Porsche Unleashed you are the reason why NFS is dead.

Except Hot Pursuit 2 for PS2 made exclusively by Black Box is a high contender... oh wait you probably played the multiplat version by EA Seattle like a bitch.

you blind or what? theyre nearly identical save for the hood and paint. the correct hood is in the game though, not sure why they didnt use it.

i did own the PS2 version, it was just a highly repetitive game. If you played the first Hot Pursuit you played the 2nd one, except for some reason they removed car tuning in HP2.

dark blue versus neon eye rape blue
almost white silver versus dark silver
hoods are different
