Dark souls one

What do?

>level faith to 50
>get darkmoon blade/sunlight blade and wog
>use manserpent greatsword or large club as main weapon
>use fap ring, get rid of all the poise
>level vit from here on, maybe a couple points in attunement

I can't get darkmoon Blade. I killed the boss.

Sunlight blade will do, or you can always go NG+.

I have a Divine +10 claymore.

More Vit.

That's a pretty bad weapon, a manserpent greatsword with 50 faith sunlight blade on it will easily do 3 times as much damage.

More str

How far in the game are you?

That's not true at all.

Are you OP? You should look up what split damage is.

I've pretty much done everything except fill the lordvessel with souls. I power leveled in the forest. Trying to get to 120 for pvp, wanted to leave some bosses alive so I can host.

play a better game

Meta lvl is 125, you need those 5 extra levels for hp.

I know what split damage is. You're claiming a gross exaggeration. A manserpent greatsword with 50 faith sunlight blade on it will NOT do 3 times as much damage.

You're clearly emotionally baised.

No, it's120. 125 and he's overlevelled.

Nice try.

Well I assumed he'd be in a higher NG with that level, in which case it'd be true for stronger bosses. Twice as much damage is realistic for a lot of enemies in the game though.
This isn't 2012 guys, what the fuck.

Stop exaggerating dude.

Not exaggerating, we're talking 27str 2handed manserpent with 50 faith slb here.

>twice as much damage.

You've clearly never used divine Claymore on a 50 faith build.

You are exaggerating. At most it does 15% more damage.

I probably have at some point, 564 AR split between mag and phys is really not that great. If you have the stats for a +15 weapon and a buff there's no reason not to go for that instead.

But msgs + slb would have over 800 AR with those stats.

All this stuff is useless to OP anyways so w/e

Oh here, I just did a parry/ repost on a npc in the the Forrest and hit him for 1023 damage. I don't believe that any weapon would hit for twice that.

Until your buff runs out.

Yeah crits are still really good with elemental weapons, im talking about regular attacks on enemies with good defence.

Then the +15 manserpent would still be stronger. I don't really like buffs but with those stats you kinda have to. Or just wog it up idk

No one is saying it isn't stronger. We're saying you're exaggerating.

>3 times

It does way way more than 15% at least, and i absolutely worth using over divine clay which was the point I wanted to make.

Op, you should put 15 stats into Endurance so that you can ninja flip wearing Havel's gauntlets and leggings.

It doesn't.

Just because it does a little more damage on paper doesn't make it a better weapon. The Claymore has a much better move set.

>900+ AR vs 564
>not a lot more than 15%
you what
