I think playing The Sims is something that is only interesting once in a lifetime.
If you've played it before, no amount of new features or expansions will make it more interesting or recapture that original magic.
You install porn mods and live out your fantasies.
Sex
Somewhat true.
Look up WickedWhims.
imagine sims remake westworld vr version
you do shit like this

its a long read but it's worth it
or you make a painting goblin or something
>Make loads of sims
>Dump them all into a world
>Choose 8 favorite sims and play them as a household of roommates.
>Watch the game go like a sitcom.
Invested hundreds of hours into SIm 3 like this.
Also once you're an adult and have a bit more agency in your life, it seems strange doing things like having your Sim read books to improve their career when you could be doing that yourself and reaping real life rewards.
Kinkyworld, my good man.
The Sims is always a franchise I come back to.
This. Sims is for children.
Stay away from Live mode and play Buy/Build mode exclusively.
Plan ahead on what kind of character you want and disregard shit like progressing your career and shit like that.
Use a cheats if you want to
The more imaginative you are with your character the better.
Like you can make a psycho who has people chained up in your basement and shit
>start playing normally
>get bored after a while and use cheats
>get bored after a while and buy some expansions
>get bored after a while and just kill everyone
>get bored and play a real game
I'm died
Making huge families only consisting of red head girls, who each find a random man, and plop out their children, who'll become girls with the help of watermelons
Eventually the whole city is filled with red head girls and my dick will eventually be pleased
Customization and variety of setting.
Let people implement scripts and shit so I can run my own plantation full of whatever races I find deplorable.
This has been the case in my experience, my favourite Sims game was Sims: Superstar, I fucking loved everything about it, especially the soundtrack, but then Sims 2, 3, 4 came out and while I did enjoy those games to an extent, nothing ever came close to Sims Superstar.
I've given up on Sims.
Visual Novels are better video games than actual video games, anyway.
Ever try a legacy challenge? I made one and got like 2 generations in before I quit cause I had a tough time managing my 8+ sims and huge lot.
I ended up with 2 ghosts of the original family, their 2 kids and their 2 spouses, 2 grandkids one by each of the kids, 1 asexual black half brother, a wife for the male grandkid, and an unrelated brother sister duo who would have married the granddaughter and became the grandson's second wife. So I basically have 6 Young Adults, Four Old People, and the plans to have 3 babies from the young adults.
I have pretty shit house building skills. I originally made a small houseboat thing on my front lawn for the initial generation but eventually "upgraded" to a combination of a massive warehouse and a hotel and lodge that looked hideous. I'm redoing it now. It's too close to the sidewalk, the road and garage looks weird, my pool would be hideous, just nothing turned out like I wanted it to.
Turn their free will all the way down and create the maximum amount of Sims. That way it's more difficult to manage them all.
incest mods
hot
mummy...........
I always just do a rag to riches playthrough until I get bored, I bet there's a mod that makes it harder to actually progress through the career
>Make milf and teen son
>Get more enjoyment making them do family shit than actually fucking
