Hey Sup Forums, I'm going to be working some long and sleepless nights. I will be able to play vidya at work. I have previously ignored mobile games because the vast majority are trash p2w.
>Do you have any recommendations for mobile? >I won't touch in app purchases. I want a full game for a single price.
I've bought Bully Anniversary Edition as my first mobile game.
Go to sumo torrent. Search paid APK packs, get all the market games in a few gigs of compressed rars. Move them to the phone, enable off market apps under developer settings, and install whatever looks good. I don't pay for anything mobile, just torrent the apk's and call it done.
Also recommend installing some of the emulators as well, then grab some rom collections, all the Gameboy titles are about 10gbs, I use EPSX myself and play old PS1 games on breaks.

That is why I have ignored them. But it is better then nothing when all you have available to you is a cell phone.
Alright thanks for the advice. I wouldn't mind replaying/trying some new GBA titles.

I would get ppsspp and play psp games, the library is pretty nice. Much better than anything mobile has to offer.
The emulator itself is pretty lightweight too, it's made my wizards.

Do you have a tablet? And which phone do you have?
And if you're still working on march, i'd recommend to look out for the switch
Sebastian Adams
Alright, runs well?
John Davis
I have a Samsung Edge 7. No tablet.
I've been already eyeing up the switch. Has potential.
Jace Moore
I only tried a handful of games but they all ran really well on a somewhat old phone. Had to do some tweaking here and there but that is part of the package with any emulator really.

Smash hit.

Alright, good to know. I've never really dabbled with emulators. Have always had this weird obsession with physical copies.

Kotaku Bests is a good list
>inb4 mad GG assholes it's not a bad website
Daniel Sullivan
Well you'll never have physical copies of mobile games anyway.
It is a terrible website. Might have a good article here and there but overall the quality of articles is horrendous.

Wrote it down, i'll check it out.

Hey OP, I work late night shifts as security for a hospital, 95% of the time I'm sitting around doing nothing, we're not able to bring in laptops so I have to turn to my phone for entertainment, I picked up this awesome blue tooth controller for my phone and downloaded a fuck ton of emulation and now my nights are a lot more fun
Well the basics are there. PVZ is actually a good game. You can play PVZ2 completely without any payment, it's just going to be VERY challenging.
Asphalt 8 is pretty good and has good music, models and is fun in general. Again, you can play it for free and never pay, it's just going to take you a while to unlock the cars you want.
Kingdom rush is my favorite mobile game, but is better to play with a bigger screen(like pvz)
Emulators are a definite must. The S7 can probably run a DS emulator without problem lookfor DraStic and for the APK or just buy it. And You can get a MyBoy Full APK for free and it's thhe best option for GBA games.
Good luck user. I'm hypefully waiting for the switch. The resolution and 3D gimmick of the 3DS really kill it for me
James Adams
That looks pretty awesome, depending on how often I will be working nights I may have to pick it up.
Wrote those down. Thanks user.

I've played and highly recommend Battle for Wesnoth, Romancing SaGa 2, and emulators. Generally only TRPGs (e.g. Langrisser II) and turn based tactics (e.g. advance wars) games on emulators because touch screens suck for video games. Stay away from "mobile games" as in games developed for phones; they're not inherently bad but they are all bad.
Have any of you guys tried using a DS emulator on a phone? I'm curious how the touch screen works, I think there are some DS games that only use the touch screen so they should be playable on a phone or tablet.
