0.51% because I looked up how to manage Gurumin's bugged achievements before doing Hard, and that's not nearly the rarest of the lot.
I stopped ordering them by rarity since most of the rare ones are just parts of bundle games that people own but never install or boot up.
I'm guessing a lot of it comes down to people not wanting to do Hell again after achievements were fixed, people not knowing SAM exists, or Steam is 99.9% pleb
EU4 It's pretty easy
I am the 0.8%
itt: you should kys
...
wow it's fucking nothing
cucked
...are you guys even trying?
Nobody plays fucking ironman it seems.
It does take a decent amount of grinding to beat Prinny Baal
Yo Season 3 when?
>he thinks achievements are rare when people can SAM their way to getting anything
The biggest turn off for me is the constant autosaving that takes you out of the game every minute or two.
I have that too but I didn't want to have an outdated hotmail account as username so had to make a new account when they changed the system. Feels bad.
This one, I only think it's that rare because it's tedious as fuck and the game is so easy there's never a reason to imprison anyone.
I kinda wish steam would only show one achievement per game because it's kinda boring only having two games there.
At least it's not the fucking goat simulator achievements that I had there for several months I guess. Did anyone even play that game or just buy it for the meme value? The achievements weren't even hard and I got them within the 20 minutes I bothered to play
dustforce SS

Now you've got me thinking about actually looking at achievements and going after one.
Don't fuckin post your shit if you can't beat the high score.
That .07% of this man.
how do you get this showcase thing
I know, not too impressive
You can pick it as your first major level-up bonus after creating enough badges
>comparing mmo grinding vs actual skill

0.51 because nobody tries to open the safes but me on Stealing Xmas.
Cartophile isn't even that hard, there's no reason for it to be so rare. Leaps and Bounds (the one directly to the right) was actually something I was proud of but it's only .45% instead.
If people can SAM their way to anything, then any achievement legitimately earned should technically be rarer than Steam says it is, making it even more impressive.
This thread isn't about skill, it's about the rarest achievements.
I still have that hotmail account username.
>tfw you reset your achievements in tf2 so you can get them again
>you've already done this 3 times now
Only because nobody cares about Challenges in New Vegas.
...
I have a rare Nosgoth achievement.
A whopping 1% of players have the achievement, HOWEVER, the game has been shut down so no one else will ever get it
Is there an easy way to check besides going through every one of my 500 games?
All my rarest achievements are for Nosgoth...
edit your profile, scroll to the bottom, check the rarest achievement showcase
How recently were the achievements fixed? This is the last achievement I would need for 100%
...
0.03%
I didn't think this one was rare.
the strands were REALLY hidden out of the way. strand 7 wasnt even the hardest for me to find. it was that one with the hay bales. i enjoyed mushroom 11.
is blacklight:retribution even around anymore? cant imagine only .54% of people would have the mechanic achievement if it was,
>tfw you suck at dustforce
I know that feel bro
RIP
is there a way to check the rarest achievement available to you from games you have?
Always at the left from the showcase
I never even got to try out the new character. I saw they added one and was like oh cool I'll come back and check it out when I'm not so busy.
Then a few months later it was just gone.
>valdis story: no time for prayers
huh don't even remember doing this.
but I do remember beating the game when there was no invincibility moment after getting hit.
game was fucking broken.
Not him, but thanks m8
Not on the computer right now but probably the beating all grandmaster levels on one finger death punch
The worst part is it serves as a monument to how bad Dead by Daylight has become. I got it three days after the Hag came out. Why? Survivors realized they can invalidate her by simply just running around the map. She cant chase for shit so she cant catch them so they just run around popping everything making it impossible to control the map.
It REALLY angers me that the devs for what ever fucking reason decided DBD needed to be an Esports game. I mean what the fuck.
I got mad and gave up on the game when I beat the mines and everything collapsed and I found out I could never go back and collect the stuff I missed in there. Fuck that shit.
I won't count the Shantae ones because I'm positive it has less players than L4D2.
Man for as much as LoK fans were understandably upset by the game, it was fun.
I've never really understood whether the game was canned because it wasn't profitable or because the devs went and made rocket league
Who's /masterofstrategygame/ here, Sweating ball while completing this, can't capture any city, economy go to shit, field more than 2 full stacks bankrupt you, Frog's doom stacks keep on coming and coming, have to sacrifice a whole army as a decoy to flank their last settlement. The Duke of Wellington conquer all
Probably wasn't very profitable.
Also I never played LoK before playing Nosgoth so I enjoyed it for what it was. I actually went back and played the whole series afterward thinking I'd appreciate the lore more, only to find it had hardly anything to do with it. Good series nonetheless.
Meh, not THAT rare, but it is by far my proudest achievement.
HUE
pretty easy to get, but I guess nobody plays the setup/circumstances enough
You are like little babies, watch this
I think this one
Sorry there's nothing on the left of my showcase on my profile? I mean like a list of 'the rarest possible achievements possible to achieve in the games you currently own' type thing?
Less players usually means higher achievement completion percentages, since casuals don't bother with them.
Literally impossible to get anymore, game was removed from steam.
youtube.com
its fake though >:(
should be able to check the achievements on the game page, then click global statistics.
My rarest is actually a Marvel Heroes achievement. In fact, all but one are Marvel Heroes achievements. Guess a lot of people don't play it through Steam.
But the rarest one I have that people can't even get anymore is this. Mancake. From Nosgoth. Kill the entire enemy team with a single Tyrant jump. I wish I was recording when I did it, it was the best time I ever had playing that game. I'll miss it.
I'm assuming you went into the TC and got the 60 orb. No one can force themselves to play MH that much.
I'm disappointed, it's not even all that fucking hard.
I really like Marvel Heroes... I've never used the test center, either. The first spider-man one is doing Bronx Zoo with Spider-man... .30% of players...
All these Nosgoth friends.
;^)
Makes me miss the game even more, man. I've found nothing like Nosgoth.
How in the fuck
...
A lot of people I know play CK2 with mods, and you can't earn achievements like that because of the checksum.
>i took it like a champ in the ass for 13 years
good on ya son
Can't be helped.
Elaborate.
me 2
Only just got it yesterday after playing this game obsessively since buying it in the sale
I really like Furi
>ironman
fuck that. I play to fuck around.
Half of these are only rare because they're from unpopular/literally dead games. The expert clear from PoE did surprise me, though, since it's such a trivial thing.
That's the level with all the Nazis and Communists fighting each other.
Damn
9 years here
user please
I got plat on Let it Die, says it's a 0.00% acheivement still on psn.
Very few people will ever plat that game, I would be suprised if it ever gets over .05%
>rarest achievement is 1 percent
>got steam in 2012 fall
>didn't really get into steam until 2016
damn lads I'm going to make 2017 the year I get those achievements and stop filling my steam library so fast.
Wasn't even that hard to get.
Go to your profile and show the actual percentage you spongelord
The one beside it is 0.12% but much harder to get
Core-fu doesn't seem like much of a fun one
I got Sons of Carthage before they decided to make Tunis fuckhuge
I'm
It was easy-fuckin'-peasy. The only difficult part was getting independence. After that it was just a couple wars with the Ottomans.
I haven't tried playing as Tunis yet. I'll either play Kuba or Candar next.
how much money did you put in
Only .33%
But of course, one thing to consider with these achievements is it's X% of the total population.
An achievement at 1% on a game owned by 100,000 people is the same as a .1% achievement on a game owned by 1 million people.
...
yeah, this isnt even a particularly difficult thing to do.
just playing SA in the new (((expansion))) pretty much forces you into doing this
whats with all the grand strategy in this thread?
n-not that I mind or anything, its nice to see that other people enjoy these kinds of games
Father Ted was such a great show.
0.04%
>But of course, one thing to consider with these achievements is it's X% of the total population
If that really is the case, it's fucking retarded. What's the point of even showing the percentage if they're rendered completely meaningless?
