ITT: We recommend games based on each poster's phobias. I'll start.

I recently developed a very specific phobia. It's essentially the idea of being trapped inside a pipe that progressively narrows to a point where you can't go down any further, but it's too crowded to be able to climb up the pipe, and too slippery anyway. Water constantly comes down the pipe and you're forced to take it in your face, trying not to let any water get in. Progressively, the bottom of the pipe starts to fill with water, but the water doesn't come all the way up, just to maybe chest or neck-height. At that point, you're struggling to breathe as water keeps coming down, but the water level remains the same. In addition, no one can hear you and no one knows you're in the pipe, dying a slow death.

Also, I have phobias of being alone in the darkness and the deep sea.

I'm afraid of heights

I used to have dreams as a kid where I traveled through sink and shower drains, scared the fuck out of me because I felt like I'd never be able to get out of them after I somehow got into them

Metro 2033/Last Light and STALKER series.

What's going on here?

I had this.

I feel it'd be worse if you were headfirst, and could only see further down the pipe.

im super claustrophobic and deathly afraid of infinity/any kind of afterlife

dragons dogma kinda triggers the latter

pipe loves crab

I recently got a fear of humans running really fast on all four legs(is "running on all fours" grammatically correct too?)

I don't have a game, but a nice gif

I have a specific fear of the idea that people are listening to my thoughts. I'll suddenly realize someone is sitting next to me, and I'll think "If you're listening, tap your nose" or something like that.

I usually realize how stupid that sounds a few seconds after but it's a regular occurrence.

This pipe was made for me!

>Also, I have phobias of being alone in the darkness and the deep sea.

Subnautica

yes, both are correct

I was paranoid like that once. Now I honestly don't give a fuck if mind reading actually exists or not. I'm already doomed to a life of loneliness, why would I care what some stranger thinks of me?

How does this make you feel?

I'm scared of bees and unnatural styles and stuff

This makes my ribs cringe

social situations

I want to fuck that butt.

did she poop herself too?

It is a nice butt.

if that's your phobia I recommend not reading that Amiga fault manga.

DDRRRR DRRRR DRR

Cutting pipe creates vacuum. That crab got pulled in and torn to pieces.

NEEEEBBY

I HAVE FOUND YOU

COME INTO MY BAAAAAG

People tend to do that when they die user

my sides

I have fear of spiders.

Delta P is a heluva drug

I have a fear of things coming towards the camera unexpectedly.

Slipping on ice. Heights.

Escalators. Fucking mall escalators. I always take the elevator or the stairs if available.

Let me guess, those webms and videos from China got you afraid of escalators, didn't they.

Batman: Arkham Knight.

Super Smash Bros.

...

i was about to post that. not gonna lie, that vid fucked me up for a while

But user thats cute

I got my shoelace stuck in one when I was a tyke, and now it's an irrational phobia that I know better than to have.

Also my favourite game with escalators is Elevator Action Returns.

youtube.com/watch?v=5dDu9wCjyRk&t=200s

I have a phobia of people dying from explosive compression. Vid related.

To be fair, it's less likely to happen in the West. Especially if you're in America, where a mall would get its asshole stretched sideways if something like that happened to someone.

That's understandable. I'd get scared too under that circumstance.

NOPENOPENOPENOPENOPENOPENOPE

My irrational fear is that something is an inch away from my face when I'm trying to sleep but disappears when I open my eyes.

I've gotten enough control over it to realize there's nothing there, but I was afraid to type this in case in legitimizes the fear. But if I didn't it would have power over me.

Which would be scarier: being trapped in a small alcove in a dark cave, or being trapped in a small alcove in a dark aquifer?

You both need to play this game.

Tiny enclosed places, the open ocean, heights, and earthquakes.

My irrational fear is imagining my balls being crushed. I imagine I'm tied to a chair and some chick puts them in between a nutcracker and gently squeezes until they rupture. It's not even remotely erotic though.

SEA SNIPPER NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

why is this picture so fucking creepy?

OutLast: Whistleblower is about as close as what you're going to get. Other than that, there's plenty of erotic MUDs where I'm sure that can occur.

can someone post the nutty putty cave article or whatever it was?

Also my phobia is going insane and not realizing it.

10/10

based on your image, my friend, I would have to recommend you honey select. your dick will be that succ, I guarantee it

Because the realistic style, coupled with the believable expressions of each of the characters, makes it seem like they're directly looking at you through the fourth wall.

I actually just thought of this scenario a few days ago while playing Silent Hill 4.

Imagine, you're going down that hole and all you see is TV static on one end that is your only means of a light source. And when you're crawling down that hole is starts to get tighter and tighter, and when you start to have doubt about proceeding the rest of the way and start to move back, it feels even tighter than when you first started proceeding down the hole.

It's funny because I have the opposite fear because of a recurring dream I used to have as a kid. I'm terrified of wide open spaces, like warehouses and open fields and being alone on them. In my dream I was being chased by someone in a huge warehouse and that is why I have a fear of being chased and wife open areas.

I'm afraid of the unknown, being surprised, large bodies of water, and falling from large heights.

Do your worst.

its not really something im SCARED of per se
but it really gets to me when im playing a game and its all revealed that everything ive been doing is a part of something much larger that i have no control over, those sorts of horror games are the best

One time I was playing Sonic 1 and the game glitched out and I hit the sky and died.

I used to be terrified of looking at the sky thinking I'd fall up and have nothing to grab onto.

How has this not been posted in this thread? too lazy to dump the whole thing...

It was made just for you OP!

>looking at you through the fourth wall
speaking of, that is my irrational fear, especially when they do it in games or when you don't expect it

>pic related

>"Anón, why ar' you always so quiét?"

>"Stop looking at my cat like that you freak"

Jesus Christ

there was another vid, where they showed a workaround many people of china apply on the daily basis when dealing with escalators. you could use that.

Siren (Forbidden Siren) PS2.

It's very cryptic but they have some great enemy design and that's one of them, a spider monster that runs on all 4's and those monsters come back to life much quicker than the other monsters. Great horror game but very cryptic and repetitive sometimes.

Suffocation, strangling, any cause of hypoxia.

If you ever feel yourself spooked by this, just remind yourself that it would take days or weeks of continuous stretching for your neck to elongate at all. More than likely, he'd just get stuck and die over the course of a week from dehydration.

You'll love subnautica, user

>he'd just get stuck and die over the course of a week from dehydration
That's very comforting to know

Any online game that requires a mic

I have a fear of unexpected jolting.

The giant pigs of Bloodborne.

Are you talking about Manbat?.

Well, I mean, this is the alternative

Fuck

Literally any lightgun game.

>Trapped inside a pipe that progressively narrows

Fuck off op. I don't have this as a phobia, but for my entire life I've had this nightmare where I was stuck in the situation you described.

That one time they put a screamer on /x/ fucked me up, but ever since I fear one day it might happen to Sup Forums

You can't even put screamers on a board with only muted webms, though. Your fear is irrational.

Fuck, man. I'm not even scared of screamers. I'm just scared of being so anxious that there could be one coming up.

You should read the enigma of amagari fault op.short story about human shaped holes that appear on the side of a mountian and have an allure that guides people to a hole just their size.

>reading this whole comic

Well, it's not like I needed to sleep tonight or anything.

Anything like it, with humans being deformed into similar monsters?

I learned to suss them out the hard way user. I still remember my first screamer, it was one of those old ones where they play a song with the lyrics scrolling up the screen, and bust it out in the middle. Ever since i've learned the "warning signs" that there might be a screamer, and haven't been surprised in at least 4-5 years.

>mfw the last screamer to 100% catch me off guard were those wailing guys in that dungeon area of DS3. Had my sound turned up and everything.

Uzumaki or half of Junji Ito's other works.

Uzumaki, gyo, tomi or any of the junji ito anthology

I own this manga and have read it a bunch but fuck man does Junji Ito make me cringe hard as fuck some times.

It's worse than gore threads at times.

I thought they were dead by the time they reached the other side, though.

Agoraphobia, athazagoraphobia.

Fuckin' Ito man. What is it with horror creators like him and Stephen King that make them unable to create endings?

It's a big fault with horror as a genre. You can make something very scary, but usually the finale of that horror pales in comparison to the buildup and dread of the reveal.

Yeah im still not really sure how i wanted uzumaki or gyo to end but what we got was pretty dissapointing especially with how good theyd both been up to that point

...

>yfw you hear those screams of terror in the vid once he realizes he fucked up

MR. CRABS NOOO!

post video

wasps and needles

that sounds awful

did the guy die

you asked for it
youtube.com/watch?v=SKZFv1cFonk

he doesn't die, he makes it by a few cm, but if you watch the video you can hear him going "MMMMMMMM! MMMMMM!" just before he hits the water because he thinks (for good reason) that he's about to splatter against the rocks

I hate insects. Moths, Roaches, Flies, but especially Crickets. I fucking hate Crickets, seeing one makes me wince. I'm scared to even go in a room where I know a Cricket is.
Look at this creep and tell me it didn't crawl out of Satan's anus.

I'm scared of flowers and pretty much anything that resembles a flower. There was a point in my life where I wouldn't even eat bananas because the peel would look like a flower.

ive got the game for you
youtube.com/watch?v=nJam5Auwj1E

lmao jesus christ thats scary. I'm glad he lived

im afraid of being forcibly curled tight into a ball. It comes from an experience i had as a kid where my brother rolled me down a hill in a tire, i fell out and started tumbling so hard that i rolled into a ball so tight my dick entered my ass
