WAKE UP
What are the best stats to level up?
Played all the dark souls game and usually do a dex build. Is it similar?
framerate literally hurts my eyes
i'd probably like the game but you console cucks shitpost so hard i say fuck you
Threaded cain a shit.
GRAB A BRUSH
HAPPY NEW YEARS
There's only six stats in the game, so every build is exactly the same
This game is all about speed.
The best thing to do is focus either STR or DEX and BLD or ARC as secondary if you care about being both PvE and PvP viable.
Sequel never ;_;
First playthrough up vit to 50, stamina to like 20 max and then start pouring points into dex or str depending on your weapon. blt and arc are harder to exploit unless you know what you're doing
When is a good time to do the Old Hunters DLC? I'm on my first playthrough.
WAKE UP IT'S TIME FOR BREAKFAST
Skill, strength and/or arcane,
Vitality isn't super important since you can rally(attack immediately after being hit) to recover health and you have pretty much all the stamina you need from the beginning.
Blood tinge is difficult to use but it's pretty good as well when paired with the right weapon and play style.
Vitality, Endurance, and Strength or Skill depending on what you want to use.
No idea why I made it sound like getting vit to 50 before upping skill or str was a good idea. Belay that.
Endgame or New Game+. Supposed to be 60-70.
i found maria to be the weakest of all the bosses in the dlc
As soon as it's available, if you're a difficulty fag
I did it around the time I started the dream world shit, right after the one reborn, and had a HELL of a time
Oh, and the best DEX weapon in the game is the rakuyo, but goddamn if it ain't a pain in the asshole to get
I was in the middle of calling you a retard in a matter of words.
Most of the Old Hunter bosses are fucking excruciating, so it's a bit high of a bar to reach.
Pretty enjoyable, though
It isn't that hard when you learn to parry. But regardless, fuck the whales. They hit insanely hard.
Skill and strength. Skill is broken and by far the most useful. It depends if you're more into PvE or PvP. Bloodtinge is basically playing hard mode but they are the most annoying in PvP. Skill works for both. Arcane is used to look flashy, and works way better in PvE.
Why would you want 20 stamina?
Why not keep it at 15?
Stamina goes up super fast in this game, and there is even a rune that boosts it by 20%.
Adding 20 seems silly, because why are you rolling around so much?
Is skill the same as dex? What is skill?
>PvE
Meant to say PvP.
It's dex
SOMEONE WAKE HER UP PLS
WAKE UP, IT'S TIME FOR BREGGFEST.
-Moves hand slowly towards her-
hey
WAKE THE FUCK UP YOU DUMB SLUT OR I'LL GET THE PIZZA CUTTER
WAKE UP
Newfag here:
Is Rakuyo something you could conceivably get via kiting?
I'm playing for the first time and building around skill, and while I'm only up to Amalia, my threaded cane's damage has fallen off HARD as of reaching the cathedral area. It's taking like 2-dozen hits to kill the kidnapper sack faggots, and that's at +3 with gems; I could invest more but I'd rather save my twin-bloodshards for something I'm gonna keep.
>save my twin-bloodshards
>save
>twin-bloodshards
>this entire post
Jesus christ I dont even remember when I was this new to BB.
Also
>getting the Rakuyo by kiting
No, the Rakuyo is only available after you kill two infamously hard enemies (and you need to kill 3/5 of the DLC's bosses to get to the area where it is)
...
Dude, blood shards and twin blood shards drop like hotcakes. I've got 99 of the first, and about 67 of the second and I haven't even done any grinding for them.
You have to kill all the man-whales to get it
Anyways, look for the saw spear in the rafters near the hoonter of hoonters, right above the giant rats. That's your go to initial skill weapon
Eventually, I branched out to reiterpalache (gunsword rapier) as my non dlc skill weapon. It's in cainhurst castle, which is easy to miss on your first blind run.
Rakuyo is best skill weapon if you care about min maxing, otherwise I liked reiter more
Threaded Cain is fail and aids
Jamming this up Ludwigs asshole is one of the most satisfying things in the game.
No, just wait till you see the fuckers it's kill in the face or die
the wan wan ends here

WAKE UP MARIA!

...
Do you have a not shit version
DELET THIS
DO NOT BULLY
Maria has a stupid feather
Why is everyone so mean to Maria-chan?
>puffy vulva
Everytime.
she's a dumb, no-good vampire who made Gehrman sad.
Str, arc, vit, end.
PURGE.
Str weapons are fun and look awesome
Arc spells and weapons are fantastic from a lore perspective, as well as certain spells just trivialising 95% of the game including a number of bosses
>tfw you fell for the str/arc holy moonlight sword
It's so fucking bad
If you ain't spinnin...
... your name isn't Maria the Edgehog
someone post that webm of helico-maria
It comes down to the requirements of the weapon you want to use, and then build upon those. Aside from that, i would add that the choice between HP and green bar is up to how good your reflexes are.
Want to be a big cheaty cheaterface?
Str, end, vit.
In that order.
Get the Huntin' axe.
SPIN
2
WIN
She turned everyone into blobs.
Healing Church or Cainhurst?
Just beat the game today, did I just go through all of it only to realize the hunter pistol is worse at parrying than the blunderbuss?
not really, ït depends on your playstyle
the pistol is faster
I fapped to this.
Battleborn

>ARC
I've read Arc does jack shit for physical attack, despite the trick weapons showing they have some sort of Arcane scaling.
bump
Literally anyone else. Both are shitheads
>the right weapon and play style
rest in piece mega death canon
trick weapons have arcane skaling for when you put fire, bolt, and arcane gems on them. not worth it anyway imo. only the ones that specifically benefit from arcane without needing gems that change all the stats to an element or arcane dmg are worth it.
>only the ones that specifically benefit from arcane without needing gems that change all the stats to an element or arcane dmg are worth it.
Like what?
Tonitus
Flamesprayer
Misty Watering Can
Holy Moonlight Sword
Wheel 'n' Deal
Squidfingers
Flaming Saw Spear that is, Saw Spear with fire gems in it [absolutely kickass]
Ludwig's Holy Blade [kinda]
Spells in general [super worth it]
A couple more, i think.
Arc is perfectly viable, as long as you're able to get yourself through the first 1/4 to 1/3 of the game.
