Same here honestly except Ultra
stalker soc about 15 times
most of the mods are outright autistic so I still keep it base game w/ bugfixes only
Witcher 2.
I hold Ultra in the same regards, if not just a tad bit higher considering the new modes.
arx fatalis
Legend of Dragoon.
I didn't have many games growing up. I wore out the first disk I got, then went through like 4 copies of the "cursed" special edition or whatever it was called before I found one that got me past disk 3.
Now I just emulate it every year or so.
You're not a real gamer until you've maxed out every addition.
DA:O, Mass Effect 2 and Witcher 3 in the future.
windu waika and bamham city
I don't know, Billy.
No game ever cucked me as hard as Dolores cucked you.
I don't have one in particular, but I keep coming back to God Hand, Kirby SS and Dark Souls 1
Used to be Morrowind too but I haven't played it in 4 years in the hopes my hymen will grow back so I can pop my cherry again with OpenMW.
>arx fatalis
Patrician
>Witcher 3
How many playthroughs do you have?
Mega Man X.
No mans sky
The maze not for you
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
X-COM: UFO Defense
System Shock 2
Metal Gear Solid

Castlevania SotN
I meant i prefer Ultra when i said that, i still like the original a lot though.
Mah nigga
You know the rules, be the first one of 2017 to stream it.
these bois
I just upgraded from 760 to 1060 just so I could replay Witcher for the fourth time with extreme graphic mod settings. I still dip into 30fps, but I see detailed trees across continents.
>westworld isnt real
>an irl red dead redemption mmo wont exist in your lifetime
thats pretty much all i could think about while watching it
Psychonauts. Something about the finding the colorful characters around the campgrounds while listening to that mellow music.
Thought I don't know if it counts as "coming back" because I never really leave
good ol nap wars
My childhood game, at least once a year.
are they making the second game? I seem to vaguely remember seeing art from it with tumblr noses
Legend of Dragoon was probably the first game where I got genuinely invested in the story as a lad. I still remember my sister and I getting really broken up over Lavitz dying.
It has a lot of classic fantasy tropes, but the world still felt creative looking back. And the idea of an adventure spanning four disks absolutely blew my mind as a kid.
Tales of Legendia. Plan to play it again very soon.
Hmmm, I was thinking of buying a 1060 for playing Witcher, does it dip during combat or when just wandering around the world? Upgrading from consoles so I want to experience the butter-smooth 60 fps.
Yeah, honestly I think the old cartoony style translates over pretty well.
Nice choice!
But I have to add is Nightmare Creatures.
Crysis
LBA 2
is Nightmare Creatures as good as I remember it?
Max payne 3
DD:DA too bad the story's linear.
every other year or so, its another Realistic pacifist run
Never played Deus Ex, do you reccomend me doing something before I play it? Does it hold up well in this age?
>mfw another 200.6% run
I can beat it in about an hour and a half if I rush. I only get hung up on two puzzles, but they're just time-consuming ones.
The day I get tired of this game is the day I stop living.
>Playing the game for years to unlock the true ending
Not that guy, but it is. I still play it from time to time on my N64 and it's great. One of the few hidden gems of that console.
user, I have such nostalgia goggles on I replay it with no mods but I do suggest looking up the ones that fix up the game/tweak the graphics.
Also play it in the right mood. Its super engrossing and immersive if you allow it to wash over you
It holds up real well, I've played it around four or five times, and each time I find new areas and ways of completing sections.
The mechanics themselves feel awfully clunky today, but there's still a ton of enjoyment to be had just from how broad an experience it is.
If you make it to China and don't have the feel for it, then give up.
I am not sure you understood what I was saying. When you go all ultra (max settings) with the nvidia hair, you will still be looking at 60fps with occasional dips in low 50s. If you turn off the hair or turn shadows or foliage to High (second best) you get stable 60fps.
I downloaded mod that add 3 new higher settings for graphics and I get average of cca 48fps with occasional dips to low 30 in oxenfurt forrest.
It dips just exploring, combat doesnt affect it at all.
Here is comparison imgur.com
Dracula X chi no rondo on PCE
Or
FF8 PS1
Or
Metal Slug 1 on AES
Dead spcae 2
is the playstation version equal in performance?
>the first time you realize you can save Paul
is there any greater vidyah feel?
Remember when Logan stabbed that guy in the hand for interrupting his dinner with a side quest?
Binary Domain
I actually did on my very first run, but even when I had somehow wiped out everyone raiding the hotel I was left with barely any health, and died a few minutes later. No matter how many times I reloaded I couldn't pull it off again.
On my next playthrough I just took the GEP gun and that was that.
Are you me? I'm literally doing the same, except I get tired of pacifism about 50% in and just kill the everloving shit out of everyone; it's not like it actually matters anyway.
Get DeusExe for widescreen support, DX10 renderer for AA/AF and turn on classic lighting.
You may also use New Vision for better textures and HDTP for higher poly 3D models (their character models are absolute shit though).
Nothing gameplay altering for the first run though.

such a fantastic game. i recently played the genesis version and it's pretty fucking solid too.
Rome Total War. Even though it is full of bugs I have worked out how to play around them. Every year or so I binge it for a couple weeks(right now), playing as Greece this time.
My friend and I only managed to beat it once as kids. It was a trip.
>i actually made that edit of that scan, photostopped magazine text and other shit
>it's now uploaded and watermarked by some wallchan site
Why the fuck do people watermark shit they didn't even make and ruin it? I intentionally removed all that shit in the first place to make it poster material.
StarCraft wings of liberty, i hate the story but the for some reason missions and gameplay really appeal to me.
all prince of persia games
fuck reading that post gave me urge to install that shit all over again
Everquest.
the genesis version? it's neat that it adds different areas and bosses; almost like a completely different game. i just enjoy that the genesis version has a more solid hit detection; attacks feel like they have weight. though, snes version will always be the best personally.
Majora's Mask.
I keep telling myself that I'll speedrun it, but every time I take it slow and 100% it.
>that feel when people on Sup Forums think you're an edgelord because Warrior Within is your fav
Ogre Battle 64
I have a problem.
I haven't played it since this console gen came out and dragged me away from my 360, but I've replayed Dead Space more times than I can count.
I think I'll do it again when my GPU, motherboard, and PC case finally arrive.
The gameplay was pretty damn solid. So was the music.
They just took a one way trip to sucksville with everything else.
Recently I started up Sands of Time to keep my nephew occupied for a little while and we ended up marathoning it for the entire day.
