I remember playing Red with two pokemon. One is a fainted starter pokemon, and other one is Oddish that only knew some HP draining move and self-status move. I got stuck in a battle with some trainer that had only one Oddish with the exact same moves.

I couldn't get out, unless if I restart the fucking game.
