once
bought a hat from tf2 store when it first opened
never again
Yes
Because pre-paid phones are full jewery and require me to add funds to my account every few months even if I never use them up so I got to spend this shit on something
Not anymore though, for obvious enough reasons
I bought the mgs3 camo for mgsv and the elin swimsuit in tera online.
Very hard purchases for me but I couldn't help it.
I bought the classic suit for Mr. Foster in KF2 because I played as Foster in 1
Couple times.
Because I wanted it and I could afford it. Made my character look better or helped me put a style together I wanted and made the game more enjoyable because of it.
Picked up $500, and I thought "Oh what better way to spend someone's money by wasting it on something that I probably won't use"
Used the change for some food. Then went home
no and i advocate against it
do you lose points if you get suds in doggos' eyes?
I bought a £40 hat on TF2, then I sold a factory new unusual weapon for £1200 when those crates came out, then I quit forever.
Not even once.
NOT
EVEN
ONC E
yes
it looked cool
Yes, a few times. They were for singleplayer games, so fuck off.
>things that never happened
Kk friend
This is why video games are so terrible. You are the reason. IT'S YOU FUCKING SHITHEADS.
Yes please.
I bought heroes of the storm hero pack with really nice skins. It was 80 percent off and gave me skins like high elf slyvanas and high elf tyranda that showed really nice cheeky ass.
best cosmetic spent
I bought a chainsaw skin in Dragonica :c
fake and gay
Nah. Direct your attention to the drooling retards who buy keys for loot chests and Shark Cards™
Kk friend
>cosmetics ruin gaming
I'm pretty sure it's the only thing that is fairly acceptable to be behind a paywall.
rocket league tbqh
Over the span of 8 or so years I've probably spent a couple hundred dollars on Second Life. I wouldn't be surprised if I've gone over $1000 range at this point.
>fairly acceptable
NO. What the fuck? It is absolutely not.
I used to by skins I liked in LoL as I like to support devs I feel are doing a good job, and I also approve of supporting art.
I don't anymore because I won't support a game that gets you a temp ban for saying "stop being a little bitch, faggot."

No, I fucking hate in-game cosmetics so much.
I bought 3DS themes though. I was too naive back then.
I don't like neo Sup Forums
>Have you ever bought an in game cosmetic with real world money?
No.
>Why
Because I'm not a colossal fucking retard.
I bought the cute nurse outfit for Rebecca in re:0.
I did it because I wanted to watch her walk around in it the whole game. I wanked to it a few times too.
I am ashamed of myself. And not for the wanking but the fact that I paid for it.
faggots
What do you do in second life? I'm curious about the game and it's communities. What is the 1000 spent on? Avatar skins or furniture?
I wish to know what community you are in if you care to share also.
>Sup Forums this triggered over companies trying to make money
kek
with today's high budgets, companies MUST make a shitload of money or the game is a failure
it's better if they try to earn the money by selling some irrelevant cosmetic trash than by watering the game down so that it appeals to casuals
>I care about a palette swap this hard
I think you meant to say "great minds think alike" poorfag trash
Nigger, I've been here when people still knew and thought cock mongler on Sup Forums was still funny. Neo nothing, no one has minded paid cosmetics except poorfags as we understand and even then understood sometimes games need that shit to stay alive and free.
>says the one who is willing to pay real money for said palette swap
Dawwww the poor cunt is upset.
Get a job.
great minds aren't going to spend money they worked for on digital goods. go back to the blizzard forums shoo shoo
Not him but people always hate pre order dlc that can never be bought. And dlc from select stores for pre order.
>stop liking what I don't like
I already had said money spent on a phone upkeep. It was either using it for something stupid like a game skin or watching it go away as I don't call or text enough to use this shit up. Absoluetely no additional costs from my perspective.
reminder to turn off cosmetics
teamfortress.tv
Those are rarely cosmetic. Those are almost always and extra weapon or more early game extra edge items.
>poorfags THIS assblasted
i dont even play tf2 but this shit is hilarious regardless
great minds have great jobs and therefore can afford to spend their money on whatever the fuck they wish
they make the game look stupid, it has a great artstyle without it but nice damage control, have to protect your 'investment"
It's always cosmetic man. Even overwatch has pre order skins you can't get.
I buy 50 crates every holiday event in Overwatch. Because I can.
reEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH COSMETICS WE CAN SPEND IT HOWEVER YOU WANT STOP CENSORING US
>playing arena shooter trash
Shiggydiggy
why would I lie on an anonymous korean fishing forum my friend
masterfully crafted bait or one of the worst cases of severe retardation I've seen on Sup Forums
Poorfag this mad lul
Bought a weapon and 2 keys for TF2 half a decade ago to see if it came with special features or if it really was as retarded as it seemed
why would anybody lie at all? its caused by delusion, cosmeticucks are delusional
Only as part of other DLC and bundles.
That said, cosmetics have never really bothered me that much. I prefer it to locking out gameplay content.
Oh. Actually. I think I bought a hat for TF2 for like 0.15 euros once.
i can see the fear, better sell fast cuck
I bought outfits in Mafia 2 for a dollar or two a piece. I was naive enough to think the game was going to get better.
For those of you that have never heard of this mediocre crime drama that predates Mafia 3; all it's good for is an unsuspecting porn collection.
Same fag that bought the heroes of the storm sexy slyvanas skin. I always get compliments on how they love the skin.
Sexy skins are always worth it.
To support the devs for a game I enjoyed and got secondhand.
>shoes on the bed
>red bra on the bed even though she's wearing a white one
If you are gonna get jewed, getting your dick hard while you do it is at least something.
you're delusional if you think I'm delusional
Since the game is not popular anymore they give great discounts. 80 percent off huge gold investment heroes and 3 of the sexiest skins in game. Fucking worth it
wouldn't you rather get what you want without paying money for it? not too long ago skins were unlocks for completing tasks, like ratchet and clank, unlockables. before that there was always the option to reskin with free mods or skins without an unlockable trait like quake 2. how are you going to let companies take this right away from you? you don't even own the entire game and are perfectly okay with that even though you bought the entire game. and maybe you aren't okay with it, but supporting them isn't going to make the practice stop. the only people who defend this crap will defend it when its even worse, where its already headed with shit like rainbow six siege, with a free2play tier store and unlock system but behind a 40 dollar paywall. stop thinking with your dick
Of course. I haven't bought any cosmetics myself.
I'm just saying. If I were to buy any. It would most likely be titillating.
The game is free.
Yup, not proud. Bought the boss's outfit in MGSV for my female soldiers. was 1 doler
The underwear is from other whores he's had over. But yes, the Czechs were a wee bit autistic with the shoes. There's also a scene with one bathing in them.
>call of duty, battlefield, grand theft auto, overwatch, counter strike, etc
>not fucking casual trash
Why am I entitled for a free to play game have every option free?
I am fine with developer's making money on non game play related skins
i know nothing about heroes of the storm so you are right, it is free to play and that is how they make money. i however don't agree with the practice of free to play so it doesn't make one difference to my point
>Have you ever bought an in game cosmetic with real world money?
I don't play online multiplayer trash.
dragon nest
cash shop items offered extra stats in-game
plus i hadn't spent that much
these people will manage to infect singleplayer somehow too, continue to not give a shit while it doesn't affect you faggot
Anyone know if Hawken is still around and well?
Was an amazing free to play
Yes. So that I could use the items it advertises. You see, ETS2 doesn't work like a regular video game, you don't simply beat it or try to beat others at it. There's no competition. It's about comfiness without a real goal, and shining up your truck is part of the feeling. It makes you feel good. Plus back when I bought it it was part of some bundle whose other parts I already had so it only cost me around 80 Cents or something.
No and I especially don't spend money on free to play games.
If I can grind for the cosmetic or pay in-game gold for it on the marketplace, I'll do that instead.
>these people will manage to infect singleplayer somehow too
So what purpose do single player cosmetics serve?
we will see when one company manages to tap into it and then everyone copies them. many singleplayer games are always online already, the dragons dogma-like system of renting heroes in exchange for ingame currency or some shit where people will spend more for the cool looking character maybe? take notes faggots, this is your target, make a game to ruin this mans hobby because i hate him
The point of cosmetics is showing off to other players. Second Life was built entirely around this concept and had no actual gameplay.
Cosmetics don't make any sense if nobody is there to see them.
Even paid achievements would make more sense.
how would they not be able to see your character with what i have proposed?
>What do you do in second life?
ERP/fetish simulator. To be honest though 90% of my time is standing around naked at sex sims not replying to people because I'm too autistic and jaded to make friends with people.
>What is the 1000 spent on?
Pretty much all of it is on clothing/hair/skins and shit for my avatar. I don't own land so no point in buying furniture.
One of my account is femboy stuff. The femboy community is weird as fuck because everything just gets thrown including shemales with tiddies and everything. I hate that shit because it's so much easier to just make a futa/shemale than an actual femboy. The other account is my strictly female persona. I'm also super into the whole monster boy/girl thing. I have a faun, lamia and mermaid so far. So I hang around fantasy themed sims a lot.
i bought a chest for dota once, cost me $12.50
later turns out it was some korean server only promo thing, and only ten or twenty ever got to market
the item i got from the chest was a rare courier of which only five or something have ever been sold
so i flipped a 12.50 chest for $200 usd
fuck, it now goes for $356 usd
cosmetics
>extra stats
>playing anything p2w
who else insta-quit payday 2 when they introduced stat-boosting items?
>Video games are terrible because of cosmetics that don't affect anything
Move out of mommy's basement and get a real job so you have disposable income instead of autism bux
oh no, if you spent however many hours you have in dota 2 at work you would make 300 dollars in a day
go fuck yourself rajeesh
>it now goes for
you fucking autburger
Thanks for sharing with me. I guess second life has a huge market for sexual desires. I doubt other communities make as much money.
Yes
Because I'm not a poorfag and I have an actual job, a wife and two daughters
Actual, non-day one gameplay content that shouldn't have been in the game to begin with>costumes>stats>>>the rest
I love paid cosmetics!
It means someone else is paying for the game and supporting the developers!
Just wondering, have you returned to game later when the dust has settled? I've never played it but heard Overkill made better changes after the controversy.
Bought several skins for my fav. champs in LoL. Because I wanted. No regret here.
