To be fair it's hard for a platformer to have so many different Kongs and make them still unique or useful. Diddy had very little use in TF, Dixie ended up having her own peanut popgun re-colour,
Imagine if they did want to bring in Funy, Chunky, Lanky, or Tiny. Especially as Dixie already uses her hair.
If you can say how they'd play differently that would be great because I can't see Chunky as much more than a slower DK, Tiny as another Dixie. Lanky I don't know, might just handstand everywhere and go faster?

Chunky could be p2 for co-op (like another dk) and we get a 4p compatible game where you can carry other kongs sans dk.
Lanky could use his stretching limbs for grabbing barrels at long distance or something like Chamaleon Twist ir Yoshi Story where you could grab some spheres witg your tounge and reach other platforms.
Tiny is a lost cause.

I don't know if DKC games have the space for 4-P what we might get though is both players choose a big Kong and a small Kong, eg. P1 can pick DK and Diddy, P2 can have Chunky and Dixie. Lanky and Cranky are solo alternatives that have 3 hearts instead of two but can't pair up
