EDF is amazing but I got bored of it after a week or two. Mostly how the SP and MP progress are separate and how you can typically only carry 2 weapons at a time. When there's tons of filler single use weapons that you will never use and missions are typically lost by you bringing the wrong weapon, a 2 weapon limit sucks. Also the DLC is fucking horrible other than the mission packs. This is rank 8, I out leveled it in like 3 missions and won't ever use it again since it's not a skin for some ungodly reason.
Sad because the game is fun as fuck.
Want to know if EDF4.1 is worth it as well. Thinking of buying it right now.

Even though they are the same basic genre they are way different. Subnautica isn't really about combat and is mostly about surviving the depths and avoiding nasty shit. It's also only singleplayer. Aces the deep dark terror of the ocean though.
The Forest I haven't tried, but it looks like yet another survive the wilderness with cannibals game. Supposed to be pretty decent if you aren't sick of that already, and looks like it hits the horror vibe pretty decent with dismembered dead bodies and disgusting mutations.
Post ending in dubs tells me what game under $10 I buy
