I know that the Internet is flooded with people doing games on sites like YouTube and Twitch, but I want to put forward an argument for supporting DarksydePhil (DSP) for your gaming content.
DSP is one of the first professional gamers to become active in recording and uploading their playthroughs, starting before the big boom of the 2010s. As a result, he has a ton of experience in gaming and entertaining an audience. He has made an audience of thousands over the course of this time, with more and more people joining his channel each day. Arguably, he has had a massive influence on the LP scene, and has had clear influence on the development of such names as PewDiePie, Markiplier, Two Best Friends Play, and Jacksepticeye.
DSP provides a unique persona with a lot of depth for his commentary. Frequently he will joke about games being unfair or specifically working against him, but these are part of the character he plays. A small community has become convinced that he isn't skilled as a gamer, but DSP did spend several years within the incredibly competitive professional Street Fighter and Fighting Game tournament communities.
I invite you all to check out DSP and check out his videos on his primary channel, as well as his edited content channel at KO Gaming. I haven't seen anyone provide the level and amount of content that he has in gaming since he arguably started the concept of Let's Play. He is someone who really loves gaming, and that's something that I think some of us here on Sup Forums can appreciate. If you really enjoy his work, be sure to check out his official forum community and even consider donating to his Patreon campaign. Every little bit helps, and if everyone who subscribed just gave a dollar a month, he would be all set to keep providing new content for every conceivable major release for the next several years to come.
