Why isn't he wearing a helm? It looks stupid

Why isn't he wearing a helm? It looks stupid.

Being able to craft daedric armour is more stupid than an immortal being not wearing a helmet.

>he wears helmets in games that have 'hide helmet'
disgusting

The armor already looks fucking retarded. Why does it matter if he wears the helmet?

There should at least be a quest to do in order to be able to use daedric hearts to make armor.

>go get book from draugr tomb dragonborn

>"Hey, user! Check out my badass Orc in this sweet Daedric Armor!"

My friends are FUCKING normies.

>Making Daedric equipment requires Daedric Hearts and Ebony
Make sense ...
>Magically able to perform all the necessary lengthy rituals on every forges in an instant without any quests or books or other explanation
Yeah, fuck that. They should have limited it to the magical forge below the College

It would be nice if you actually had to find it around world, so it would encourage exploration.

Daedric armour is overrated and you now it.

Ebony>>>Steel>Shit>>>>>>Daedric

>Playing Heavy Armor in a game that has a limit on damage resistance
lol

>min maxing in a single player rpg
smfh

>Why isn't he wearing a helm?
Because he's in town where there's little chance of a fight breaking out.
Do you wear a hat indoors like a fucking degenerate?

>made to kill
>lives in literal hell ruled by the universe's embodiment of Destruction
>summoned only to battle
What?

steel plate is good too

Used to wear steel plate boots and gauntlets with my ebony mail (I had a mod that made the steel darker)

Even hellspawn could use some R&R every now and then.

Now that you bring it up, I was thinking of steel plate, not normal steel. Plate is better.

It makes him a little bit more intimidating, the daedric helm looks like an angry howl or something, not intimidating at all if you ask me.
Also so far the only intimidating shit I had found are the Dwemer centurions, an angry giant statue walking towards you with no expresion on his face. But the impresion last a few seconds because Dwemer centurions are a joke in battle.

I hope TESVI has more cool dwemer shit

I mean owl.

Normal steel looks comfy, but it doesn't pair well with most other armors
>mixing armor sets
I used the aetherial crown so I was missing out of the heavy armor set bonus anyway
Also my steel plate stuff had pretty good enchantments
sorry for the blogposts

>Play Dragonborn
>Pic related paralyze you and shit talk you
>Steal your dragon souls
>Send fucking dragons after you
>You ride a dragon to the SUMMIT OF APOCRYPHA
>Pic related get buffed up and banter with you
>"Aww yes this is gonna be some Dante vs Vergil shit"
>that fucking awkward magic casting animation
>Get healed after some time
>That's his only strategy
Goddamnit Bethesda

You expected an actual boss fight? In a Bethesda game?

Man, that fight was hype as fuck. It's a shame it was so flawed.

Bethesda's only strategy to making a boss is have it summon a few adds and heal at certain hp percentage levels. Even if they tried actual boss mechanics, the shitty combat system wouldn't allow it to work.

that one dragon fight in the dawnguard dlc, on the frozen lake, was almost a boss fight

almost

It was just two normal dragons at once.

yeah almost
they tried to give it a gimmick with them crashing through the ice

No, there was this faggot mage who would teleport 20 meters away from you and then heal half his hp everytime he was in trouble.

I actually do take my hat off indoors. I always see other guys wearing hats inside, but it always feels weird to me if I try it.

That's a flaw in the combat system as a whole, they can't really make the fights too interesting without making them retardedly hard or gimmicky and annoying.

NORDIC CARVED

NEVER SHOULD OF COME HERE

they should use the environment and put shit like those soul gems that shoot spells, areas that damage you like in the special apocrypha area with power books you find, runes that get randomly placed. Even if those things might not work that well with the character engine it would make the game more interesting.

But there's another "boss fight" in one of the draugr dungeons where you fight 3 draugrs that keep teleporting and every time they teleport all of them fus roh dah you and only one of them is the special draugr that you have to damage. And it's so bad. The rest of the encoutners are just lol you reached the "boss room" here are waves of draugrs that get out of their coffins.

>The rest of the encoutners are just lol you reached the "boss room" here are waves of draugrs that get out of their coffins.

Don't forget the one Draugr in the group that has 16 billion hp and can one shot you with his power attack even when you're armor capped.

Are there ANY boss fights that are done well in a TES game?

you mean "one shots you by going into a cinematic kill you can't avoid"
no, boss fights in FO3 and NV are shit as well

I like when they don't lock you in the rooms so you can just run away

>be me
>just finished bloodmoon for the first time
>be a mage
>calm + all summons

awwwww

Smithing was just a giant mistake in general. More the fact that you can't pay all the numerous blacksmiths to smith anything or upgrade anything for you. So you are basically forced into Smithing.

All the low level armors in Skyrim were really nice looking, I very much preffered wearing them over the high end stuff. Iron, Leather, Fur, Steel, Steel Plate, Studded, Hide, and Scale all looked phenomenal.

Steel Plate and Nordic Carved > Ebony

>spend all your gold on making iron daggers
>enchant the daggers
>sell the enchanted daggers to get your gold back
>use your 100 enchanting to make a +smithing armor set
>wear your +smithing set and improve your regular gear
>delete your character because there's no reason to go into dungeons anymore

>Nordic Carved
You like wearing a skirt and looking like every bandit "boss"?

I'll fight you bitch

Iron daggers don't do shit anymore m8, I can see you never touched the game after the first patch

Nordic Carved with Dawnguard Helmet or get out of my god damn face.

>you never get to see people wearing daedric armor, only dremoras and daedra
>you never get to see someone with orcish armor in a tavern, only orcs in strongholds uses it
>there are ebony mines in Skyrim and then you open one in Solstheim, yet you never get to see someone in ebony armor besides the ebony warrior, not even jarls use them
>you never get to see someone with Dwarven armor, not even dwemerboos like the dawnguard girl that makes dwemer crossbows or the guy who stole katria's aetherium work
>you never get to see someone using stalhrim or falmer armor despite how ridiculous it is

Nordic carved is top tier design m8.

Gold earrings then, what the fuck ever.

What you mean by that?
You can still level up enchanting pretty fast using daggers and the banish daedra enchant even after on a recent patch.

I'm not denying that it's a good design
I just won't put it above Ebony.

I wish the gold in Ebony was more pronounced, the fact that it just looks flat black bugs the fuck out of me.

Ebony warrior is probably one of the best bosses in this game

"Tired of bread and stew? Had enough of fish and fowl? Treat yourself and your kin to a choice cut of steak or a tender rack of ribs."

Dwarven>all
Nothing beats the Brass Killbot set.

Dwarven looks pretty damn sweet in Skyrim.

I actually ran into a wandering mercenary encounter once where they were wearing full dwarven armor. It was pretty cool and I always kind of wondered what their backstory was.

Bullshit I have seen wandering mercenaries in full ebony
