>game auto saves every few seconds
>accidentally kill important npc
Game auto saves every few seconds
Name 3.14 games that do this
Dark souls 1, 2, and pi.
Name one game that does this that doesn't have quicksave + hard save capabilities.
the entire darksouls series
And this is exactly what makes Souls a better RPG than at least 95% of the genre.
>playing Dark Souls
>get message from friend
>try to open up steam overlay
>accidentally attack Andre
>girlfriend tells me to watch Psycho Pass
>get like 5 episodes in and it's the most boring fucking thing I've ever seen in my entire life
I didn't play much of the souls games but I liked that aspect of it you can't just save scum your way to victory.
>Accidentally kill important NPC
How? I've never done that before
Good thing I made a backup of my save.
>Dark souls
>Important NPCs
Just kill them all and see what they drop.
Akane is best waifu ur shit
>holding the strongest weapon in the game
>standing in front of important NPC in a safe area
>decide to take a break and put my controller down
>People tell me to watch Psycho Pass
>Watch all of it, including the second part and the movie
>It never got good
>Story actually got worse after the first one
CAUSE I FEEL
And it's fantastic that this is totally a viable way to play the game as long as you're prepared to face the consequences.
Ah but you can be a little bitch and use the wiki every 2 minutes.
You know who you ARE.
Oh man this is great because of how bad of a decision you made but is also incredibly relatable because I've done the same shit with other shows.
You can rollback your save.
I accidently killed an NPC in new game+.
I'd rather redo two areas than have to wait until ++ to get the item I wanted.
I had it on 360 back before the PC port so yeah that was not an option.
It's not like you can reload a save in ds.
just restart the level
