I'm glad I don't play games

From an outsiders perspective this seems like pure consumerism

Is Ark: Survival Evolved worth 10 bucks or should I wait for Rust to go on sale?

ONE WRPG TO BUY
WHICH ONE Sup Forums?

Arcanum

>(((Wolfenstein)))

Worst mistake of my life, can't believe I paid to get Jew'd.

What should I get between SFV, Doom, and DE:MD?

>a giant sale is consumerism

school starts tomorrow, go to sleep

Should I get it if I like action games even though I never played a mgs game ever?

It was a good game. Maybe not a good wolfenstein game, but it had a story that balance serious and campy really well. All they need to do is make it a little more game-y for the sequel, but keep the same style of writing

>those amount of almost perfect scores of Downwell
Is it really that good? I was looking at getting Bleed instead but i don't know.

Recommending helldivers.
Just 8 yurops for a magicka and warhammer 40k fusion. Can be played vanilla but a bit more fun if you buy the pilot or vehicle pack.

Yes people buying loads of shit they don't really care about because the price is cheaper than usually

Is it worth getting MGR if I already own it on PS3?

Yeah, you don't need to know anything about MGS to play it really.

What are some good rogue likes similar to Rogue Legacy?

It's got almost nothing in common with metal gear but the character, and even then it gets him wrong, so, yeah. Go for it.

Downwell was almost my surprise game of the year last year.

You have to grind everything again

>ven though I never played a mgs game ever?

literally doesn't matter

and yes you should get it

Drastically different games, if you;re into fighting games get SF, if you just want a shooter get Doom, if you want a game like DE HR or Dishonored get MD

I have 15.88 CAD, what should I buy?

You don't play games yet you browse this shithole.

Man, prioritize better, you have a good life.

You don't actually know what communism is, do you?

He said consumerism, not communism

Is Symphonia really worth it?
I had the original on GC years ago but I lost it when I moved and never found it

>Early Access game
>$DLC expansions before it's even finished

fuck Ark

Are you calling me a nazi? How rude.

I haven't played it but Gonner is the only other roguelike platformer that comes to mind.

Downwell has that addicting arcade game vibe to it where you can extract a decent amount of playtime from it.
It has tight controls and just feels good.
It's comfy enough to play while you're deep in thought.

It's main flaw is the combo system has a limit, meaning it's more effective to artificially end combos then keep them going past their limit.

It's arguably the best tales game.

It's good enough compared to the rest of them that I can't tolerate any of the others now.

Spelunky

I think it's based on the PS2 version, so if you liked the original the steam version should have some extra content for you
The port's pretty shoddy though and you have to make some fixes yourself

Best Dark souls to start the series?

No I don't but I don't browse this piece of shit community too much.

is it a pain to get the original quakes working on win10/modern hardware?

Earth Defense Force 4.1
Planetary Annihilation: Legion (titans expansion)
OBEY
Knuckle Cracker
Overlord Series (no Fellowship)
Red Faction: Gorrilla
Pic Related 1993
Universe At War: Earth Assault
Postal 2
Madballs
Quake Franchise
Dawn of War
Cereal Jam Franchise
Greg Goo
DarkSiders Series
evolve classic

If anybody is interested in C&C they should check out Origin.
They have a sale for all C&C games for $5

Grey Goo is alright.
Supcom Series, you likely already have.
PA's is a bit roguelike
TA is total annihilation.
C&C is a no-brainer.

Overlord really isn't much of an RTS proper, but it's worth a look into.

I'm scared to buy GTA V
Will I get banned from online like everyone says?

steamcommunity.com/id/MintClassic/wishlist/
Which games from my wishlist will best aid in quelling the emptiness that is my life?

I've been recommending watch dogs 2 all night. Best open world city game available right now. If you don't give a shit about the story or concept, just get it for the amount of fuckery you can cause in SF

>buy 7 days to die
>why do I move so slow
>why is it lagging in singleplayer
>where are all the enemies
>refund
>still pending
Should I cancel it since it won't go through until the sale is over? How do you enjoy this game?

Killing Floor 2 Digital Deluxe, y/n?

I want to play as the Chivalry knight

I got $1.50
What do I buy?

1 or 3 in any order, but keep in mind the flaws.

How is Root Double's localization? I've heard questionable things about Sekai Project, so if it's not great I'd rather just pirate the original version instead.

>Helldivers
Is any of the DLC necessary? Is the community still spread out evenly, or is it mostly just people doing end game stuff? I've wanted to get that game for awhile but it completely slipped my mind.

>How do you enjoy this game?

You don't.

I want a game to throw 100+ hours at and still be able to come back to it

suggestions pls

Can you say a bit more about grey goo? Looks interesting but got bad reviews.

What fixes?

7DTD is shit as is. It's just a buggy laggy hot mess. It has the potential to be a good game but it sure as fuck wasn't a good game two years ago and it sure as fuck isn't a good game now. You know how laggy the game is now? This on their NEW engine. It has a lot of interesting ideas and mechanics but it's just not ready.

Just go 1,2,3
No reason to get caught up in some weird autism

CoD

Good, and sorry for assuming things about your life. Just realized how damn rude that is.

how am i supposed to know what you like

EVERYONE RIGHT NOW SUGGEST AN OBSCURE(-ish) GAME AND WHY PEOPLE SHOULD BUY IT OR THERE WILL NEVER EVER BE A SALE AGAIN

REASSEMBLY IS A FUN OPEN SPACE SHOOTER WHERE YOU BUILD/UPGRADE YOUR SHIP FROM THE GROUND UP AND FIGHT OTHER SHIPS FOR DOMINANCE OVER THE UNIVERSE

It's an old-timey RTS. I think most of the issues and criticisms were ironed out. May of been connection, may have been balance, or just gamebreaking bugs.

Each faction has a bit of a learn curve.

That depends on what you want. Rouge likes and other "never ending" games are the easiest in terms of single player.

But if you want a game that has 100's of hours of fresh content I don't know many.

better graphics? All DLC

QUICK SHOULD I GET ROCKET LEAGUE EVEN IF I HAVE NO FRIENDS TO PLAY IT WITH Y/N

Downwell

if you can play multiplayer competitive games lightheartedly then yes. the game can befun on its own playing with randoms.

Just hope you dont get a psynet player

n

rocket league is shit alone unless your playing 1v1s all the time

I recently got done with all of these (still have the other 2 new Shadowrun games to play), what should I buy?

How's God Eater? Worth the 20$?

Or Toukiden?

Anyone have fun coop game suggesstions for a small amount of people like Vagante and helldivers?

Which should I grab, and why? (Actually talk about the game)

Are the Ys games any good? Also, is "Orgins" the first game?

How was technobabylon?

Ys goes all over the place if you were to play them in release order.

Is DOOM worth it brehs?

I bought God Eater and im really enjoying it, its pretty much Monster Hunter but with a combat system similar to a hack n slash.

And from what ive seen there looks to be a lot of content, plus youre getting God Eater 2 and a remake of the first one for $20.

All i know about Toukiden is that its a shit port, dunno about the actual game.

Sup Forums claims hyperlight drifter is a meme, a game that inspired the indie boom but took too long to release, resulting in it being mediocre compared to games that are out now.

I've been told that despite the game being about dashing, that the levels aren't designed around it.

RABI-RIBI Y/N????

How bad is the port of Toukiden?

i'm looking at edf and god eater, how about it? the god eater no jp voices bugs me as a weeb (and because i just hate how no effort the voices for eng sound in about 75% of the dubs, theres some dang good stuff though)

and that edf requires friends (and my friends dont have edf nor any interest in it)

Y

The only people to hate it on Sup Forums is /jp/, it must be good.

...

Is SOMA as bad as people say it is?
What's Stardew Valley all about?
Is the Tales of Symphonia PC port good? I have the PS3 version but the 30fps is killing it for me.

pls

Is this 362515793 guy in this thread?

Sorry I fell asleep. But if you're here:

amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01D3Q0228/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

>Witcher 2 (Play this before Witcher 3 if you've never played a Witcher game):

OH FUCK

meant to do this

Isn't stardew valley a harvestmoon like game?

Any recommendations for games for when you are having an existential crisis?

Cant speak for SOMA
Stardew Valley is just a Harvest Moon clone. Its pretty good if you're into that sort of thing and there's plenty of mods
Its not a very good port but I think there's fixes for it

Roguelands
Overcooked

From what i remember, the physics are tied to the FPS which is locked at 30 and the PC controls are awful.

y

OKAY user I WILL GET IT LATER

TRY OVERLORD, OBEY OR POSTAL 2, THEY'RE UNIQUE TITLES WITH GOOD GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE

ALSO LOOK INTO EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 4.1 BECAUSE GIANT BUGS

IF YOU LIKE GIANT BUGS GO FOR INFESTED PLANET OR HELLDIVERS

Is Darkest Dungeon really as bad as the steam reviews say?

Tales is still the unstable 30fps like the PS3 version. There is a mod that makes it stable 30fps, but that is it. I think the game speed is tied to frames. So never expect 60fps

steamcommunity.com/app/372360/discussions/0/458607699626558474/

SOMA is a story/walking game
Unlike amnesia, it barely has any puzzles or interactive parts. The horror is good but only exists in few moments.

Stardew is a harvest moon
pretend you have a farm, gf and life with a touch of fantasy / magic

Its one of those games that people really love or really hate
RNG and grinding ruin the game for most people but if you can get past that it's amazing

What are some good weeb games on steam. No nep shit plz.

It's great when everything is new and you can resist the temptation to look at what everything does.
Then it all goes to shit when the novelty wears off and you're going back through the same places with slight color variations on enemies.

Yes.

cloudbuilt is 75% off; $4.99

100% Orange Juice

Got all YS games this sale, they're great imho, user recommended me to play chronicles before origins and after doing so I think that's the way to go.

this game looks ugly as fuck

personally the town upgrading doesnt work with me well
everything else works real nice though

you might end up liking it or hating it

I had fun.

Mostly prioritized 6-20 hour long action games I can get over and done with quickly, so even in the case of pretty subpar games like Toren or Malebolgia, if they're short I can deal.

Cloudbuilt looks great but also like it'd quickly become a timesink to deal with just replaying levels over and over to get those tasty runs.
