How the fuck am I expected to play this game? Does it have a difficulty?

How the fuck am I expected to play this game? Does it have a difficulty?

It's just so easy.

I just start at a place and clean it of all treats until I reach the targets then clean them and the rest of the map until they are no treats left, first when I've done that I consider the map completed, even if it means bombing crowds as a means of getting rid of them. And no I'm not getting into gunfights.

How should I play the game to make it more challenging?

>treats
wut

Kill nobody except the targets
Don't leave any witnesses
Don't leave any camera footage

suit only SA or nothing faggot

Accidents only.

If you kill anyone other than your target you are doing it wrong.

Anything below Silent Assassin rank is basically a "aw shucks you tried" award.

When did Hitman get invaded by tryhard faggots?

>Hey guys, why is it that when I brute force this stealth game while ignoring all the challenges it places before me outside the main objective it's so fucking EASY???
>It's like, I can totally just run to the target and kill him and get the worst possible score for the level without even trying! Where's the challenge?!

Around the time Hitman 2 came out and it ranked you on your performance, it peaked with Hitman Contracts when you would unlock unique weapons for SA'ing missions.

When the series was created.

They're justifying Hitman Ground Zeroes (the entire franchise, all 6 of them).

You only should get the game if you like repetition. If you just want to complete levels, then stay far away from this. It isn't Blood Money, regardless what shills say, nowhere near the amount of content.

>it peaked with Hitman Contracts when you would unlock unique weapons for SA'ing missions
Which was implemented in Silent Assassin.

go back to cawadooty prick

>caring about rank in a game that ranks you and derives its challenge from encouraging you to get the highest rank
>tryhard

No...

Thanks guy will try it but don't it get boring for a while? Also what map would you recommend to try this out?

WebM related, cleaning the streets after I just removed the embassy from Swedish filth hahah.

the game is called hitman not kill'emallman

>nowhere near the amount of content
This is wrong.

BM had:
>13 levels
>optional objectives
>weapon collecting

2016 has:
>11 levels (so far)
>escalations
>challenges
>user-created contracts
>elusive targets

2016 is easily the most replayable game in the series and, once all of the seasons are out, it'll probably be the longest too.

>treats

Literally all the maps. Also turn HUD and music off when you know a map well enough and it becomes 10x better and more immersive. I tend to turn everything off but just leave instinct on because sometimes it's needed, I try to use it as little as possible though and just listen to what's on the other side of the door or whatever seeing as they removed keyhole peeking.

Look through the challenges too, Hitman isn't one of those games where you complete each level once then say you 'completed it', it's always been about replaying it over and over and finding different methods and paths to take. I'm 100+ hours in and still finding brand new ways to kill.

Not as well. Silent Assassin had some weapon rewards for some specific missions. Contracts had an exclusive weapon that you could only get with an SA ranking for every single individual mission.

Great game.

When Silent Assassin came out, in October 1, 2002

That game is the try-hardest of the entire series.

How do I get this game to reach a stable 60fps on a $2000 PC? Minimum settings at 720p still makes it constantly dip below 20.

have you tried turning it off and on again?

>it scores you on the number of times you saved

Brutal.

Slow loading screen before main menu doesn't count as performance issues

You can't even save the game on the Professional difficulty.

>A game having performance issues doesn't count as having performance issues.

Kek

Not OP but I just built a new rig for about $1200 and It runs like butter now, my old rig ran it like shit though.
dx12 makes a hell of a difference, dunno if theyre optimizing that first or what, but dx11 runs shittier. I have everything set to max except for shadows, I think i have em set to medium.
$2k rig shouldnt have any problems running it, or your hardware sucks.
1440p 60fps and I havent had any sub 50 dips.

Try lowering shadows and lighting for performance increase, and run it on dx12 if you can.

>$2000 PC
>Can't do 720p over 20 fps consistently

Let's do some math here.

GTX 1080: $600
I7 - 6700k: $338
ASUS Z170 PRO Motherboard: $145
16 GB DDR4 RAM: $92
2 TB HDD: $68
500 GB SSD because why the fuck not: $130
EVGA 850 G2 Power Supply: $120
HAF X (pc case): $165

And here we have an entire computer, built from scratch with the best video card currently available, an uncessarily good I7 ready for overclocking and basically splurging a bit more than necessary on every part, final cost is still $1658.

If you have a "$2000 PC" that can't run this game on 720p, you must have made a big mistake somewhere. Unless you mean a pc you built for $2000 like 6 years ago, that doesn't count.

I'd also like to add that the prices don't take any new year's/christmas savings into consideration.

The tl;dr is stay away from DX12.

Suit only, or choose what ever gimmick they have for that level
>ninja
>fortune teller
>vampire

Start at your default location
turn off instinct
turn off HUD

To be fair i kinda agree, the game is sorta easy compared to other hitman games and i'm hoping in season 2 they improve it much more and include the many suggestions given by the fans.

You can just open the door while taking cover next to it and that's how you get a peek through without hitman vision.
