It's still a revolver, retard. Typically a suppressor won't do much for a revolver, but there's a few gas seal revolvers where the cylinder slides up against the barrel as the trigger is pulled, making a tight seal, and those can be suppressed pretty effectively. And suppressors for shotguns are a fairly common thing.

Shotguns are also used for hunting. A suppressor on a hunting shotgun would just help hide your location from whatever game you are tracking.
That's all suppressors are really for anyway. You can't make a gun silent, but you can reduce the report and make it less obvious where the shot came from.
