Who's the best faction?

Is there any particular server I'd be better off playing on?

And can I play the story stuff solo?

the combat is alright, it isn't broken in any regard but it also isn't platinum CURAYHZEE tier, you build resources and spend them but you get to pick from a lot of different trees and combos. Also the atmosphere is top tier.

I bought the Ultimate Edition from Steam, for $14.99 a couple of days ago.

After downloading and installing it, it's telling me I need to Register with Funcom, before I play.
I go to do that and it's asking me to pay $29.99.
It also says there's no subscription required.

This is also my first time using Steam.
I'd possibly like a refund, but it says I've played for 2 hours. But I've played for 0 seconds, as I can't get past the first screen without having a Username and Password after registering with Funcom.

Steam gives you a CD key that you apply to your Funcom account. Are you really that retarded?

I didn't use steam for The Secret World, look to the right on the game page where manual, discussion etc normally sit and see if there is a CD Key option, whenever steam gives you a key for DLC or whatever they'll sit in there so you can grab it when you need it.

Get it cheap

Play it solo for story/atmosphere.

Quit when you get bored.

Don't become one of those tryhard MMO faggots that actually tries to play the game seriously.
