Never played TF2 I liked Enemy Territory, Battlefield 2 and Tribes.

Did you even play it? For what it is its a good game. It's not very competitive, but the balance is alright and it's fun to play.

Just because you play it doesn't mean it's the only game you ever play all the time, but I thoroughly enjoy it for a couple hours at a time

Post 07 FPS games are why I play Overwatch. I just can't find slow modern cover shooters as fun as I did TF2 or Q3A. It's a welcome refresh from tacticool cod killstreak shit.

It's a different style of game, the players that use their "instant win buttons" at the wrong time will generally lose. It comes down to strategy more than skill, which any rpg or rts player will grasp the concept of. People who only play vanilla fps games don't really get it and just say that it's skilless when they lose because they didn't manage their cooldowns effectively

It's not only about pressing them at the right time on your own, it has a lot to do with the coordination of your team. Coordination is more important in Overwatch than mechanical skill. I get that some people don't like that, but don't act like pressing Q is all there is to it.

I agree, Overwatch is loads more fun to watch than CSGO or even TF2. In fact I would say it is the funnest shooter to watch I've ever seen. You can say Quake is fun to play but it's an awful mouthful of different mechanics. Overwatch is simple and refined, at least from my observation.
