Fuck you Mordecai is the best character in the series and he had a legitimately great arc in 2 though I wish they had used the voice actor from the first game
Also the whole handsome jack origin story where his daughter accidentally murdered his wife resulting in this whole dichotomy of love and blame, imprisoning her "for her own good" while abusing her powers for his personal gain and being in denial about it - say what you want about the rest of the game's writing but that was pretty well done and original. Not that I've seen everything ever but I haven't seen a story like that before.
