Bioshock Infinite was a good game
Bioshock Infinite was a good game
Railshock Infinite
definitely was not
but it should have been better
Indeed. It fueled all the porn that came after it.
Wait a minute...
No it isnt
I'm generally not too picky about games and I thought it was just ok. It went for having very simplistic shooting mechanics but left out a lot of the things that make simple shooters fun, so it kind of straddled a good tactical shooter and a good simple shooter and ended up being something mediocre in between.
Was better when in development before Ken went crazy and changed everything last minute.
I'm going to get this.
While I do respect your opinion, fellow anonymous user, I have to disagree with you.
lol guys Bioshock infinite has THE most complex story line EVER.
Really makes u think... Intellectuals only...makes u tackle.. the tough issues...
>BSI was originally gonna be very gloomy but different from 1/2
>BSI was originally going to be more open-ended with more optional missions and side-tracking
>Elizabeth's powers were gonna be so much more before the scope-nerf
it will forever hurt
It was Disney CoD. We got some good SFM porn though at least.
Why did they simplify the game so much
>3 versions of the game.
>The worst version was chosen.
Focus testers I bet.
it was a mediocre game with great art direction, ambitious but ultimately messy writing, and nowhere near enough interesting variation in gameplay
Kenny boy couldn't get it out off the ground. 2k called Ferg in, he feature cut, and scoped it down like a madman to make the release. It was originally supposed to have MP, but that was one of the first things cut.
it was okay desu. it's just contrarian Sup Forums faggots that really spew hate about it.
I know. I didn't see the changes until after I played it
T H A T C A R D
This.
actually a great summary of the game.
Ah, the old "if someone doesn't like this popular game it's because they're contrarians!" argument.
it wasn't bad
the pc version looked really pretty on launch
gameplay and story wise it's a bit weak; they really did a big bait and switch from the trailers to the release
actually it's a piece of shit
>Bit weak
I'd say completely mediocre and not interesting.
Beat me to it.
>Those comments though.
it is not worth 60 dollars
it is not even worth 40 dollars
the game has 0 replay value and the story it delivers is underwhelming as well as cheap. HOHO TIME TRAVEL! YOU HAVE NO REAL FREE WILL REFLECTED IN OUR GAME WITH NO CHOICES, LOL NOT BECAUSE WE JUST DESIGNED THE SHITTY FUCKING GAME TO BE THAT WAY
i am mad yes
booker's old army pal or whatever was probably one of the only redeeming parts of the game
biocock1 was better
...
just got reminded how piss easy it was even on hardest difficulty until the ghost fight
No.
...
>That pic
it's all constants and variables user, did you even played the game?
idiot
the puzzle in this webm is way harder than >that card
Let's talk about the real under dog game here.
I got stuck here for 30 mins, thank god for Youtube
Forever overrated SP minus Minvera's.
Forever underrated MP.
Where Ella and your story was strong, antags and their stories were worse compared to 1, which was always more about the antags than you.
That's why it will forever be 1 > 2 > 3
No it's not, in either gameplay or story.
>gameplay
Two weapon limit with most weapons being slight variants of each other, most vigors play the same, barely any enemy variety, only one way to handle enemy encounters, zero replayability because of the last point, lots of ideas like vigors and rails and teleporting in objects and Elizabeth as a partner and none of them ever mesh so it feels like a mess, regenerating health, and the final boss is a tower defense minigame.
>story
First it's about the evils of exaggerated patriotism in the same way BioShock was about capitalism; but then instead it's about theocracy, and then militarism, and then racism, and then capitalism again, and then socialism, and then all of the above is unceremoniously ditched for time-space wankery. The game isn't so much full of plot holes as it is one giant plot hole itself. Elizabeth could've escaped by herself at any time by, gee I don't know, OPENING A PORTAL. The whole plot's like this, one endless morass of anti-logic. And that's not even getting into the banal handling of social themes and """enlightened""" political commentary.
The whole game relied on Elizabeth being a fantastic waifu to make you like it. LITERALLY the only redeeming features are the art direction and the waifu. The nips can only dream of making a waifu simulator as fantastic as bioshock infinite
Bioshock Infinite made me realize how much better Bioshock 2 was in hindsight.
No one talks about the combat of 2 being the overall best of the series. Granted the story wasn't as engaging at first compared to 1. But I like it more because of its simplicity and daughterfu feels that Infinite tried to do.
Plus, day drill.
...
What are you doing? What kind of thread even is this? Why aren't you posting Elizabeth?
I bought it. It's awesome. Bioshock Infinite is a more than entertaining shooter with an interesting atmosphere and some neat gameplay elements.
I don't think it's a super >deep game but the artstyle and themes were all pretty cool, and gameplay was pretty fun. I think it's a solid 7/10,
Can someone explain to me why almost every game DLCs are better than the main game?
