graphically yes, other than that, not so sure
She does not have booty shorts, so no.
I would say so but I still don't think terribly highly of it.
The new crafting options makes dealing with groups of enemies less of a chore.

Does this pander to a fetish?
It still has a lot of the same core issues the first one had, but otherwise it plays somewhat better overall than the first reboot, plus they actually added in raidable tombs that weren't DLC.
When did this drop? Haven't bothered keeping up since the first one.
That shit falls right into uncanny valley.
It bored me to tears, couldn't finish it
Lara's not as cute as in 2013
Does it have more colors than grey and brown?
Is Lara actually strong this time or is it still ryona pandering?
thats my fetish
i was eating you prick
Impressive fuild simulation.
No. It's just a dumbed down remake.
this was my first thought
...
>better gameplay
>better overworld and connections
>not a better story, but way better endboss fight
>not as much action as the other one
>more tombs
>finally hp bars
Yeah but I kinda didn´t get the survival feeling on this one. I had a bigger survival feeling on the first one eventhough with all of its flaws. Also the first one had kinda more and better action + better Lore.
well 1st one was Lara trapped on an Island - this one was Lara going looking for trouble (and thus has planned and packed gear appropriate to the task).
In theory Lara could have left and gone home in the second (up to a point - past that she truly was trapped in the levels).
In the first the only option is Survival, in the second it was more Fetch the Thing
yeah probably that is the exact reason. Knowing that the whole Islands is your enemy was way better.
Now I am interested in Mexico and also it´s quite funny how the reboot copies Uncharted:
>Tropical Island setting
>Snow setting
>Desert Setting
but I think TR will get more from it because of its lore things. I just hope for at least an fourth installment, because it is the only good 3rd Person shooter there.
True, though there's a limited number of biomes and thus settings for raiding tombs.
Do you think there's any chance of an urban level in tomb raider?
As in Lara fights Trinity or whoever through a city whilst trying to not kill civilians.
I wouldn't want to see nu Lara's legs. They're probably in bad shape. Full of scars, etc, yuck.
On that note, her shirt should have fallen off in TR 2013.
I don't even want to see her boobs, I just think a shirt with such tiny straps would have fallen apart pretty quick in her situation.
I could see that, but tbqh I don´t want that.
The reason I liked UC2 and kinda 1 and 3 is the same reason I like Pirates of the Carribean movies. The lore and the mythical beeings in the world.
E.g. Legends that really are true but in some obscure way. That´s what I love, a real world with mythical/legends etc. who are true. TR gave me a way better version, because to all these Action they added these documents and lore. Which I would love to read to understand more about the legend, myths, enemies, npcs.
E.g. the main villain of rottr is just getting tricked by her sister but you will never know that if you didn´t read the documents, but lara still says that eventhough you didn´t read it, which was kinda stupid.
Having to actually search for the mystery behind the plot, character motivations etc by finding documents and other items would make for a better game, I agree.
Unfortunately from a sales perspective: some (lazy) players would complain the plot makes no sense because "why would that guy shoot that other guy when he had the magic amulet? total bullshit with no foreshadowing - they were friends!"
Never mind that guy A was stringing B along for years with false promises and B was beginning to wise up and planning on doing his own backstabbing.
They're probably in bad shape too.
Idk but which of you fuckers posted this?
...
A novel was written about what happened between the two recent TR games
Lara's asian girlfriend gets brain damage due to post-possession complications. Lara hears of a mystical stone said to heal wounds and confer invulnerability and runs into Trinity agents whilst looking for it, ends up in the middle of a terrorist attack on a university campus.
Discovers the stone does have magical powers after she gets shot repeatedly whilst holding it and doesn't die. Unfortunately she doesn't keep the thing.
>but way better endboss fight
It was one of the worst "helicopter final boss lma" fights followed by a bad stealth "boss"
I mean it's technically better than the first game's QTE but not exactly way better.
You end up blasting niggas in the face and doing stealth kills and shit. Lara goes from scared college grad in TR 2013 to Nathan Drake one man holocaust mode. But stealth is also viable
It's the same game with more collectables. There's a few more puzzles to help break up the monotonous combat and collecting but otherwise it's very dull
>This place will become your tomb!
What did he meany by this?
What's going on. I can't view it.
Is it Lara and her horse, or Lara with some other animal?
No. Very much the same game.
All that media hype about more actual tombs was fucking bollox.
There are a handful of slightly lengthier tombs but overall it still left me missing Anniversary.
Decent enough game otherwise i guess.
Lara gets fucked by a horse
Then cum fountain
This guys animations are great although he went a bit overboard on this one though.
Also he makes over 10k a month in patreon I'm in the wrong fucking industry i swear
Lara and her bull
MODS
>This pissed off Yurifags.
well shooting at a helicopter with enemy waves and this stealthy little thing is in my eyes way better than, walk around dogde qte repeat 3 times.
Yes. I didn't like the reboot but Rise was pretty good. Better level design, story still sucks but Lara's character is a little interesting, less obnoxious too.
i am become cum
>but way better endboss fight
It was the same QTE kinda thing
MODS AREN'T HERE
I'm past ready for new Lara to stop merely surviving and screaming about everything.
