There's never been a debate because these two games are not comparable, that's like comparing Skyrim to Super Mario Sunshine

I've been playing the new doom's multiplayer. Sure it's got loadouts but with the powerups, power weapon pick ups, and armour/health pickups, I'd consider it an arena shooter, which makes it probably the most active arena shooter aside from quake live, and I refuse to play quake live because every server has far too many slots for players letting a map balanced for 8 people be filled with 30 something people, making almost every server unplayable.

Dota 2 is better

Neither has any legitimate competitive value in comparison to rts, arena fps, and fighting games. They don't have as much fuck around potential as other casual games so there's no reason to choose one of them over grand theft auto or an mmo. Really there's no reason to play either of them.

The other is a Moba.
Each have their own rabid fanbase that are retarded.

Theyre the only multiplayer games I play at this juncture. Dota is the better game, Overwatch has more english speakers.

Fair and in depth competition is what makes these sorts of games fun.
