Why aren't you playing the greatest platformer game created?

I played it a lot, like 8 hours a day for weeks
1 > 2 > rest
i spent so much of my childhood with this game, i wish the servers would stay up forever
Because platformer lost their magic after the early 2000's
are the servers still up for the first one? how are the user generated levels looking now days?
I used to play this game so much, the second one specifically. I loved how much freedom the level creator gave you. I'm excited for Dreams.
Because I already played it for 300 hours
last I had heard the servers for LBP 1 & 2 are offline for the PS3 version?
i got hyped for this game, great reviews everywhere
But after playing rayman legends, little big planet pales in comparison
LBP is a good level creation and exploration game and all that but an absolute shit platformer.
2 is still up
the floaty physics thing meme is for those who want it to be exactly like mario
I aced the game just fine
There's physics in the platforming but it's consistent and not really that complicated once you realize it
2>1>3=Karting
2 was objectively the best title in the series compared I 1
2 and 3 is still not sure about Karting though
>Modnation devs gone and here will NEV be a sequel
The floaty jumps is the only issue the series has
You can play community levels from all three games in LBP3. 3s community levels are pretty bad though
>play this as a 13yo
>love it
>try everything the content offers, play MP, create worlds
>play this as a 20yo
>get tired after getting to the mexican wedding barely getting the stickers and costumes
>even if I have people to play with in the MP, don't really feel like it
Did something break inside of me?
Not saying it's hard or anything, I'm saying it's boring because of how simple and easy it is. Still a great game though, probably more hours in it than any other ps3 game.
Great platformers need to have good physics and controls, though.
Lbp has both
>Literally played LBP2 more than any other game in my life
>Would stay up every night fucking around, having fun
>MM relinquishes control because they can't handle dying community
>Sony literally does nothing, and eventually makes it worse
>Literally who studio makes LBP3 a massive disappointment by trying to fix what wasn't broken
>Return to LPB2 very recently
>Same garbage levels copied from LBP1 everywhere
>Community is absolutely dead
Literally nothing will ever come close to filling the hole it left.
1 was more restricted to platforming and the which is why I like it more, also the story mode is a lot better in the original one
there were all sorts of platforming challenges online which were really hard
same deal, feels bad man
I mean I did use the creator tools that 2 has, setting up complicated contraptions was more rewarding in the first one but if that's what you mean then 3 is objectively the best
the story mode was also better
Little Big Planet 1 & 2 always had garbage levels
angry bird/modern warfare avoid the bombs
hold r1 races
dressing rooms
shitty attempts at games you might as well play the originals
i hated the most when people would just stay in their room, and every 10 year old normie had a 'human' sackboy and would eject you if you had anything else. It was practically playstation home for kids
also that came out confusing
basically create tools are the best in LBP 3 whileI like LBP 1 the best
>Artificial Fun: The Platformer
I guess it would be a good recommendation for a PlayStation owner hard-pressed for games
fuck you deadtro
I was the autist who instead of enjoying the game was setting up some walking mech contraptions
yea but you could slap
I guess, but I feel like a lot of the challenge came from solving the puzzles and whatever, not actually timing jumps and stuff.
sick
Yu Kamone is a god
fuck stephanie_ravens tho
there they are
I found LBP to be fairly hard while at the same tiime I beat mario galaxy in a day, love both games though.
nice buzzword
people like you made the online community varied and interesting
her and her entire group were like a weird elitist group that was fun to observe, and sometimes talk to. you're making me remember their whole weird group. did you ever play anything by/talk to mrcoolalpaca? he was a big source of drama too.
LBP 1 had a handcrafed feel and was focused on a few simple mechanics
While LBP 2 shifted the focus to all sorts of things and introduced things like voice acting in the campaign
LBP 1 is more comfy to me though
Dreams so far lacks any soul, LBP 1 captured part platforming perfectly
LBP 2 techno vibe wasn't nearly as comfy
I don't know, but I'll just post Eve porn

I think I played with those people but I don't really remember too much
My most popular level got like 5000 plays and was a platforming level called the return of the collector or something like that, ayy I remember being really stoked about that
>lbp thread
>THAT guy mentioned
Please, can we just have a fucking lbp thread without talking about that faggot
I wanted to like it, but I could never get over the controls. Everything felt so floaty and unresponsive.
