It's especially bad for me since my game has a tendency to freeze up for a couple of seconds when the monster spawns so it gets a free hit on me, or at the very least gets close so it's hard to dodge. Not really.
Personally I'm not a fan of the emphasis on meele the game puts on combat, but then that's mostly because I always feel that meele in first person games never plays well.
However when it comes to the Molded that act like regenerators and we have to dismember them to prevent them from becoming some black version of a Crimson Head, I'm fine with it.

Mostly because it makes combat that much more tense.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't really hate the first person view though.

It´s like they don´t know what they want to be, they act like if Outlast was original when they had their fucking RE3 Nemesis chasing you or Haunting Ground with enemy appearing randomly. They just follow trends.

Not saying game will be bad, but they could try fixed cams once more, any fucking screen of RE1,2, 3 or CV has more personality that all those Amnesia clones together.
