I NEED TO REMEMBER THE NAME OF THIS FUCKING GAME I SAW ON A VIDEO:
>characters put on magic rings that transforms them into monsters and they fight against other npcs who are also wearing rings >main characters are a human being, a manlet and a redhead girl >they were running around a middle-eastern like bazaar/fair in the video, flying from a giant djinn in a magic carpet
If this is of any help to anyone, i just remembered the manlet character was white haired.
Jordan King
Is it Bastion?
Juan Turner
>characters put on magic rings that transforms them into monsters >PS2 era (2004-2009). It was a 3d game.
>Bastion really makes you think that you're fucking retarded
Brody Diaz
Nope.
A central point of the game was that the characters could put on magic rings and then transform into monsters.
The white manlet character wasn't the protagonist, but he was in a trio with an average joe and a redheaded girl.
In a cutscene, the white haired manlet was fighting with an NPC until he himself puts on the ring, transforms into a monster and the NPC runs away scared.
Jace Hernandez
I saw white hair and saw so i figured this was just a thread of people looking for games.
Mason Thompson
Evergrace?
Ryan Brooks
eternal ring?
Landon Brooks
Nope.
I'm not even sure if it was for the PS2. It had similiar graphics for the era, but it could be a PC game.
Ryan Collins
king's field the ancient city
Nathan Bailey
Threads of Fate?
Chase Gonzalez
Same. Thought it'd be DC2 but apparently it isn't unless OP isn't remembering right
Jonathan Allen
The manlet of the game looked like a white haired WoW gnome.
I remember a part of the cutscene where the three heroes get stuck into a dungeon made of stone, until one of them puts the ring and transforms into a huge stone golem.
Kevin Bell
Fuck it, I can't find anything anything close. For other anons with more fortitude than me, also check xbox hueg and gamecube games.
Gabriel Edwards
Someone posted Blue Dragon but then deleted the post, is it Blue Dragon?
Jaxon Flores
Nope, nothing to do with it.
Brayden Wright
Is it Kameo: Elements of Power?
Logan Sanders
I was thinking that too but I'm not sure.
Parker Lee
>inb4 it's just some shitty WoW machinima and not an actual game
Evan Cook
what style was the game? Isometric? over the shoulder?
Parker Hill
Is it Shadow Hearts? I know you said white hair but it may be
Jackson Adams
ni no kuni?
Hunter Nelson
Regular third person, like in most MMOs you see out there.
It might even be. I'm not sure.
Adrian Clark
Threads of fate?
Henry Peterson
>gba game >you're fighting >pretty sure in robots >pretty sure its asian port
thats all i got someone please help
Adrian Mitchell
Was it maybe one of the Rampage games OP? Maybe this one?
Juan Peterson
Custom Robo GX?
Anthony Rodriguez
I've tried to recreate what the fleeing from djinn scene looked like.
I think it was a PC game.
Jayden Wright
>old game. probable quake 2 era >you start on some mayan temple >There's water besides you when you start. either beside you or you start inside the water >Something to do with green creatures >At the start of the game you go up some ladders and blow a wall to find a ladder
Literally all I can remember and I get the feeling the game was pretty popular
Levi Robinson
>Inb4 op is looking for animorphs :^)
Charles Hill
Man, fuck you, OP. Now I'm going to spend the night trying to find your gay ass game on a platform you're not even sure about while other faggots start asking for help with the ones they can't remember and this thread will die before one or more people get helped.
Jeremiah Baker
Is OP fucking with us?
Jordan Sanchez
sounds like a tomb raider game
Evan Carter
Swallow my cum.
Jason Barnes
Masterful work, user.
Brody Morris
Blue Dragon?
Carter Kelly
You're thinking of Threads of Fate for the PSX.
Only Rue (the boy) can transform into monsters, though. Mint (the redhead girl) gets magic.
Luis Jackson
I'm pretty sure it was first person
Luke Collins
???
Colton Taylor
Threads of Fate?
Easton Bell
If it was an FPS, that sounds like Gunman Chronicles, the forgotten, black-listed Half-Life 1 mod that Valve published.
Landon Clark
Might know the game you're talking about. Might be in my game collection let me have a gander.
Christopher Sullivan
But Threads of Fate has no desert or djin riding a magic carpet.
Jace Harris
Also the Djinn bit is inaccurate in every way and I think you've somehow crossed Threads of Fate and the first Dark Cloud in your memory somehow.
Tyler Edwards
Nope, that's not it.
I swear i'm not fucking with anybody. It could be a machinima from an MMO for all i know. I saw it in a Brazilian gaming TV channel that makes music + vidya clip mashups. Like this one.
Night, user. Sorry you couldn't find it, but I hope you'll remember it someday. And if you ARE glad you found it.
Christian Thompson
get cancer, user :)
Adam Hughes
It's weird remembering that From Software did stuff before Souls.
Matthew Moore
>MFW playing Dark Souls and discovering they're the same devs who made Lost Kingdoms
John Diaz
I TRIED TO BE PERFECT BUT NOTHING WAS WORTH IT I DON'T BELIEVE IT MAKES ME REAL I'D THOUGHT IT'D BE EASY BUT NO ONE BELIEVES ME I LEFT ALL THE THINGS THAT I SAID
Landon Bell
THANK YOU SIR!
Parker Reed
I have another one: >Game is about monsters fighting in a ring. >Game's is japanese, from the Sega era. >You can evolve the monsters when you get more experience.
Zachary Price
They were actually really fucking good before Souls. Otogi: Myth of Demons or whatever it was called was awesome.
Liam Diaz
Orphan?
Thomas Ramirez
>Young Child's Game >Knights and Wizards >"IM SIR SHIELD N' HAND"
that's all I remember. I think it was made by the same people that made those purple car games but I'm not sure and I can't find anything on it.
Ethan Turner
I once saw this game that was going to be an RTS/RPG hybrid sort of thing like dow2. What I vaguely remember about it is a single screenshot with a couple of the soldiers in the game standing in a jungle like area. They had on red armour and they make me think of NPCs from unreal or even tribes I guess. I think one was holding a gun like a plasma gun. I looked at it a long fucking time ago and was like "neat I'll have to check up on that" but I have no idea what it's called or what to even search and it's been like ten fucking years.
Ayden Gutierrez
Also I pirated it at some point many many years ago and it wouldn't launch for some reason, fuck.
Benjamin Allen
monster rancher?
Anthony Gomez
>monster rancher Sega era means 2D, user. Also a ring, as in an boxing ring.
Cameron Edwards
I played this small PC game a long time ago. Might've been in 90s or early 2000s. You played as a dude with green clothing (shorts, shirt, a cap IIRC) and you had to shoot these bouncing balls that were on the screen while avoiding getting hit by them. At least some of the balls splitted into smaller balls when shot.
There's a good chance that this game is some really obscure freeware game that's lost forever now, but I'd like to see it again.
Jaxson Ortiz
Bubble trouble?
Chase Morgan
Almost 100% positive this is it.
I played the ass out of it as a 5 year old. You go around rounding up all the different knights to save the king or some shit. There was a difficulty mode to save all the knights ( like 12 or something) or just a few to beat the game.
