I NEED TO REMEMBER THE NAME OF THIS FUCKING GAME I SAW ON A VIDEO:

>characters put on magic rings that transforms them into monsters and they fight against other npcs who are also wearing rings
>main characters are a human being, a manlet and a redhead girl
>they were running around a middle-eastern like bazaar/fair in the video, flying from a giant djinn in a magic carpet

PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS FUCKING THING

FLEEING from a giant djinn, i mean

Also, the game was somewhere around the PS2 era (2004-2009). It was a 3d game. It seemed like an RPG or an MMORPG or something of the sort.

Sounds interesting. Bump for interest.

Golden Sun?

Kinda curious too
Bump

Golden axe?

Dark Cloud?

>giant djinn, transforming monsters, red head girl, magic rings

I'm seriously tempted to say Dark Cloud 2 here but it also doesn't sound right

I first saw it in some sort of AMV mashup that had scenes from the game on it.

This is the song that played it the background, as far as i can recall:

vocaroo.com/i/s0jdkgYT0Cir

Does someone know the name of this song too?

Nope. The game looked kinda like WoW.

If you can find the video post it here. I'm curious to know what this game is.

bumpity bump

I'm interested.

I can't, it's been years since i last saw it. No idea of the title either.

The game KINDA looked like this, but all i saw was the cutscene.

But the graphics were more "real" and adult. Not really cartoony.

MAKING PROGRESS. I FOUND THE SONG

youtube.com/watch?v=cE_nc1Tt5s8

Here's a bump lad. W'ERE GETTING THERE

DONT LEAVE THIS MAN HANGING PLEASE

Keep at it, user! It'll come to you.
Also not sure if this'll help but try looking though this list and maybe you'll find it.

Summoner?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summoner_(video_game)

Nope that's not it.

But i must still keep searching

Here i go.

If this is of any help to anyone, i just remembered the manlet character was white haired.

Is it Bastion?

>characters put on magic rings that transforms them into monsters
>PS2 era (2004-2009). It was a 3d game.

>Bastion
really makes you think that you're fucking retarded

Nope.

A central point of the game was that the characters could put on magic rings and then transform into monsters.

The white manlet character wasn't the protagonist, but he was in a trio with an average joe and a redheaded girl.

In a cutscene, the white haired manlet was fighting with an NPC until he himself puts on the ring, transforms into a monster and the NPC runs away scared.

I saw white hair and saw so i figured this was just a thread of people looking for games.

Evergrace?

eternal ring?

Nope.

I'm not even sure if it was for the PS2. It had similiar graphics for the era, but it could be a PC game.

king's field the ancient city

Threads of Fate?

Same. Thought it'd be DC2 but apparently it isn't unless OP isn't remembering right

The manlet of the game looked like a white haired WoW gnome.

I remember a part of the cutscene where the three heroes get stuck into a dungeon made of stone, until one of them puts the ring and transforms into a huge stone golem.

Fuck it, I can't find anything anything close. For other anons with more fortitude than me, also check xbox hueg and gamecube games.

Someone posted Blue Dragon but then deleted the post, is it Blue Dragon?

Nope, nothing to do with it.

Is it Kameo: Elements of Power?

I was thinking that too but I'm not sure.

>inb4 it's just some shitty WoW machinima and not an actual game

what style was the game? Isometric? over the shoulder?

Is it Shadow Hearts? I know you said white hair but it may be

ni no kuni?

Regular third person, like in most MMOs you see out there.

It might even be. I'm not sure.

Threads of fate?

>gba game
>you're fighting
>pretty sure in robots
>pretty sure its asian port

thats all i got someone please help

Was it maybe one of the Rampage games OP? Maybe this one?

Custom Robo GX?

I've tried to recreate what the fleeing from djinn scene looked like.

I think it was a PC game.

>old game. probable quake 2 era
>you start on some mayan temple
>There's water besides you when you start. either beside you or you start inside the water
>Something to do with green creatures
>At the start of the game you go up some ladders and blow a wall to find a ladder

Literally all I can remember and I get the feeling the game was pretty popular

>Inb4 op is looking for animorphs :^)

Man, fuck you, OP.
Now I'm going to spend the night trying to find your gay ass game on a platform you're not even sure about while other faggots start asking for help with the ones they can't remember and this thread will die before one or more people get helped.

Is OP fucking with us?

sounds like a tomb raider game

Swallow my cum.

Masterful work, user.

Blue Dragon?

You're thinking of Threads of Fate for the PSX.

Only Rue (the boy) can transform into monsters, though. Mint (the redhead girl) gets magic.

I'm pretty sure it was first person

???

Threads of Fate?

If it was an FPS, that sounds like Gunman Chronicles, the forgotten, black-listed Half-Life 1 mod that Valve published.

Might know the game you're talking about. Might be in my game collection let me have a gander.

But Threads of Fate has no desert or djin riding a magic carpet.

Also the Djinn bit is inaccurate in every way and I think you've somehow crossed Threads of Fate and the first Dark Cloud in your memory somehow.

Nope, that's not it.

I swear i'm not fucking with anybody. It could be a machinima from an MMO for all i know. I saw it in a Brazilian gaming TV channel that makes music + vidya clip mashups. Like this one.

youtube.com/watch?v=gm1JbJfSA2c&index=14&list=PL0S9Wd2gXmycQ3DaDmgxWA9ALBCxFrnLS
I'm off to sleep now. It's 4AM here, but i will read all the replies in case someone gets the game right. Feel free to use this thread to find other unknown games.

Reminds me of the desert level on Spyro 2

But everything else fits and there is a scene of Rue and Mint running through a bazaar in the US trailer for Threads of Fate.

Holy shit. That is the game. Thank you so much for finding it. Now I just need to figure out how to get a copy to play or emulate it.

IS IT WILD ARMS 3?

Just check your youtube history and filter after that channel. Jeez.

Now I remember it was Turok 2

...

>Brazilian gaming TV channel
>TV

We're not falling for this, faggot.

I'm getting mixed messages.

Not OP but anyone remember a game being made by someone on Sup Forums-/agdg/

It's a fighting game, it involved a lot of flashy punches and kicks like DBZ. had shockwave effects, spinning, camera angles and it was pretty fast

...

They show AMVs on Brazilian TV?
No wonder the country is garbage tier.

...

We Shall Wake?

YES THANK YOU

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genie_in_popular_culture#Video_games
Try this maybe

SRW series?

Metal Masters

Night, user. Sorry you couldn't find it, but I hope you'll remember it someday.
And if you ARE glad you found it.

get cancer, user :)

It's weird remembering that From Software did stuff before Souls.

>MFW playing Dark Souls and discovering they're the same devs who made Lost Kingdoms

I TRIED TO BE PERFECT
BUT NOTHING WAS WORTH IT
I DON'T BELIEVE IT MAKES ME REAL
I'D THOUGHT IT'D BE EASY
BUT NO ONE BELIEVES ME
I LEFT ALL THE THINGS THAT I SAID

THANK YOU SIR!

I have another one:
>Game is about monsters fighting in a ring.
>Game's is japanese, from the Sega era.
>You can evolve the monsters when you get more experience.

They were actually really fucking good before Souls. Otogi: Myth of Demons or whatever it was called was awesome.

Orphan?

>Young Child's Game
>Knights and Wizards
>"IM SIR SHIELD N' HAND"

that's all I remember. I think it was made by the same people that made those purple car games but I'm not sure and I can't find anything on it.

I once saw this game that was going to be an RTS/RPG hybrid sort of thing like dow2. What I vaguely remember about it is a single screenshot with a couple of the soldiers in the game standing in a jungle like area. They had on red armour and they make me think of NPCs from unreal or even tribes I guess. I think one was holding a gun like a plasma gun. I looked at it a long fucking time ago and was like "neat I'll have to check up on that" but I have no idea what it's called or what to even search and it's been like ten fucking years.

Also I pirated it at some point many many years ago and it wouldn't launch for some reason, fuck.

monster rancher?

>monster rancher
Sega era means 2D, user. Also a ring, as in an boxing ring.

I played this small PC game a long time ago. Might've been in 90s or early 2000s.
You played as a dude with green clothing (shorts, shirt, a cap IIRC) and you had to shoot these bouncing balls that were on the screen while avoiding getting hit by them. At least some of the balls splitted into smaller balls when shot.

There's a good chance that this game is some really obscure freeware game that's lost forever now, but I'd like to see it again.

Bubble trouble?

Almost 100% positive this is it.

I played the ass out of it as a 5 year old. You go around rounding up all the different knights to save the king or some shit. There was a difficulty mode to save all the knights ( like 12 or something) or just a few to beat the game.
