Can't wait to see Nero as the captain of the Order in DMC5.
Lol memes. Fuck this shit you casuals git gud.
Capcom needs to hire another company to do something fun with the story while respecting the source material. Capcom can do the gameplay themselves.
THE TIME HAS COME AND SO HAVE I
>tfw his design go full /fa/ like his alt in SE
I like Donte better than Nerd
They worship a demon as a god?
Delet this
DMC1 > 3 > the rest
There are two reasons why that wouldn't work.
1) Nero didn't care for the Order. He was only a member for Kyrie and Credo. He wouldn't bother sticking around with it anymore.
2) The Order is dead. Their goals and ideals were ousted as shams and every important member was killed by Nero or Dante. With the Sanctus gone, the Savior destroyed and everything effectively torn down, there is no more Order of the Sword.
Even if the Order somehow managed to survive despite no longer having a reason to exist, there is no way Nero would ever bother staying.
Nero
>Anime aesthetics, alt costume is /fa/
>Respect others like Credo and Dante when he's sensible, which is 80% of the game when his waifu's not present
>Pure 10/10 waifu that he will die for
>play style is unique in vidya and have depths
Donte
>Hobo aesthetics
>Childish asshole that throw out
profanity like CoD babbies
>Eat Vorgil's used goods
>Trash gameplay that is a terrible imitation of classic Dante
>Nero
>respect others
Nero is extremely disrespectful. His general contemptuous attitude was the reason why he had zero friends other than Credo and Kyrie. Everyone in the Order hated him, but they had no choice but to acknowledge him because he was the strongest member they had.
The order got disolved
>Dissolved
That's a light way of putting it.
>Nero and Dante is basically the Order's Jesus
>They both get crucified and walk up from it at some point in the game
Well. Yes. The Savior is modeled after Sparda. All descendants of Sparda can power the Savior, so all descendants are also effectively Saviors themselves.
>8 years, 11 months, and 4 days since Dante died for our sins
>Not judging respective games by individual qualities and strengths
Objectively this is fact

To be honest, I'm glad that Dante stopped with the velvet from 3 onwards.

Is really nice to see DMC1 get some love. It's a great game even if the sequels surpass it noticeably in terms of gameplay
I like how DMC only has 4 bosses that evolves through the game. Some of DMC3's bosses are the best of the series (Cerberus, A&R, Vergil, Beowulf) but they appear only one time (except Vergil) and the game is bloated with shitty ones like Arkham and Leviathan
I found the bosses to be the weaker part of DMC1, to be honest, other than Nero Angelo. Half are boring, the other half are annoying.
Hey Sup Forums check this shit out.
What if for DMC5 we have another swordwielding half demon character, but his colorscheme is green
someone explain why all the dmc voice actors are power rangers
I WANT DANTE
I feel like DMC's lore is seriously running itself dry. I mean, I get that story was never exactly DMC's strong suit but come on.
DMC1: Dante fights Sparda's old enemy.
DMC2: Dante retraces a part of Sparda's history.
DMC3: Dante stops Sparda's seal to the Demon world from being broken.
DMC4: Dante and Nero save a city in which Sparda allegedly served as feudal lord whom its inhabitants worship as a god.
Everything begins and ends with Sparda. I understand that Sparda's a very big deal, but it makes both the Demon and Human worlds seem really small. As if nothing other than Sparda and his legacy matter.
because the games feature campy color coded action heroes fighting monstrosities?
Also because they would often use the motion stunt actors to do the voices too for cheap
>Dante's secret son/daughter that he never tell because all his previous family is dead
>Use A&R because Dante secretly left it as a gift
>Utterly silent, A&R talks all the game Okami style
>Green and yellow color scheme
but why did capcom hire american children show actors instead of whatever japs they usually use?
I hope you were purposefully putting together the worst possible thing you could think of for a DMC game.
Reminder that Dante goofs and people died in DMC4.
The Order was an absolutely harmless cult, but
>I told Trish to give them Sparda for lulz and she did it the absolute madwoman
What would the Order do without Sparda? They're toothless and they won't be able to barge down Dante's office to take Sparda. Dante & Trish got bored, looks for excitement and people died
The sword actually wasn't necessary at all to their plans. It was just a convenient bonus. The sword couldn't activate the Savior, nor could anyone other than a blood descendant utilize the full might of its power. Even Trish can't really use it beyond its basic physical attacks. In Sanctus case, it was just a really strong spear.
All they really needed was a blood descendant of Sparda. Which they already had; they simply weren't aware of it.
How about
>Dante and the gang kill Mundus once and for all
>Vergil's past and what he's been up to before 3 that lead to Nero and why Nero have the arm
>Vergil-Nero game that lead to Nero getting an actual DT and actually inherit the Yamato
That sounds kind of underwhelming. Do you really want an entire game to be about what/who Vergil did in his teen years and Nero's daddy issues? This is an action game. Vergil's escapades in the Red Light District aren't gonna bring crazy powerful demons barging into Dante's house.
I mean Sparda is basically Christ, so...
whens the announcement
Maybe Nero takes over the Order for his own purposes. Like a little demon hunting group.
She kinda did that on her own to be fair.
There must have been something before and after Sparda. The Demon Realm must be really fucking boring if he and Mundus are the only things worth a damn that came from it.
I'm just kind of tired of all the games just being about dealing with Sparda's leftovers and unfinished business. Half the bosses are just demons that Sparda had previously failed to kill.
Nero's a lone wolf. He'd sooner just travel the world on his own/with Kyrie than lead a cult. He doesn't need a group to kill demons. In fact, even in his Order of the Sword days, he mostly just worked alone. He didn't need backup.
It wouldn't be a stretch to say that Nero was basically 70% of the Order's firepower entirely on his own.
...
In the novel Berial says there's a big ass war down there too. Might be a good scenario for a game if Vergil is still there
A Sparda game would be nice too. Might even work in Yamato and Rebellion's origin
Sparda's better off as a legend.
youtube.com
Was it rape?
>Sparda game
>Every single boss fight ends with the boss surviving, cursing Sparda and swearing revenge on him and his descendants
>80% of the cutscenes are just a repetition of this
>Sparda refuse to use the Souls of the weak as DA
>Only collect Rebellion and Yamato because they are worthy and strong opponents that he respects
why not
>Nero, Trish and Lucia go to Hell to rescue Dante after DMC2
>turns out Dante's reputation had preceded him
>he's basically been pushed to becoming leader in one of he factions of a demon civil war, which he goes along with because if any other demon wins and unites Hell under their banner they'll just try to invade Earth themselves
You could even have Nero, Trish and Lucia separated when they go down there and end up falling in with different factions, whose ideologies happen to be just the kind of rhetoric that each of them finds compelling enough to conclude these must be the good guys
you could also have something about how Dante doesn't want to go back to earth because his majin form has become so powerful its like a nuclear bomb of demonic energy going off and would put humans in danger
>Rebellion is a piece of shit sword with no magical properties
>Yamato is the key to demon realm and can slash across dimension
Vergil favorite son confirmed
>Rebellion is a piece of shit sword with no magical properties
It gets stronger alongside Dante.
Rebellion never broke.
So much shit plot ideas in this thread, which shows how much of a dead end DMC series is lorewise. Just as you can't have Samus aran adventure #8 you can't have Dante adventure #5. Series that hinges on one, main charismatic MC is bound to die.
They should've pull a Jojo/Assassin Creed and go onto the next generation, Dante's grandaughter or something otherwise the series would go straight into another deathbed even after DMC5. Milking Dante's semen dry for every iteration is not sustainable practice
Huh. The Sword of the Order?
BTFO.
There's no evidence aside from a visual change though
It's only difference from Alastor is Drive
However
>The only thing that can withstand a Yamato slash by Vergil
>Dante also has an "ultimate defense" style (RG)
He was standoffish because everyone was an anus to him cos of his magic fap hand.
I like it, but four characters is a bit much.
I just realized Rebellion in DMC3 is "dormant" whereas in 4 it's "awakened"
He didn't get the Devil Bringer until recently. Even before he got it, he was an asshole and stronger than everyone else.
>cos of his magic fap hand.
Nobody knows about his magic dildo fingers. He has known Kyrie and Credo for a long time, and probably just grown his buster arm like a couple days before the start of 4 as he was trying to hide it from everyone, not to mention Agnus and other Order higher ups not knowing about Nero's demon power.
This actually begs a question on how did he acquire the magic hand. Did he fap too hard one day and his hand just turn into a buster hand? Did he came in contact with Yamato and got possessed by Vergil's ghost? Did he didle Kyrie's anus with his demon dildo fingers after the ending? So many questions with regards to the buster
I figured he was more of just a male tsun. They tried to establish that during the opening cutscene of DMC4.
>fighting like a madcunt to get to Kyrie's solo
>ignores her when she approaches him
>leaves a necklace on her seat
>Half demon
>Full autism over his weapons (his double barrel revolver and motorcycle Sword was made by himself), probably a namefag on /k/
He wouldn't be a fun guy to be around
it'd probably be something like
>Do Nero, Lucia, and Trish's routes in any order
>Once you've done them all you unlock Dante's route
>After Dante's route comes the grand slam finale
sort of like what Ninety Nine Nights did
it's not like each route would be an entire game's length long.
It was my... assumption. That those demons would prove faaaaar inferior. In the face. Of your. Tactics.
There's a flashback to it during the game, audio only. He's like "the day when I got my arm, a voice whispered more power." And you hear Kyrie and him grunting or some shit. I think the implication was that they were attacked by demons and his blood reacted, his body trying to DT or something, but he wasn't ready for it. It's like part of his body is permanently DT'd.
It was sequel bait, if nothing else, there's a lot of things you could do with that, such as Nero's entire body entering a permanent DT state that he needs to reverse or get under control.
if I remember right according to peripheral material it awoke when he was out on patrol, got ambushed by a bunch of demons and got his ass kicked. his arm awoke to his life being in danger.
His arm was wounded by a demon while he was trying to protect Kyrie. Somehow, that was the catalyst.
He was always friendly with Kyrie and Credo. He was just a dick to everyone else.
The revsword is standard equipment for the Order. The only difference with the Red Queen is that Nero removed its limiters, so it has far greater kick. Only he was able to handle it.
The Blue Rose was something Nero designed specifically to fight demons. The two bullets don't shoot at exactly the same time. The first bullet weakens the demon's armor and the second bullet pierces it.
>Capcom needs to hire another company to do something fun with the story while respecting the source material.
I've got you my man.
If they going to inroduce Nero again as MC in DMC 5 then they need to give hime more weapons instead of just one blue rose. He was pretty interesting to play as in the begining but lack of other weapons made him lame to me.
>tfw we'll never see the ultimate Devil Trigger
Why was Nero's DT a Jojo stand of Nelo Angelo ghost anyway? It's never been clearly explained. Does he have the potential to DT later on? Why is his arm permanently DT'd?
So many inconsistencies in Nero's story. Probably the final final twist is that he's not really Vergil's son, as the 18 years old dorkvoiced Vergil couldn't have gotten laid in Fortuna
My assumption was that since Nero has comparatively less demonic blood than Dante and Vergil, his demonic power converged into a single point to compensate.
this is the design they had in mind
>Why was Nero's DT a Jojo stand of Nelo Angelo ghost anyway?
a sort of soul echo imprinted on Yamato that was awoken by Vergil's descendant. More like an ancestral spirit than a stand. It's probably more intuitive to a Japanese audience that still has vestigial traditions of ancestor worship
My head canon is that when Nero got ambushed and got his DT'd, his arm basically got mauled completely and fainted. He head the voice "I need power, more power" (I think) and he DT'd, recovering his arm but since he already lost the human arm, he got stuck with the DT'd arm.
>we'll never see the ultimate Devil Trigger
DT'd Dreadnought was kinda close
I like DMC just as much as everyone, but the organic katana gauntlet wrist sheath is dumb and impractical as fuck
>that eye
Was Nero going to get a Devil Eye? What would its power is? Teleport?
Remember, Nero is only 1/4 demon. While Nero has a demonic arm, his overall physiology is inferior to Dante. His healing factor is implied to be weaker. That's why he needs Yamato. By absorbing it, he's much stronger.
>source: my ass
maybe his full DT was gonna get awoken via a similar ritual to the experiments Arkham did on himself and Lady?
This design was probably scrapped for a reason though.
Nero's DT already has a bunch of Yamato animations, but they probably felt that the Yamato replacing the Red Queen in DT with an similar moveset was a bad idea.
By making it a spectre instead they can keep the Red Queen and Exceed mechanic. Not everything that gets scrapped is because of time constraints.
Everyone already likes Nero by the end of 4.
He'll become teleports behind you edgelord tips my blue rose guy in 5 after too much time with Yamato
I haven't really been paying attention because I've lost hope, but is there any news/chance of dmc5
it awakens in 3 when vergil impales dante with it at the end of their first scuffle
Anyone else really fucking like Credo's design? The pseudo-angelic thing going on made me wish we could have played as him in the SE or at least have Dante get a weapon with that angelic aesthetic.
Getting impaled through the torso was clearly far worse for Nero than it was for Dante.

Itsuno's making something. It'll be either DMC5 (running odds favorite), DD2, new IP, or Rival Schools 3. Regardless of which one, 2017 gonna be gud
theres rumored to come a new game in a million years according to my highly informed sources
They always had the eyes.
Nah, they'll contrast his attitude with Vergil.
>mfw it's DmC: FUCK U 2 electric boogaloo
>it awakens in 3 when vergil impales dante with it at the end of their first scuffle
How the fuck does that work?
Bring Kaneko demons for DMC5
his blood awakens it alongside dantes demonic powers
Dante probably enjoys it because hes a depressed emo gay bondage punk
How do Dante and Vergil even know that they're Sons of Sparda? As far as we know they grew up with their mom and never knew their father.
So hear me out, what if Eva lied? Or maybe it's half truth. Sparda freed the human world 1000 years ago, then there's timeskip and suddenly he's a family man. What if Dante & Vergil are merely the descendants of Sparda, rather than literal sons of Sparda. These open up a lot of other demonblood characters with equal power to Dante, as well as end the Sparda circlejerk that's been around for all these series.
Jesus call himself the Son of God, but he's not literally son of God, as God didn't come down and didle Maria's vagoo. He's more like a distant God's test tube baby.
Is Mundus dead? I feel like we can't move on with the story until he is dealt with.
He's probably alive
Or maybe he'll find a way to get back to the real world
Along with Vergilio
>Is Mundus dead?
nope, just banished back to Hell
Sparda taught them to fight when they were like five years old.
