I take it you like shields. I've been interested in them as a new player but I love pistols in all games, do you recommend Blitz? or should I go with Montagne?

I have actually been getting sorta spent on it lately. Been playing more casual strat roulette then ranked or anything.

Depends, they have different functions, mate.

Not him, but I like blitz. If you want full body protection just crouch.

Blitz is fucked cause his hitbox is huge and his earmuffs count as part of his head hitbox and his armor rating is shit

Blitz is more of an in your face harassment sort of shield but easier to take out if he gets surrounded. Montagne is a bit more "flexible" but he's a bit more supportive. More about Intel and being a sort of an attention holder.

Thanks. I may go with Blitz, I'm still a pretty impatient player so being the advance with a flashing shield seems ideal.

Not really how it works, since they changed limb damage multiplier to the same as body damage, the exposed handgun arm is pretty easy to use against him.

Don't be the guy that flashes and goes ads right away, it gets you killed most of the time. Only aim for a shot when you know that you aren't being aimed at, even by a flashed player.

it would be better if the lighting wasn't horrible when you look through a window from the inside and can't see a person but they can see you perfectly

Aren't his animations also different in 1st and 3rd person

I'm on PS4 and it's the contrary for me, when I'm peeking from outside I can't see shit.

I'll have to agree with this
CSGO has gone stale for me and I don't know of any other FPS(pretty much only Overwatch) that's as much fun as Siege is. So far barely any match has ever felt the same as the previous one and you gotta love all the new content that's coming out for free (even if you do have to grind for it for a bit). Still shouldn't be a problem if you play often enough.
I still haven't tried ranked

I barely ever play ranked because I don't have a clan but I did play it the other day for the disco ball charm challenge. It's basically the same apart from choosing spawn and amount of rounds/round time. I'm not sure if I like the 3min rounds, it can feel a little too rushed at times but it was enjoyable executing a quick attack on the objective when all goes to plan.

Try ranked man. It's better. You get to pick objective locations, and spawn locations.

I don't know, I don't want to shit up games because I'm still pretty bad at navigating maps and haven't memorized objective locations at all, let alone figured out shit like useful valkyrie cam spots.
I guess this worked for CSGO since I've never really played casual there, but this feels different

Shield Fuze. His PMM is godly and his cluster charge is not only fantastic at clearing rooms, but can kill through reinforced walls.

Montagne is great if you have good synergy with some teammates. Blitz is decent but his head hitbox sticks out beyond the shield and his flash is inconsistent at best.
