The crucial thing is how many games will be adjusted for Scorpio.
Apparently M$ did some serious work on UWP to ensure that games made with it will be easy to adjust to Scorpio. But there is not that much of them. I expect games built on one of the big engines being ported (Frostbyte, Unreal, Unity).
To open up their consumer base so that both PC and Xbros can play games together henceforth buying games together.
Just use both like you are supposed to do.

Reasons for me:
I wanted to have 4K ready game/multimedia machine
I wanted to game on both PC and Console
I don't believe all ports to PC are good
Win10 is meh
Cross play with PC is tits bro.
Bur more on point, MS knows most PC gamers are PC gamers, and most console gamers are console gamers.
It's a great move for developers because it creates the largest eco system for their products.
I have a 4k capable gaming PC right now, you're not making a very convincing argument for me to adopt an Xbox or upgrade to windows 10 for that matter.
I don't care about 4K bluray movies, if I buy a game console it should have games.

Personally I use Xbone & Steam Link to have full access to everything on both PC desk and in living room with TV.

I dont have an Xbox one just a PS4 but my friend does and I played Killer Instinct over at his place. That definitive edition was pretty damn cool. Nice content for the price and it even included the original arcade game and even a separate mode that included the glitches. Thats pretty fucking cool honestly.

Got my Xbone S at the end of September last year, $250 for the Halo 5+MCC bundle, and I got FH3 for free. Probably a better deal than I would've gotten on BF.
Halo games go very cheap on key reselling pages. Got MCC for 6 bucks and Halo5 for 10.
But FH3 is worth it.
Not to mention that you can buy Titanfall2!
I actually got Titanfall 2 on PS4 to play with friends. Tempted to get it again on PC.
FH3 is pretty fucking great though, yeah. Need to get Blizzard Mountain.

It's pretty comfy. My only complaint is the shitty QC with the fan and I got a noisy one.
Feels good to be on the same ecosystem as scorpio, the best console yet to come. since I wouldn't lose my games & saves when I buy it next year
