Childhood is when you idolize Bioshock
Adulthood is when you realize Bioshock 2 made more sense.
Childhood is when you idolize Bioshock
Bioshock 1 had the better atmosphere and twist.
Bioshock 2 had the more interesting characters and better overarching story.
I can't even remember the twist in Bioshock 1. Would you kindly remind me?
Cake is a lie
Just beat Bioshock 2 again yesterday after replaying the first one back in November. I will say:
>Visuals are worse, mostly due to reusing assets and some of the new assets looking like garbage. First game had better atmosphere and flowed better (I will say that 2 was better with NPC models though).
>Story feels rushed at times and incomplete (there were several re-writes, and a lot of cut content)
>Combat was far better for the most part, mostly with better balance with damage, being able to use plasmids and weapons at the same time, better gene tonic line-up, etc.
>Hacking is far better, if a bit too easy.
>Little sisters were worse. I know gathering is closer to what the little sisters and big daddies do, but damn is it boring and a slog doing wave-after-wave of enemies and finding corpses. I harvested this time around)
>Story was not as good in 2, mostly since they had to shoehorn in lamb into the backstory in a awkward way that did not fit in well with the first game. I did like that there were more ending options though, even if they are pretty similar to each other. Sinclair was a bro though.
I am playing through minerva's den right now and I will say it is pretty damn good, I would say one of the better expansions to a game in some time.
I don't hate Bioshock 2 and I still find it fun, but it still feels more like a big expansion pack for the first game then its own thing.
the twist is that Bioshock crashes on launch with no working fix, and Bioshock Remaster crashes frequently in Neptune's Bounty.
For some reason I always had a good time with the multiplayer. It wasn't the best, but it was enjoyable.
No.
>2 had better gameplay
>1 had better literally everything else
No, hes right. Shut up.
>m-m-m-m-m-m-muh twist!
>the joke
>your head
