It could be much worse, but definitely could be better. SD cards are getting cheaper and most games in my experience don't really go over 25gb unless its shit like Battlefield. You'll be able to have probably 5-15 games with you at any given moment depending on what you play. If you're planning to buy Battlefield on a Nintendo console you should rethink life though, and let's not forget that cartridges are extremely portable as well.

i recently got a PS4 and bloodborne. the install size was 40gb or something like that for BB. let it die was about the same. decent quality textures and soundfiles are surprisingly large user.

40GB? That's astonishing. On my PC my highest file size of a game is Dark Souls III at 18.6gb w/o DLC. Battlefield 4 was 30gb and I've seen Battlefield 1 at like 70gb? It's definitely getting up there but perhaps textures will be downscaled since I'm sure no developer plans to have games on this running in 4k.

as we've already hashed out, it isnt gonna have a traditional HDD onboard because its being marketed a rough and ready handheld that you can carry around in your backpack and play at basketball games. leaving aside the fact that a laptop HDD wouldnt even fit inside the device, it wouldnt function for long under those circumstances

so the likely outcome is that its gonna have a tiny amount of internal storage. less than 100gb i would guess
