No, I mean, in the game settings, there's zoom x1, x2, and x3.

Please tell me you don't have it set to x3.

It literally just zooms your screen in, you have a smaller field of vision. x1 and x2 are fine for playing on a monitor, x1 obviously best way.

x2 and to an extent... x3 is what you use when playing on a TV from your couch. On x2, you can still see everything that's in range of hitting you, but stuff like the use item key opening chests, will open chests out of view still. On x3 certain things are in range of attacking you off screen, like missiles and scavenger. Playing on x3 is a good way to die constantly.

I keep mine to x2 cause I sometimes lay down on my couch with a controller to play and changing it constantly is tedious.
