Are there any easy ways to farm for weapons on classes I haven't used yet besides just grinding on early levels? I've been using Fencer almost exclusively but I'm wondering if I should try out either Air Raider or Ranger. I co-op with my brother and he plays Wing Diver despite my pleas for him to play Air Raider so I can lock on with Leviathans.

They need to make the fencer's various movement options standard, as well as take out dash cancelling and make it slide boost on a rechargeable meter.

It took them what, 3 months to fix the same bug with CPUs that MGSV developers fixed in 5 hours? And people defended it the whole time.

I back up my save every time before I enter a lobby. Shit sucks, but at least you can protect yourself.

I think it´s on pc only.
You´ll see people with absurd amounts of armour and very low overall level progression. They kill everything instantly and almost take no damage.

The worst part though is that because of their hacked save all the drops are very high level aswell, so you´ll get thousands of armour and the best weapons.

If you see someone like that just leave the game, the unlocks only get added to your save after you see the mission complete text

Play co-op. Beat a high level mission and then have the second player collect all the weapon crates

They could just be grinding high level missions on Inferno. I have less than 10% completion and already have lvl 90 weapons

You'll know when someone has been grinding Inferno missions, they'll usually have terrible health.

This, usually people with high armor have 20 percent or more progression and probably have been farming brute force on easy.

Any less than that and it gets fishy

Honestly I'd be fine with cheating if you didn't fuck anyone else up by doing it. The grind of Inferno and duplicates gets a bit much at times.

That's one of the things I hope they fix in 5, if you have a weapon it gets removed from the list of weapons you get.

Why would you grind armor on easy? Inferno gives you better, right?

You just need pals to farm with but the rng can be a bit much for some classes.

Go offline where there is no weapon limit with split screen for double armor gain and nuke everything in 1 hit and then pick stuff up.

AW YEAH, I hope they do scale armor to difficulty in the sequel, it'll make grinding on Inferno a bit more viable. If you're willing to face the challenge you should get the rewards.

But yeah armor is always the same. Get some decent weapons on crimson on inferno. Then go to brute force on easy and nuke things and pick up armor. You'll never get less than 160 armor per run.

The mission packs are garbage I think. Not enough people play them to be of any use. I would just focus on the main game.

Balam is good for red ants since they can't really attack it. they sort of just swarm all over your feet while only occasionally hitting it.

higher-armored balams can also be useful for tanky distraction strats on later missions like Monster Camp

tl;dr yeah it's not great for fighting bugs but it's not awful either

I wouldn't consider anything that dies within a minute tank material.

It's awful against all but three enemy types. Everything else in the game will tear through it like paper. It's shit.

Upgraded versions of the equipment like longer dashes for the fencer so we don't have to dash cancel, a larger energy pool for the wing diver, better versions of the vehicles and an ability for the ranger to summon npc squads as backup.

That particular level isn't even hard.

Bring that shit to an actual hard level and it won't work. That stage is actually really not that hard even on inferno. Not to mention that was single player

In the 300 hours i'v played so far I have seen them used once in a way that was productive. Some Japanese dude strapped some C4 to them and drove it into a shield bearer protecting a Hector. He had a hard time just driving it in a straight line.

The mission packs are great if you have friends to play them with. They're fucking hard as hell. Level 9 of the second dlc was just a big open area with two of ever boss monster in a big group in the middle. We had to try to aggro them one at a time and deal with the fact that because there's no trash mons, there's no health pickups. It was great
