Call me when Citra stops being terrible.

>let me shill for my patreon real quick
Fuck off.

Try emulating a social life.

>let me be an insecure retard
Fuck off after you've downloaded this.

Nice.

This is how games should look like.

Hopefully they get the issues with the graphics worked out. An in-built screenshot tool would be good too, the one that's supposed to be there doesn't work.

Compared to this......

Oh boy look at all the shit games i can play.

If the 200 dollar price tag kept you from buying a piiU you are a faggot.

Use Fraps, Shadowplay etc then.

>recurring thread

The ShitU can and will never play games at good FPS and resolution, so it doesn't matter if you pay $9999 for it.

Video games

They still haven't fixed the shit sound in the games?

>for once, Sup Forums gets something really nice
>SHILLING REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
What the fuck guys. Its fucking free.

>The ShitU can and will never play games at good FPS and resolution, so it doesn't matter if you pay $9999 for it.

neither will cemu, unless you build a $9999 pc

I notice 0 improvements from 1.6.4 to 1.7.0.
fps still low to erratic.
Still hiccups and cache.
Sound is still awful and unlistenable.

tis just nintendo shills getting butthurt nintendo pay them to shit post emu threads

All games that use techniques like post-process antialiasing will need shader modifications to fix the pixel size constant. You can see the problems that causes here.with the fuzzy outlines. Ideally someone should also go in and add dithering so gradiented surfaces don't upscale badly.

You're emulating the Wii U perfectly then.

Which games are known to work good with Cemu? Had high hopes for Bayo but it seems it still has some imperfections. How runs Xenoblade?

>build high end gaming pc 'cause muh frames and resolution
>play console emulators that run worse than the actual systems
>being 100% ok with this dissonance

>closed source emulator
I'll pass

like 5 games user

Mostly Mario level stuff.

nintendo shill

That's odd, I didn't by my haswell build for that much.
I got the CPU for $40
The mobo and RAM was free
the only thing I spent on was PSU, case and CPU cooler.

Do we still need to cache games first before we can play with smooth 60fps?

DELETE THIS!!

Decaf is making good progress too.

We're still mastering gamecube/ps2 emulation, it's all a work in progress but these cemu guys are on pure fire with their software.

It wouldn't run on your shitty shitux distro anyway.

What makes open source better?
Does it make the FPS higher?
Does it play the games in a more FOSS way?
No, shut up and get raped back to Sup Forumsay.

enjoy your botnet

Why is Nintendo emulation so based now?
To make up for the poorly coded N64 emulators?

Citra is still fucking shit

enjoy your no games

>make open source program.
>whops I accidentally made it closed source in the last build
>Holy shit it's suddenly botnetting for no reason, I have to commit linuxcide by standing up so all the blood ends up in my 3000lbs heavy fat ass.

3% game runs well currently
compat.cemu.info/

Where can i download wii u games, i don't have a private tracker

Is Cemu heavily cpu dependent?
Or will I be able to get by with a really good gpu?

Thanks a lot.
emulation=heavy CPU usage, no exceptions.

>What makes open source better?
Closed source emulator devs make the emulation scene stagnate by not releasing any documentation or findings whatsoever.
On top of that, once CEMU stops getting updates, in order to progress further you'll have to start reverse-engineering the Wii U and develop a new emulator from scratch adding unnecessary development time which could have been used to improve the already existing codebase instead, meaning that years of development time will be wasted doing the same thing which was already done before.

>PC does Nintendo better than Nintendo

PC always wins baby.

PC always does better than all consoles.

Everything is developed and playtested on PC, then dumbed down everytime it's shown on E3 and trailers until it's just a tiny piece left of the game so it's actually possible to play them on those shitty toastersoles.

Think I'll be fine with an i5 4670K and 1070gtx?
Will I need to overclock?

Gimme roms I cant find any on the google

Cemu is still in a early stage, so no clear answer. Go ahead and try, you could be the first to deliver info about what works and what doesnt with a i5 4670K

OP here.
I have the 4690K and a GTX1070, it works, but it's still work in progress and stuttering before it's cached will happen, but after that it's solid 60FPS.

Let me guess.
You are 15 years old at most, correct?

Upgrade to the next generation of Intel i7 that's around the corner and you will be golden.

15 years older than you, yes.

Let me tell you how games are developed.
You see they aren't made on the actual console with controllers, they are made on computers with mouse and keyboard with a controller attached so they can try the game as they make it.
Now get the fuck off, it's an 18+ site.

>You see they aren't made on the actual console with controllers, they are made on computers with mouse and keyboard with a controller attached so they can try the game as they make it.
Sure, that's the reason why devkits no longer exist. Or do they?

>will this work?
>no, wait for X
>time passes
>is X okay now?
>no, wait for Y
>time passes
>is X okay now?
>no, wait for Z
Its always the same with you faggots. There's always new better shit releasing every year, fucking buy what you can afford now.

i play sims for that

This

>buying a new CPU before Ryzen is out
ISHYGDDT

i'm about to sign up for patreon, do these builds come with a key code? Can I just release it to you guys?

Ignore that faggot. He's obviously butthurt about his console losing relevance

Devkits are open so they can port it and are run side by side the computer they develop the game on.
That being said, notice how every "gameplay" trailer always have the sentence "running on ingame engine" instead of "running on the actual hardware".

gamerant.com/e3-2013-xbox-one-demos-windows-7-pcs/

You can stop samefag-phone-posting

I'm only interested in playing Xenoblade in 4K.

Sound is consistently the worst part of emulation in accuracy and performance.

>closed-source

>not waiting for Vega to BTFO the Titan X Pascal for less than $500

>You can stop samefag-phone-posting
Go cry to hiroshima about it

You're kidding, right? Devkits are hardware estimates, most of the time they come with UI and Network shit that devs need and they cant just have be available to get stolen.

>notice how every "gameplay" trailer always have the sentence "running on ingame engine"
That's because 10 FPS gameplay with framedrops isn't necessarily what you want to show to your potential costumers. Of course, the code is written and compiled on PC using keyboard and mouse (duh), however the actual game is tested on the devkit.

As far as the Xbone goes, that one already runs stripped down version of Win10 so it's not really surprising that its games are very easy to port to PC and vice versa.

Man, Splatoon was so great

Unironically hyped for Switch just to get to play it some more.

>not waiting for RX480 to BTFO the 1070 for less than $250

t.2016 amdcuck

Good that we have come to a mutual understanding since I hate to waste energy on bickering.

Console wars are like comparing cheap DD cars to hardcore sportscars that are handbuilt.

One cost way more than the DD wants to spend on a car.
PC is the same, more expensive but it's also faster on a level the consoles can't keep up.

>not waiting another 20 years for Super Titan: Cock of Destruction Edition to get 5 more fps in minecraft

Fuzzy outlines there are due to the bloom buffer being too small

>Devkits are hardware estimates
They are actual hardware, mostly with bigger memory so you aren't too constrained during the development however the processing power is exactly the same as the retail units. Their UI is identical to the retail, with the difference that nowadays you have some extra application on the dashboard which allow you to run executables over network so you wouldn't have to burn a new Blu-Ray every single time you wanted to test something.

Sonyggers and Nintoddlers

I somehow fail to understand how did you manage to incorporate sonyggers into Wii U emulator on PC.

Did my Wii U just become obsolete?

Can game cache be transferred between versions?
I dont want to replay all mario kart 8 levels with stuttering before I can play it again with my friends at 60fps.

It's closed source and free? What's the point of that?

game compatibility list is still pretty low for now
that and online features

was gonna say what devkits are in a more informal way above but didn't since it'd be too drawn out.

Yes devkits are what consoles could be if they weren't pushed for money.

Consoles are in fact always sold at a loss, that's why console games always cost more than PC games (at least before steam decided to take more for the digital than the actual physical copy that includes more stuff), because 15-20% of the games cost is going towards the console price.
So if you buy around 6-7 games for a console, the console has finally paid off through the price of the games.

No, and yes.
It works as intended the emulator has some way to go before it can replace it but in the end it will be obsolete unless it's value raises similar to retro consoles for collectors.

The controller will never be obsolete though.

I bought Zelda SS limited edition and a nunchuck and I don't even own a Wii.
I did it because Dolphin plays the games better than the Wii and I wanted to play the game as it was intended, but with more than 4 times the frame rate and 8x the resolution.

Do a backup and try.
I just overrode the 1.6.4b since I know I won't be doing serious playing until further development is done.
Also because I don't have a WiiU pad and thus won't experience the games as they are meant to be played.

Some things are better to stay hidden, especially if you're emulating a console with actual OS while there are no public dumpers available for it yet.

they're just mad nintendrones

I saw a video of some guy saying it's possible and proposing people compose a collective shared folder of their caches.

>and proposing people compose a collective shared folder of their caches
Could these people not think of a single reason why are shaders compiled on per-computer basis?

>Mario
>Mario
>Mario
>Mario
What about other game?

they look the same apart from some jagging that only becomes obvious when you look at it on a 25" monitor in your face.

>it only becomes obvious

Maybe if your eyes are 2/20

you obviously never played games on tv screen while sitting in a couch 5m away from it

Literally unplayable. Call me in 3 years when things actually work.

>everyones eyes must be as bad as mine

Hang yourself son.

Does Paper Mario: CS run on it yet?

How is it possible this new version OP posted runs like dogshit but the previous versions ran fine?

Have you cached the games properly?

please explain user, just started using Cemu a few versions ago and havent got a clue how to or what caching does

not him, but when was the last time you saw a thread without sonygger shitposts? There's your answer. The subject matter is practically irellevant. They'll always be there shitposting about something.

Holy shit I lol'd

Shhhhhhh, don't make them angry.

Are you sure you're not just imagining things?

Thanks user
