BLUNDER OF THE CENTURY

Even IGN cant stand to give the anime shit below 7? Must be damn good

is OP just a giant faggot?

i don't get it

Currently on 80 on metacritic

>STEALTH SECTIONS
>IN A GAME WHERE YOU FLY AROUND FUCK GRAVITY

>Gravity Rush 2 is literally the best game of 2017

How the FUCK does Sony do it bros?

How come basic stealth makes you people so angry?

Oh cool. Pretty much scored what I expected it too. Going to buy it with a gift card I got for Christmas.

because it's not a stealth game. what if every time you wanted to scope Ana in OW you had to score a Tetris?

I fucking hate videogame reviews.

>8.4/10

This is supposed to be a bad grade WTF?

5/10 should be average. Things like assassins creed/Uncharted 4 go here.

6/10 should be good games. TLOU etc should go here

7/10 should be exceptional games should only be given if a game does something extremely well but doesn't especially innovate. The first Bioshock should be here.

8/10 should be games that innovates and pushes the limits of a Genre. Games like silent hill 2 should be here.

9/10 should be games that achieves something unique in games never done before. These should be very rare. Given out once per decade on average. 999 is an example.

10/10 shouldn't be given until we have an AI that makes your personal perfect game.

Woah that´s pretty high for an anime game, i´m getting it

BLUNDER OF THE CENTURY

How did it get above 8?
Gravity Rush 1 is complete garbage. Didn't expect the sequel to be much better. I bet it still sucks.

Jak and daxter isnt a racing game. Why does it have races?
For variety

So, the game is good? Cool.

usually because stealth is a gimmicky mechanic outside of major stealth games. And let's be realistic. Even inside of major stealth games stealth isn't anywhere as good as it could be.

The worst part is that you typed this all up and are probably serious too

Because it´s not on Vita

Pretty good, gonna pick it up later after I finish the first one.

>Mission variety is bad
I bet you thought MGSV was a masterpiece

>stealth missions in non-stealth games
Why are gamedevs STILL doing this?

WRONG ONE GUYS, THIS IS THE REAL 8.8 BLUNDER

>Go look at metacritic
>Jim Sterling is there

Why does this obese cuck get a say in the reviewer section?

>Gravity Rush 1 is complete garbage
It's time to kys yourself, faggot.

Nah, I somewhat agree with you but having a 1-10 score when 10 is never used is dumb.

If you bumped everything up by 1 that rating system would be fine(Ie 999 would be a 10 or bioshock would be an 8)

This day just pretty much summed up the state of Sony and Microsoft right now

Only 80 on metacritic KEK

You already said it. He's a cuck.

Kill yourself you sperg.

This is such bullshit, the gameplay was one of the worst ones i have ever seen, it was a fucking 2 or 3.

Yeah. WTF happened to console gaming all of a sudden?

Nintendo isn't relevant. Xbone gave all its exclusives away and is cancelling new exclusives left and right.

Playstation 4 is also losing 80% of its exclusives to a PC release. Most exclusives that do come out get low scores.

I used to be an Idort ever since the SNES/Sega console war. And this is the first generation where I only have a PC.

I even have money set away for buying all 3 consoles but I just have absolute 0 reasons to buy them anymore.

Something went truly wrong for consoles and I don't seem to be able to pinpoint exactly where.

That wasn't what I meant

...

Remember that star video where he said all reviews were an 8.5, it's the truth.

>This post

>Something went truly wrong for consoles and I don't seem to be able to pinpoint exactly where.
2007

Why is this game not on the Vita?

That's a surprisingly high score for moeshit.

I don't get this post. I feel no tribalism towards PC and no hate towards PS4. It's just a product.

If I secretly wanted to play PS4 games I'd just buy the console. But This is genuinely the only generation where I didn't feel the need to buy any consoles anymore.

It's just not worth it anymore.

>rating system sucks

Any rational person already knows this. People just love seeing numbers.

>there needs to be more ambiance

This is the most stupid thing I've ever seen.

A stealth segment where you can manipulate gravity could be pretty neat, man.

>shit camera
>no impact on score
>in an action game
Why reviewers have less standards than a 8 year old from 20 year ago?

this game you quote IS factually garbage. It only became "le hidden gem" meymey because pony voices saying porny things.

Ocarina had a great camera and modern games still fuck it up. Why? How? There's been tons of games and they have no camera problems and games still can't gate the basic shit right......

>engaging story

Well thats good.

1st game was a clusterfuck until you found the missing children.

Just started getting serious with the first one yesterday, in preparation. Goddamn, it's a good game, and that soundtrack is glorious.

>it's worse than TLG
>it's worse than fucking shantea
that said some reviewers are faggot, and hardly hide their hate for non realistic graphics.

> Silent Hill 2 8/10
This post rustled my jimmys

I fucking hate sony for not making a vita port.

What, for all the three people owning a Vita?

Plot gets muddled due to a lot of the missions having little to nothing to do with the overall story and and the "mysteries" don't reach a satisfying conclusion by the end of the game.

Its niether "heres the resolution the the mysteries" nor "tee hee we still have mysteries we wont tell"; it just sorta ends. Which was jarring since, at the time of release, it really didn't look like we'd be getting a sequel or anything.

So what it do wrong? too linear? condescending objective markers? arbitrary progression? is it casual? does death have no penalty? is the game not challenging? is it repetitive? Is the story pretentious?

you are autistic

Too fun

Congrats. Your rating system is somehow even more retarded than IGN's.

too much water? too much air!

Why? The Vita is/was shit

Dropped. Thanks for the warning my friend

In tight spaces. Do you know how many times that happens in GR?
Barely ever.

nice, I've been thinking about getting the first one for a while now

You had me up until
>999 is an example of a 9/10

The fuck are you on, dude?

>not even IGN gives it a 10/10
Really must be bottom of the barrel trash

It's a good handled with a lot of jrpg.

>WE CAN'T GIVE 10/10 BCUZ NO GAEM IS PERFECT XD

>8/10 should be games that innovates and pushes the limits of a Genre. Games like silent hill 2 should be here.
>Games like silent hill 2 should be here.
>silent hill 2

see? That shitty excuse of yours can be applied to every game with camera issues, ever.

I want to impregnate Kat and run away from the responsibility of raising a child!

So how come you guys only cares about ign scores when you want to shitpost a game? In all honestly it's pretty damn dumb for anyone to take ign seriously.

Not enough worthwhile games.

"A console is just a box we buy to get to the games."

If the games suck, the console sucks. Modern gaming devs are clueless.

>parade a 8/10 expecting peoplpe to clap and parade you brand latest "victory"
>people trashed it instead
>WHO CARES ABOUT REVIEWS OK REMEMBER GODHAND AND PARTY BABIES
You just don't make that shit up

Damn that's high for weeb trash

Kat is cute. CUTE!

Gravity Rush 1 is charming and fun little action game but has it's share of flaws, the combat can be or rather just is repetitive, but the world building, exploration, art direction and gravity flying mechanics more than make up for it in my opinion. There is a skill progrssion system that actually feels meaningful and provides inentive to attain more power.

It's a pretty decently sized open world too that is nicely paced giving time for you to explore inbetween the main story. The atmosphere, characters and overall visual style of the game omits a unique other-wordly kind of charm and it's one of the most refreshing and pleasing aspects of this game.

Weather or not it can be considered good I feel it too much of a railroaded question, it's just really quite special and unique. If you're accustomed to playing AAA games with big production values and generally refined controls then it might not be for you but if you appreciate indie games for example or games that offer a unique gameplay with a cool take on the action open world genre then you might come to love it like so many people here do.

...

Fun but flawed. The story is really minimal to the point that it barely exists beyond hints that Kat is some kind of queen. The Combat also has problems and you come to rely on the gravity kick which can be a bitch to aim on some enemies since you need to hit the big 'fuck me here point' and sometimes you glance off awkwardly. But, the game does have some charm in its setting and a few of the characters with a bit of humour thrown in. Still i really liked the game and im waiting for the sequel. id recommend it especially if its ever on sale

The racing in Jak and Daxter was great and fit with the game both in theme and in execution. Many modern (and classic) games shoehorn in stealth sections with horrible mechanics with little to no tutorial that instafail you for not understanding the rules that they didn't explain to you. I don't know if this is the case here or not, but it's definitely a negative for any game that it's included in.

If this game had a nintendo logo stuck on it and was a switch title it would be getting 10/10 by ign and goty awards from everyone.

I'm not into anime and I find jap culture in video games to be cringeworthy at the best of times but is the first game still a good all action game to play?

Well, it isn't an anime

And the setting is based on some French comic

So you're probably good to go.

Bear in mind that Gravity Rush isn't really an action game. It's more like a platformer.
Like if Mario Galaxy used its gravity mechanics as more than just a gimmick to slap onto standard levels.

>implying I give a single fuck

Even so, I pre-ordered that shit and now I'm even more hype that those are the only flaws they could find

10/10 is paid review. If it doesnt hit 9/10 then its literal trash.

SONY BTFO

BLUNDER OF THE YEAR

SHOULDA JUST CANCELLED IT LIKE SCALEBOUND

Gravity Rush doesn't really have the audience to be shitposted m8

>game gets 9's across the board from top outlets
>metascore is 81
I don't get it

>5/10 should be average. Things like assassins creed/Uncharted 4 go here.

Listen here you little shit. Uncharted 4 is one of the masterpieces of our generation. Easily one of the most inventive games with such a rich immersive story you almost forget you are playing just a video game. And don't call me a shill or drone. I don't even own a PS4 even though it is the best console on the market by far.
