I'm emulating Mario Kart 8 at 60 fps on my laptop

Holy hecks, Sup Forums.

The future is now!

can u post specs, and what emu build you are using? i want to get into wii u emulation

I played that game years ago

Why are nintendo consoles always emulated/hacked/modded so easily?

Does nintendo just make them in a way that makes it easy or does nintendo just have a higher number of obessed autists willing to spend time and effort to do it for them?

On a poorly coded Nintendo 64 emulator?

>playing MK8 while hunched over a desk like a troll

What games are worth playing though?

>PC WON

more scraps

>implying I can connect my pc on my 55" 4k tv and use controllers

Yeah sure. Here's the basic stuff since I'm too lazy to get speccy or whatever you use these days.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.6GHz

Memory: 8192MB RAM

GPU: GTX 970M

And just a generic shitty HDD. It's advisable that you use an SSD to speed along the caching process. I'm using the latest version available on the website.

So yeah, nobody told me this but when you first start playing a game, it'll stutter really bad but after a while it'll cache all the shaders you come across and it'll run smooth.

Mario Kart 8 is good for this since you can just leave it on the start screen and it'll do demo races and automatically sort that all out after an hour.

Dang that sucks, playing on a TV is way better

>cant*

Nothing.

I'd reccomend you wait until 1.7.0 which comes out next week for non-patreon supporters which will allow interchangable caches. Which means you won't have to start with an empty shader cache with each new iteration and suffer through the stuttering again. As well as this, the community will probably compile their own shader caches to be used in games so you can avoid the whole process entirely and get to playing straight away!

What tempatures do you get when running it?

Well I've been stress testing now and after the hour it caps out with my gpu at 50 and cpu at 70. Never exceeds 80.

I doubt I'll be playing this on a hot day however. It's 25 celcius right now.

Wait, what? Why is that even needed? Hasn't been optimized yet or something?

Shaders are GPU dependent, you can't share them, and the shader cache is valid for as long as they don't touch shader code, as soon as they need to it will invalidate your old cache.

Mario Kart 8 mostly. I really craved something to play with my friends. PC has been shit since forever for couch games so this is perfect.

That's weird because I literally just watched the dev video on this and he said this would be entirely possible in the next update. The community would be able to share and compile them with the latest feature update.

I don't know if it'd have to be the same GPU model or something.

>having friends
wow i have not heard that in years, wonder what that feels like.

>getting a LAPTOP with an i7/970

Hey, it was only 1000 dollary doo daas and I've had it for a year and a half and it does well.

>only 1k usd for an i7HQ and 970
damn with that money I can only get an i7-6500U and 940 in my country

I got extremely lucky. Some rich kid got it for uni and didn't end up going so I basically got it practically brand new and for a severely reduced price.

CEMU is great

mario kart isn't that good

...

It's alright.

What emulator are we talking about?

Because people actually want to play Nintendo games

CEMU

Can you play online?

>all these assblasted nintoddlers
LOVING
EVERY
LAUGH

I've already had my fill of MK8 on the official console, it's not a game that drastically benefits from emulation, call me when Xenoblade and Bayo can be run perfectly.

Yes

You drastically benefit from it if you don't wanna spend $200 on a dying console. Not to mention the next update is allowing native resolutions of up to 4x so there is a benefit if you've got a beefy PC.

why would you want a tv that big if you can't connect it to the pc?

Spent $100 and got online functionality and full compatibility for 2 years now.
You spent $1000 on a laptop to play the inferior version with bugs, stuttering and no online.

...

Yes, because people bought computers specifically for cemu and nothing else.

Idiot.

FUCK I feel like such a retard now, it turns out I actualy did. I thought that I might buy a $1000 pc just to pirate wiiU games rather then just getting a wii u and hack it.
what else can a computer do?

...

So i can post pictures? i can do that on my phone as well, can you tell what else it can so or is that all?
geez why buy a pc if its just a large phone without a touch screen.

Holy moly, this is just embarrassing.

You really feel like you need to defend your purchase that badly? Chill dude. Just laying out the facts.

Man idk, the bitch I am fucking kids told me to go on this site and get a good PC since I like to play emulators on my phone.
That's the last time I will listen to my nephew man.
