>It's in Early Access you literally can't complain about it
It's in Early Access you literally can't complain about it
>it's still in PTR, they're not done balancing yet
How are any of these unreasonable?
>dayz
The point of Early Access and PTR should be for feedback before the changes go live. Instead, people constantly shoot all criticisms or suggestions down with posts like those two.
>it's in Early Access and still better than completed AAA games
They charge you full price for it and never finish it
>how is this unreasonable
Literally entered this thread just to call you underage.
>DayZ
>But they're going to fix this
>But the game is fun as it is
ARK has DLC and is still in early access. I'm going to complain about that shit all day
...
Literally nobody says this. The whole point of early access is to receive feedback.
Not that user but they don't force you to buy the unfinished product, you Literally know what you are getting in for so complaining and making dumb statements like this is retarded.
Also early access is cancer and should be stopped.
>Nobody says this
Go check out any fucking Early Access game on steam, look for ANY post giving criticism and you will see those very words EVERY time.
>Incessantly bitch and rail against kickstarter and early access
>A game that was both is now one of my top 5 favorite games of all time
...
Name 1 game
Shh..
Doesn't exist
>12 year old Steam reviewers are retarded
Color me surprised
then don't buy them if it's in early access?
Squad and escape from tarkov
>people buy early access
Factorio.
Because for example, WoW has notoriously bad balancing and people see this from the start of the PTR. Guess what line people use to defend it.
> Overgrowth is still in early access so you shouldn't complain about it!
> It's still getting regular updates!
> vast majority of them relate to simple graphical or compatibility tweaks
> barely any weapon additions over the last two years
> absolutely no progress on the single player campaign
> so much time has passed that the programmer is trying to port it over to Unreal and abandoning his custom engine that he kept bragging about
> he still hasn't ported over to Unreal and still makes barely any progress on the old engine
> he's so indecisive that it proves that he's too incompetent to actually finish his fucking game
The fact that a project is still unfinished after so long a time should prove how unreliable the developers are. It shouldn't be used as this infinitely long excuse for undelivered promises and poor communication.
Everspace
>abandoning the engine
what the FUCK
nig spent so long fucking around with that thing and it actually looked pretty neat
jesus christ what a trainwreck it turned into
Have you guys ever noticed when footage of an unreleased game is shown people commonly deflect criticism by saying it's unfinished and it can only get better? I've never see people see good mechanics and go "Oh, these mechanics are definitely going to be worse in the final game." Excluding vague stuff like "You can climb this mountain" and open world games getting repetitive.
I fucking hate it when people say "It has potential to be great" whenever they talk about EA games
I instantly disregard all their opinions as soon as I hear that bullshit
crawl
You can complain about anything you want, but to me complaints start to become valid once a game has a price tag.
