A Sheng-Ya ship on route to a factory nearby crashed into a shore, the virus got into the water, Bakers uses that water, got infected, went shopping at the local store, others got infected etc.

Bakers did nothing wrong and was just a normal family before they contracted the virus.

In the game you will be exploring the ship and the factory, along with different locations.

No mentions of Wesker at all

I liked the bit of puzzling and exploration in the demo. But, the monster bit was just shit. Combat sucks. Also, I saw the one trailer where the hillbilly guy chases you and literally walks as he does so. No tension, no sense of chase, no fear. Just casually walking and allowing you to get away. I hope that the whole sneaking and avoiding enemies is just a small fragment of the game, cause it looks poorly implemented so far.

I dont get the Outlast clone hordes. The demo for this played like a first person 90's P&C game with some tension thrown in.

Yeah, it's not RE1-CV. But neither were the last 5 games we got. It does play a helluva a lot better than 6, though. At this point, i'm just glad we're stepping away from "AMAZING CINEMATIC MOMENTS" and QTE's.
